About: I've had dogs since I was a kid. My wife works from home, and I've been a stay-at-home dad to our 2 daughters for the past 6 years. They will both be at school this year, and we'd like to host some dogs at our house during the daytime. We have a full acre, fenced in backyard. Our dog Sampson (90lb lab mix) loves to play and is really looking forward to having some buddies around. My wife and I are home during the week, with her working from home and me handling kids schedules. The kids are away at school for most of the day. We have an acre fenced in backyard for the dogs to play in. Our dog, Sampson, loves to play with other dogs. We can crate the dog as needed.

I had recently fallen and fractured my hip so I needed someone to walk my dog. She was very attentive to Lani, played with her and gave her plenty of loving. About: I didn’t grow up with dogs of my own but all my friends had dogs and some of my family did, too. I’ve been around Great Danes to little chihuahuas. I do take care of my best friends two dogs when she is working her 12 hour shifts which includes letting them out to potty, feeding them, giving treats and of course all the rubs and lovings. I currently work part time at a doctors office so my afternoons and evenings are very open. Doing care in the morning before work is also not an issue. I do start work at 7am, but I am happy to stay the night or get there early before my shift. I unfortunately would not be able to offer services in my home unless it was a caged or tanked animal because I do have 4 cats currently. One of my cats is absolutely terrified of dogs.

About: Ever since I can remember, i've always had pets in family. Taking care of them became part of my upbringing. I gained time management skills, how important enrichment and exercise is. Becoming responsible for daily routines and regular cleaning for healthy happy animals! I work 12pm to 6pm Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri so I am avaliable every morning and night and all day Wed for drop ins, walks and sittings. i feed all my pets on a schedule depending on their needs. routinely cleaning up after them, make sure they get their enrichment. brush them out daily during shedding season

About: I’ve lived with pets my whole life. I have my own chihuahua mix(I’m no stranger to nervous or picky pups). She’s amazing. I rescued her when she was around 1 and she’s now about 7 years old. I also care for my fiancé’s family dog about once per week. He’s a large lab mix(a big sweetie). I’ve also pet sat(dogs and cats) several times over the years, including for two male beagles who love trying to escape. I have a pretty open schedule currently, so I am flexible with time! About: Hi my name is Kate!! I am a college student looking to help out some sweet dogs. I am a long time dog lover. I have had dogs my entire life up until this last April when my yorkie poo passed away. I am looking to fill a hole in my life while helping out others. I'm here to make sure that your dogs feel safe and comfortable. I’ll give them cuddles, long walks, playtime, and whatever else is needed for them to have a great time!! I have experience with both senior dogs and puppies as well as those who need a little more care or have special regimens. I will walk them many times throughout the day however, I also have a fully fenced in yard ready to be played in!! As I am a college student on break I am almost always home as well as my dad who works from home. I am ready to accommodate all in order to ensure your dog is safe and happy!! About: A little bit about me, I am going on to my second year at MCC and after plan on joining the Air Force! I currently have a part time job at a restaurant but have gotten the unfortunate news that they will be shutting down my store so I am looking to have this as a part time job for now then hopefully transition it into a full time job. I have been taking care of animals since my early teenage years starting off with a close family friend and her 2 poodle mix’s. They would be dropped off at my house around 9:00 am and then get pick up at 6:00pm. I have bathed, cleaned, and even trained some dogs (simple commands). In addition, I have also taken care of multiple furry felines and have had many cats of my own so I am also quite familiar with their needs as well. I am wanting to soon be Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I have always been interested in pet-care I just didn’t know how to go about it until I found out about rover! I will be putting all my focus on pet-care as my full time job. Since I am just starting out I will only have weekday availability 11-9 and will only offer drop in’s and walk services Monday-Friday and house sitting Tuesday-Thursday. I have been around pets for a long time and feel I am able to pick up on signs if anything might be wrong with your furry friend.

About: Im used to being around different dogs my whole life I’ve had my own dog for three years. I’ve also taken care of dogs for my friends and family. Right now I am not working since and I’m only 18 so I’m available whenever you need me unless it’s when I’m busy and doing something. I care for my pets by having a lot of toys so if they want to play with there toys they can also I walk them so they get the exercise they need.

About: Hello, I grew up with pets my whole life, and I understand how much it matters to have a reliable and kind person to care for pets when you are unable to. I will do everything you ask to be done as I am respectful of the owner's wishes! I work part time - early in the mornings! I am always available by noon... and for the rest of the day! I look forward to being your sitter! I will do whatever the owner's wishes are! I can play with the pet, sit and cuddle the pet, take him/her outside, feed them, walk them, anything!

About: I enjoy being around dogs, as i have one of my own now, i had dogs growing up and they have always been a friend i needed. I’m always the person at the gathering that spends more time with the dog rather than people lol. I have wanted to become a veterinarian since a kid, although i grew out of that, i know my purpose is to work with the voiceless, animals. (although they have their own voice lol). I’m currently doing this for experience due to being in school full time/work. I plan on advancing my knowledge in animal behavior. I am currently working full time Friday-Sunday. I am free Monday/Thursday. Thursday is not open as a service because i am only available until 12pm. I am very aware of surroundings during dog walks and aware that dogs will be dogs. I’ve studied multiple breeds and i am one to know that some breeds react differently than others, such as my own dog. I think dogs are misunderstanding and people don’t realize they do not think like humans. It is not easy to trust someone with your furry loved one, trust your intuition. I treat others peoples pet like i would want mine to be treated, with respect, patience and love.

“Barbara has been a blessing to me and my golden retriever. My mom passed away about a month ago and she watched over the dog while I was at work so I was in a situation where if I couldn’t create a life for my dog during the hours I’m away from home I would have to think of giving her up and that would have been devastating. Barbara agreed to come out twice a day to take care of Cassidy and she has been the most dependable, caring, and compassionate person to my beloved dog. She was so patient with Cassidy, she was going through a big adjustment with the loss of my mom. Barbara truly spent a lot of time establishing a bond with her and slowly they have developed a nice routine of playing in the backyard. They relax in the sun, play ball and with all her toys. I am very thankful to Barbara for the dependability, her caring nature and the smile on my dog each day I come home let’s me know I chose the right service and the perfect person to care after my dog.
