About: I’ve had pet dogs since I was a kid and I’ve always loved animals. I now have a pet cat and my part time job is being a Pet Care Tech, which I love doing. I’m working Monday to Thursday and I’ll be able to take care of your dogs or cats on Friday’s and weekends by walking them , playing with them , feeding them , and I can also give your dogs a basic wash if requested. As a pet care technician and cat owner, I understand how important it is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. 🐾 I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, and specific needs so I can provide care that works best for them. In my clients’ homes, I follow their instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, and giving pets plenty of attention and affection. About: I grew up with a great dane, and then my family adopted 3 dogs of different sizes after that. I’ve been surrounded by, and taken care of dogs my entire life growing up in Rochester. I have worked for local dog daycare and boarding facilities as well. My location provides a good place to socialize with other dogs as well if needed, just minutes from several parks and open land. A fIexible schedule allows me to work with people to meet their specific needs, and take the necessary time to be thorough. I enjoy the process of working with dogs and understanding their personality. I use positive reinforcement techniques to reward behavior and maximize dog comfort. I currently work afternoons, and am a night owl. I spend my mornings drinking coffee or walking dogs, and evenings helping friends with pet care who work late nights in health care, law enforcement, etc. While I cannot board dogs overnight in my apartment building, I have experience boarding within owners homes. I know the stress of finding a private care provider, and offer meet and greet beforehand to make sure pet parents feel at ease. I also provide normal drop in walking/care while owner is away.

About: A little bit about me, I am going on to my second year at MCC and after plan on joining the Air Force! I currently have a part time job at a restaurant but have gotten the unfortunate news that they will be shutting down my store so I am looking to have this as a part time job for now then hopefully transition it into a full time job. I have been taking care of animals since my early teenage years starting off with a close family friend and her 2 poodle mix’s. They would be dropped off at my house around 9:00 am and then get pick up at 6:00pm. I have bathed, cleaned, and even trained some dogs (simple commands). In addition, I have also taken care of multiple furry felines and have had many cats of my own so I am also quite familiar with their needs as well. I am wanting to soon be Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I have always been interested in pet-care I just didn’t know how to go about it until I found out about rover! I will be putting all my focus on pet-care as my full time job. Since I am just starting out I will only have weekday availability 11-9 and will only offer drop in’s and walk services Monday-Friday and house sitting Tuesday-Thursday. I have been around pets for a long time and feel I am able to pick up on signs if anything might be wrong with your furry friend.

About: I had dogs all my life, I love them!! I currently have a 11 years old weimaraner, which is in Spain with my parents, and a 5 years old Russian Toy, Harry. Harry is living with my bf and I in Rochester. He is 4.5lb and a super easy-going boy! So, I am used to all dog sizes, and I do pretty well with the high energy ones!! I'm a PhD student so I can scape from the lab anytime. I normally walk my dogs very early in the morning, at noon and at night. During the weekends I give them long walks. At my place my dogs have been always inside home and at their own. When they go out is always under my supervision. Since my dogs are well behaved and not destructive I've never used crates. If I take care of a dog that is not mine, I will listen the requirements from their humans to have a good care of their needs.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was 4 years old, and recently rescued a dog of my own. I began training and caring for her myself starting when she was 9 weeks old. I am very comfortable around dogs no matter what size. I have experience I with positive reinforcement training for puppies as well. I employed full time but my schedule varies based on the day. My weekends are usually very open, allowing me to provide services at almost any time on Saturdays and Sundays! I value positive reinforcement for dogs and will always put the safety and health of your dog first. I will care for the needs of your dog and make sure they are comfortable and happy.

About: A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, I'm currently a flutist with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra! I've been missing my spunky dog Kora who lives back home and have always grown up with dogs, which is why I've been a sitter for Rover since I moved here in 2021. Since then, I have done dog sittings, cat sittings, and even bird sittings! I love going for walks/runs, just hanging out, or curling up in the couch at home-- hopefully your dog loves some of these too! I've been taking care of dogs in total for around 15 years now, so I'm used to taking them out fairly frequently, getting up early for a morning walk, and bathing them. I am more than happy to take your dogs on a walk, or drop in and make sure they're well-fed and happy. I'm most experienced in home-care and will happily take care of your furry friends and house in whatever capacity you need! I've raised my dog Kora from puppyhood and am very familiar with the training required for puppies and dogs with reactivity. I have also fostered a handful of dogs (small dogs and large dogs alike) over the last few years and have experienced shy dogs who take some time to come out of their shells :) As a musician, I have a few hours here and there scattered throughout my day that I can walk or stop by/watch your pup. I'm a very active person and love being outside! I am more than happy to be outside/in your home with them as well! I unfortunately cannot house your furry friends because of my housing situation.

About: I've been a foster and pet sitter for mostly greyhounds for the past 20 years, and have always had dogs of my own. I've gone through obedience classes and grooming, and am pretty good with most temperaments. I am very available and flexible, since I'm retired. I can come by during the day, including weekends and holidays, whatever works for you and your pet. Please note that I accept in-home stays that are a minimum of two nights. I can come to your home and stay, or visit to let your dog out, walk, or feed. Safety is a big factor and I'll do my best!

About: I love dogs! I've had dogs since I was a kid, so basically have been around them and taking care of them for my whole life. Can do long walks with them and keep them safe and happy. I am good with nail trims and baths as well! My schedule is pretty open. I have a car as well, so getting there wont be an issue. I work at wegmans part time, so i have plenty of free time! I have a little dog and a bearded dragon. Both house trained (yes the dragon poops in the yard lol) i usually walk dogs 3-5 times a day depending on how often they wanna go. I keep nails trimmed and stuff myself as well. I make sure to keep the living space clean and safe for them. They're my family pretty much haha

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals and would care for your furry family members as if they were my own. I grew up with both large and small dogs, from Shih Tzus to Rottweilers, and now have Huskies of my own. I’ve also grown up with cats and currently have a Maine Coon. My love for animals extends beyond dogs and cats—I also have a saltwater aquarium that brings me so much joy, and I’ve had a passion for wildlife and all kinds of animals from a young age. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and getting to know their unique personalities. I’d love the opportunity to help care for your pets and give them the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I’m happy to help in any way I can! I work nights, so I have plenty of availability every morning and afternoon. I’d love to use that free time to care for and spend time with animals who need a little extra love and attention while their families are away. If you have a fenced-in yard, I’d love to let your pups run around, play fetch, and get all those zoomies out! We can also go for walks, enjoy some sunshine, or simply spend some quality time playing and relaxing together. My goal is to make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and fun while they’re in my care!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I have been raised around dogs since I was 4 years old. I do have dogs as well. I do watch my family and friends dogs. They have relied on me to bath, feed, walk, and groom their dogs. I currently do work as a caregiver from 4pm-11pm and at home for the rest of the time. My husband does not work, so someone is always with the dogs. I do live in a town home with a 6 foot fence for the back/patio. Any dog in my home will always be welcomed on couches and beds. I do have cages for my dogs and would prefer for owner to bring one for boarding. I only use the cages for feeding and timeouts. Majority of the time the cages are open if they wanted to lay in them.
