Hi there! We’re Gigi & Nate! I work from home full-time, and together we only take a few dogs at a time, so every pup gets lots of attention in a comfortable, home environment🤍 We carry our own private pet care insurance (not just Rover’s standard protection). We also keep a consistent routine so everything feels easy for the dogs. We care for every dog together as a team. My husband Nate works at a local school and gets home early, so one (and often both) of us is home throughout the day. We help dogs get comfortable using our dog door so they can go in and out freely and keep their usual routine. We’ve worked with puppies as well and can help reinforce things like potty training, crate time, and settling into a new environment. We keep things relaxed and typically have up to 3 dogs at a time, so every dog has space to feel comfortable. We do a quick meet & greet beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. Our setup works best for small to medium dogs. We have a fully fenced yard with a custom-built dog door, plus added safety features like anti-dig guards and front porch fencing for extra peace of mind. We also have cameras covering the backyard and main dog areas so we can keep a close eye on everyone. Inside, things are clean, cozy, and dog-safe, with floors and common areas kept clear so dogs don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. There’s also a fully enclosed indoor play area if separation is ever needed. ⸻ 🐾 Your pup will enjoy: – Small group – 24/7 dog door access to fenced backyard (fresh water always available) – Clean, dog-safe spaces (no kitchen access) – Separated during feeding to avoid conflicts – Daily walks or runs in a quiet neighborhood – Photo/video updates – Plenty of playtime and supervision (Healthy snacks like yogurt, berries, or pumpkin if you’re okay with it 😊) ⸻ We’re located right off the highway—Rochester’s last exit before Buffalo/Canada, only about 10 minutes from ROC Airport. I’m always quick to respond, and can be flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. We do ask for booking at least a week in advance so we can schedule a quick meet & greet 🤍

Gigi is so sweet. She took really good care of Kalex and made us feel at ease that he was in her care. Gigi provided us with updates. You can tell she really cares and loves dogs.

Gigi and Nate are the best sitters we’ve used! I always feel very safe booking Kiki with them:D I love their set up, Nate had built really cool fences around their house that make me feel very secure leaving Kiki with them. They even make sure Kiki can’t get into anything dangerous by giving him his own part of the house to play in. Their yard is a little dog heaven, and he is always tuckered out when we pick him up, from all the playing. We always grateful to have Gigi and Nate watch him!

Summit had a great vacation at Gigi's house. He enjoyed his time with the resident pups and was thoroughly exhausted when we picked him up. Gigi was understanding regarding our crate-training concerns and offered the alternative of using a dog pen for his sleeping quarters. However, our pup was so tired from playing with the other pups that he slept soundly in his own crate! We would absolutely use Gigi in the future!

Tobin had fun playing with the other dogs and Gigi was very friendly and detail oriented! Thanks!

Gigi and Nate took such great care of Kobe again, he’s quite high energy so I know he has plenty of room to run it out in their spacious backyard, and since last we saw them noticed Nate had raised and angled their fence a bit so we know he’s less focused on getting out, something he’s always curious about. Nate and Gigi are always improving their place in ways like this which really shows me they care and love our dog, and all the dogs they watch. I know he can’t wait to go back and play with his friends Kiki and Oatly. Thanks again!

We chose GiGi specifically because she advertised a work-from-home environment, frequent updates, and attentive care. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite. Most importantly, our dog, Rio, came home safe after spending 4 nights and 5 days in the care of GiGi and Nate. However, we felt deeply misled about the level of care and communication we would receive. We were told GiGi worked from home and would be present with the dogs throughout the work days; that she was out of town the night of the meet and greet but Nate knew all things to go over as "they care for the dogs together", but based on the lack of communication and her inconsistent explanations, we seriously question how involved she was during Rio's stay, or whether she was present at all. It should be noted my partner and I never actually met GiGi in person. We received zero unprompted updates from either GiGi or Nate (and never given his number at any time other than at time of payment) and had to initiate every check-in ourselves. Messages often went unanswered for hours, sometimes most of the day, and we even had to request photos of Rio in order to receive any at all. This was quite different from the proactive communication her profile advertises. Adding to our concerns, when looking at the details of the pictures they did send to us, almost all of the photos we received appear to have been taken on the previous days he was in their care, not when they actually sent them. When asked about this, GiGi's was dismissive and chalked it up to wanting to get "the best shot of the dogs" to send, yet she hadn't sent a single one on her own. Even more troubling, Rio escaped their yard despite our being completely upfront that he can jump fences. To help manage that risk, we shared access to his GPS tracking collar, but GiGi never accepted the invitation, even after he got out. When we later raised that concern, it went entirely unaddressed. The one positive aspect of this experience was Nate, who was warm, welcoming, and seemed genuinely good with Rio. That said, an interaction at pickup struck us as odd. GiGi instructed us to pay Nate via Venmo rather than her, despite appearing to have an active Venmo account herself. When I mentioned this to Nate, he seemed surprised, stepped away to make a phone call out of earshot, and then returned with his payment information. While this may have been completely innocent, combined with the fact that we had never met or spoken with GiGi directly, it only added to our unease. When I later asked GiGi whether she had actually been present during Rio's stay, her responses were vague and dismissive. She repeatedly stated that both she and Nate care for the dogs and that she works during the day, which she cited as the reason for her delayed responses. This directly contradicted the work-from-home supervision and proactive communication that led us to choose her in the first place. Overall, Rio was thankfully safe and appeared unharmed, but this experience was so stressful, disappointing, and nowhere near the level of service that was advertised. We chose GiGi based on promises of attentive supervision, transparency, and regular communication, and those promises were not reflected in our experience whatsoever. If those qualities are important to you when choosing someone to care for your pet when you can't be there, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Anywhere else. Anywhere.

A typical day
A typical day includes outdoor time, play, and plenty of downtime to relax. For dogs who enjoy it, we may include light walks or activity, but we keep the overall routine calm and balanced. The rest of the day is a mix of play, lounging, and time in the yard. I’m home throughout the day, so dogs get regular potty breaks, consistent attention, and a steady routine to help them settle in comfortably.
