When I went to drop Teddy off, she gave me a tour of her house to let me know what kind of environment/setup she has. She also let me meet some of her family members who are also very sweet. While Teddy was staying with her, I got 22 pictures and multiple videos through out the stay to let me know Teddy is doing just fine. She also sent me texts throughout the stay just to let me know how Teddy is doing. During the night, she even put a little sweater on Teddy to make sure he doesn’t get cold. My family and I were going to Canada and I was super nervous because I was going so far away, but Lourdes definitely made me at ease and my family enjoyed every single pictures and vidoes she sent us. She is going to be on the top of my very short list of people and places that I can trust Teddy with.”

About: I've been taking care of and rescuing animals since I was a child with my grandmother. We always had all kinds of lovely creatures running around the house, including a baby raccoon that we rehabilitated and released back into the wild when it was ready to leave the nest! About: I have had pets since I was a kid. I had dogs, cats, birds, fish, lizards, Guinea pigs. I currently have a husky now. I have a big heart for animals. I will help take care of any dog/cat. I am available after 3pm weekdays due to work and all day on weekends. If I can’t come for whatever reason, such my son being sick or an appointment, my boyfriend is able too. My dog is crate trained and he goes on walks daily. I will be able to take your dog out on walks and let them run in the backyard, if you have a fenced in yard. I will feed them and play with them and keep them stimulated.

About: Hi, my name is Lindsay and I’m an animal lover through and through. I grew up in a cat‑loving family with the most adorable tabby and Persian cats. One of our Persians, Sweetie, was especially close to me. She passed away a few years ago, and losing her truly broke my heart—she was with me for so long and gave me so many wonderful memories. I also spend a lot of time with my family’s dogs—a brown Labrador, a German Shorthaired Pointer, and a pair of Boston Terriers—and I always make sure to play with them whenever we’re together. Back in high school, my mom, sister, and I volunteered at our local humane society. We cleaned kennels and litter boxes, played with the animals, and gave them the affection and company they needed. About: Murphy and I are a tag team! Please only reach out if your pets are good with other dogs. I’ve always been the girl who is obsessed with dogs. I grew up with dogs and I was the one who took care of them, and that love for caring and training has only grown. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. Some evenings I babysit for my family out in Spencerport, but kid friendly dogs are welcome to come with me and there is also a large yard (not fenced in, but there is a 30 ft leash set up). I have a fenced in grass courtyard where the dogs can play, and my apartment is very open and there’s lots of room for dogs to play inside. My dog Murphy does not need to be crated when left alone, but I have a small cage in case anyone who visits needs it. Murphy has more toys than I care to admit, so your pups will have lots to play with.

About: I started walking my next door neighbor’s Boston Terrier when I was around 10. She knew I was an animal lover, and even let me experiment with some training with her pup. This led to me getting into agility training and just general dog training, which I have started to pick back up again. About: I had dogs all my life, I love them!! I currently have a 11 years old weimaraner, which is in Spain with my parents, and a 5 years old Russian Toy, Harry. Harry is living with my bf and I in Rochester. He is 4.5lb and a super easy-going boy! So, I am used to all dog sizes, and I do pretty well with the high energy ones!! I'm a PhD student so I can scape from the lab anytime. I normally walk my dogs very early in the morning, at noon and at night. During the weekends I give them long walks. At my place my dogs have been always inside home and at their own. When they go out is always under my supervision. Since my dogs are well behaved and not destructive I've never used crates. If I take care of a dog that is not mine, I will listen the requirements from their humans to have a good care of their needs.

I will walk them many times throughout the day however, I also have a fully fenced in yard ready to be played in!! As I am a college student on break I am almost always home as well as my dad who works from home. I am ready to accommodate all in order to ensure your dog is safe and happy!! About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I was responsible for walking the family dog when I was younger, volunteered at a shelter walking dogs every Saturday morning for 5 years, and have owned a dog myself for the last 20 years. My current dog, Bruce, and I are a registered therapy dog team, which required a lot of training and building of trust between us. He's a border collie (though he's slowed down in his old age) that needs his daily walks and play time. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone. You need to be able to trust them and I promise to take care of your dog with as much love and care as I take care of my own. I have 4 cats, so you pup MUST be good with cats. I work from home everyday so I am able to take care of potty breaks as needed and provide attention and playtime throughout the day. Building trust with an animal is etremely important. I am careful to keep an eye on body language so that I know when an animal wants more or less attention, needs to go for a walk, or needs to play. My own dog has been trained to walk on a loose leash by my side and does not pull. I've had plenty of experience walking shelter dogs who had no training though, so I can handle quite a bit. I regularly interact with my cats depending upon what type of interaction they want. I have two cats who love to play with toys on strings, and two other cats who prefer to be showered with pets. I am a believer that if you pay attention the animal will let you know what it's boundaries are.
About: I’ve taken care of variety of animals aside from cats/dogs including…birds, small mammals (mice, hamsters, rabbits), reptiles (lizards, turtles), fish, and more since I was about 10. I’ve handled them, feed them, and provided all necessary hygienic care. I have experience administering oral medication to animals. I also have experience providing injections to a diabetic cat. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pets! I'm available on weekends anytime, and weekdays after 5pm. So please contact me if it’s a good fit! I would prefer to care for your pet in the comfort and familiarity of your home or my apt either. I love to hang out and play, give lots of love and attention, go for nice long walks, and even go on adventures to the dog park to socialize if they’re down for it! I don’t mind providing baths or basic grooming, cleaning messes or litter boxes, or anything else your pet/home or my apt may need.
About: I’ve lived with pets my whole life. I have my own chihuahua mix(I’m no stranger to nervous or picky pups). She’s amazing. I rescued her when she was around 1 and she’s now about 7 years old. I also care for my fiancé’s family dog about once per week. He’s a large lab mix(a big sweetie). I’ve also pet sat(dogs and cats) several times over the years, including for two male beagles who love trying to escape. I have a pretty open schedule currently, so I am flexible with time!
