Additionally, I have also raised two dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. We had to say goodbye to our beloved, old shitzu this past year. I live with my girlfriend who is a veterinary technician with over 15 years of experience. Ours is a loving home, with a large, securely fenced yard. Our top priority is to keep your dog safe, feeling comfortable, and relaxed, just as they would be in their own home. I offer boarding, walks, in home visits, and more. I am comfortable giving meds, preparing special diets, and caring for puppies as well as seniors. I used to train and show dogs when I was younger, and can help get your puppy off on the right foot with house training. Dog sitting is my only job, and my flexible schedule revolves around that. I can be available at any reasonable time for pick-up and drop off appointments. I'm home almost all of the time to be with the dogs, only leaving to run brief errands when necessary. All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.

One of our Persians, Sweetie, was especially close to me. She passed away a few years ago, and losing her truly broke my heart—she was with me for so long and gave me so many wonderful memories. I also spend a lot of time with my family’s dogs—a brown Labrador, a German Shorthaired Pointer, and a pair of Boston Terriers—and I always make sure to play with them whenever we’re together.
