About: A little bit about me, I am going on to my second year at MCC and after plan on joining the Air Force! I currently have a part time job at a restaurant but have gotten the unfortunate news that they will be shutting down my store so I am looking to have this as a part time job for now then hopefully transition it into a full time job. I have been taking care of animals since my early teenage years starting off with a close family friend and her 2 poodle mix’s. They would be dropped off at my house around 9:00 am and then get pick up at 6:00pm. I have bathed, cleaned, and even trained some dogs (simple commands). In addition, I have also taken care of multiple furry felines and have had many cats of my own so I am also quite familiar with their needs as well. I am wanting to soon be Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I have always been interested in pet-care I just didn’t know how to go about it until I found out about rover! I will be putting all my focus on pet-care as my full time job. Since I am just starting out I will only have weekday availability 11-9 and will only offer drop in’s and walk services Monday-Friday and house sitting Tuesday-Thursday. About: I had a cat for 20 years and cage aninals when i was young. I have owned a dog with anxiety so patience was key. He needed Medication for that and his hips. I own two cats and a hedgehog. My cats come to a whistle, know how to sit and lay down, go to their blanket where ever it is. My older cat is great in the car and the younger cat I am currently training. I cut their nails and bathe them myself. Both are leash trained. I handle my hedgehog daily so that he is well socialized. My cats never bothered the rats or the hedgehog when let out of the cages. They would sleep woth the dog when no one was home. I work 12 hour over night shifts for my regular job. I am looking for day time and, when off night time or overnight opertunities to fit my shifting schedule. I work in Macedon and live in West Henrietta so I am flexible with locations. I previously owned rats, a dog, leopard gecko, and other caged animals Cages, boxes, bowls and, other cage items are cleaned daily as well as deep cleaning every 4 to 5 days or as needed. There were two times that she canceled morning of and, with that late notice, I was not able to leave work or get anyone else to take him out.
