I regularly babysit my boyfriends puppy and have a dog and 2 cats, and before that I had a golden retriever who unfortunately passed away from old age several years ago. About: I had a cat for 20 years and cage aninals when i was young. I have owned a dog with anxiety so patience was key. He needed Medication for that and his hips. I own two cats and a hedgehog. My cats come to a whistle, know how to sit and lay down, go to their blanket where ever it is. My older cat is great in the car and the younger cat I am currently training. I cut their nails and bathe them myself. Both are leash trained. I handle my hedgehog daily so that he is well socialized. My cats never bothered the rats or the hedgehog when let out of the cages. They have relied on me to bath, feed, walk, and groom their dogs. I currently do work as a caregiver from 4pm-11pm and at home for the rest of the time. My husband does not work, so someone is always with the dogs. I do live in a town home with a 6 foot fence for the back/patio. Any dog in my home will always be welcomed on couches and beds. I do have cages for my dogs and would prefer for owner to bring one for boarding. I only use the cages for feeding and timeouts. Majority of the time the cages are open if they wanted to lay in them.
