About: I've been taking care of and rescuing animals since I was a child with my grandmother. We always had all kinds of lovely creatures running around the house, including a baby raccoon that we rehabilitated and released back into the wild when it was ready to leave the nest! I have experience in caring for pets with special needs and administering meds as needed. I have love and respect for all animals as they are true family members, and I'm looking forward to creating a bond with yours! :) I have a part time job with shorter shifts that range from 3-5 hours a few times per week. About: I’ve lived with cats and dogs for my whole life, and have a lot of experience with them at all ages! I have primarily cared for medium-sized breeds, including a Siberian Husky and an Australian Shepherd mix. No matter the size or energy level of your pup, I’ll make sure they’re happy while I’m spending time with them! I spent several years volunteering with a Humane Society, which included spending a few hours a week with skiddish and sometimes reactive dogs at adoption events. I know how to adjust my energy level and behavior to make dogs comfortable, and am experienced in reading their body language. Whether you need me for drop-in visits or walks, I’ll be sure your furry friend is given all the attention during my visit! I’m a graduate student who is finished with classes, so I have a very flexible schedule! I offer drop-in visits and dog walking. Whatever time you need me to drop in I should be able to make work. The medication schedule had to be changed a couple of times due to some side effects my cat was having, and she took it in stride. I had a lot of anxiety leaving him, especially after he just got diagnosed with a thyroid disorder, but Michelle gave me updates after every visit, and was prompt in making sure he got his medication on time every day. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! About: I own a Husky mix named Prisma who is turning 3 this year. She is quite energic and also epileptic. She is my daily experience. However I have sat for dog a bit bigger and much smaller! This provides a lot of morning visits and overnight potential. Evening walks would works great as well. For specific requests, I can even dip into PTO to make the right situation work if a mid day visit is required during the work week. My Saturdays and Sundays are fully open at this time. I'm very patient and observant when interacting with pets of different personalities. Once informed on how you'd like your loved one to be cared for, I will do so in that manner. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
