The medication schedule had to be changed a couple of times due to some side effects my cat was having, and she took it in stride. About: I have a lifetime of experience with pet care, which began with helping my mom run her in-home dog boarding business when I was growing up. I live with my girlfriend who is a veterinary technician with over 15 years of experience. Ours is a loving home, with a large, securely fenced yard. Our top priority is to keep your dog safe, feeling comfortable, and relaxed, just as they would be in their own home. I offer boarding, walks, in home visits, and more. I am comfortable giving meds, preparing special diets, and caring for puppies as well as seniors. I used to train and show dogs when I was younger, and can help get your puppy off on the right foot with house training. Dog sitting is my only job, and my flexible schedule revolves around that. I can be available at any reasonable time for pick-up and drop off appointments. I'm home almost all of the time to be with the dogs, only leaving to run brief errands when necessary. All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.

About: I started walking my next door neighbor’s Boston Terrier when I was around 10. She knew I was an animal lover, and even let me experiment with some training with her pup. This led to me getting into agility training and just general dog training, which I have started to pick back up again. I am known as the family dog sitter, as my family has a combination of Pit Bulls, Bernedoodles, and hunting breeds, so I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes and stubbornness! Aside from dogs, I grew up volunteering at shelters where I adopted my own cat when I was 15, and eventually even landed a job as a zookeeper! About: Since I was thirteen, I have stayed home alone while my parents went to work, up to twelve hours on certain days. I have consistently been an owner of five or more dogs at a time, and I would always manage their meals, potty breaks, and everything in between. I am currently unemployed, so I have my entire days to spend taking care of your dog(s). I only keep my weekends to myself, but all day on weekdays are perfect. Whenever I have cared for my dogs, I always took a low-key, chill approach. As long as I know the dogs' tells for wanting to go to the bathroom, as well as general mealtimes, I usually sit with the dogs, give them pets and playtime, and they are generally happy with that.

About: I have 3 dogs and a cat at home that I take care of every day so I'm used to taking care of more then one animal. All three of my dogs are on medictions so I have some experience with giving medication as well. I have a very flexible schedule because i am a retired veteren. Not working during the day allows me to have more availability to care for your animals no matter the time of day. Making sure pets get time to play and do what they want is important to me. My pets get to be free all day since I am at home and can let them out whenever they need. “Shelby was very nice, she was wonderful with my dog, Waylon. She was also gracious when I asked to change the pick up time. Waylon loved playing with her dog, Copper. I will be taking Waylon back to see Shelby and Copper again.”

“Had a great experience with Patrick. We had an unplanned trip for family reasons and had to find a sitter for Whiskey (1yo unfixed cav) a day before leaving.
