“I have a 2 1/5 great dane who suffers separation anxiety. I am so very glad that she was under Joey's care! I didn't worry about her, not even once on my 11 day trip in Europe. We had a meet & greet at my house prior to his stay. I had my son come up to get a second opinion. At first I thought oh no, both my son & I thought Joey would be good to stay & watch my girl. When Joey said even though he was willing to watch he didn't think it was going to be a good fit. Both my son & myself explained that she has to check out new people from a distance & on her own terms, she just needs feel safe. About: Since I was little, I have taken care of pets and cats. I watched the pets of my friends, my family, and others. I played with them and took them for walks. When someone needs a babysitter, I would be thrilled to help. Since I have no plans, I can be fairly flexible with my schedule. If you need me at the last minute, I'll be there. I’m pretty available. I always make sure there is adequate room for the dog to play around. When there is another dog nearby, I prefer to keep the leash on for safety. Give the dog enough room and don't surround them with too much stuff to prevent damage.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 18. My Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I work remote so have a free schedule to play with my dog and yours 24/7. Which I enjoy doing more than anything else :) I have a safe neighbor hood and live with my parents for the time being. Right now I am not working since and I’m only 18 so I’m available whenever you need me unless it’s when I’m busy and doing something. My husband Nate works at a local school and gets home early, so one (and often both) of us is home throughout the day. We help dogs get comfortable using our dog door so they can go in and out freely and keep their usual routine. We’ve worked with puppies as well and can help reinforce things like potty training, crate time, and settling into a new environment. We keep things relaxed and typically have up to 3 dogs at a time, so every dog has space to feel comfortable. We do a quick meet & greet beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. Our setup works best for small to medium dogs. We have a fully fenced yard with a custom-built dog door, plus added safety features like anti-dig guards and front porch fencing for extra peace of mind. We also have cameras covering the backyard and main dog areas so we can keep a close eye on everyone. Inside, things are clean, cozy, and dog-safe, with floors and common areas kept clear so dogs don’t get into anything they shouldn’t.
