About: Since I was little, I have taken care of pets and cats. I watched the pets of my friends, my family, and others. I played with them and took them for walks. When someone needs a babysitter, I would be thrilled to help. Since I have no plans, I can be fairly flexible with my schedule. If you need me at the last minute, I'll be there. I’m pretty available. I always make sure there is adequate room for the dog to play around. When there is another dog nearby, I prefer to keep the leash on for safety. Give the dog enough room and don't surround them with too much stuff to prevent damage.

All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.

I have included photos of my home (and the excessive amount of dog toys we own) in my profile. Several of the rooms in my house are dedicated to doggy activities/enrichment and I also have a fenced in yard. I have also made sure that my set up allows me to separate dogs from each other if they ever get over stimulated -- I have enough rooms where each dog can be in their own room. I also have a doggy door so most days when the weather is not atrocious the dogs can relieve themselves/play as they please. Also my sun room is dedicated to dog care so if need be I can gate off/separate pooches that get too worked up (or just need privacy eating). I do have two crates — one for super small dogs and the other for dogs up to 35 lbs. My dog is crate trained but prefers free range so I have dog beds in every single room. Dogs are welcome on furniture but please make sure they have been recently bathed (within a few days before) if you are boarding as we keep our home extremely clean (the carpets get washed every month and vacuum and swiffering are done daily). We are probably not a good fit if your dog does not get along with other dogs, because my dog is still young and very energetic. If your dog does not like to play but does not react aggressively to other dogs attempting to initiate play, Momo would be fine as he does eventually give up if the other dog does not engage him at all. When we schedule a meet and greet, you can expect to meet us outside the front yard for a couple block long walk together before going to the backyard to let the pooches sniff each other out. Since Momo is a chow-mix, he is protective by nature and does not like it if other fur-babies he does not know well try to jump on his mom so I will likely only greet your baby after I put him back in the house.
About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! About: Hi, my name is Lindsay and I’m an animal lover through and through. I grew up in a cat‑loving family with the most adorable tabby and Persian cats. One of our Persians, Sweetie, was especially close to me. She passed away a few years ago, and losing her truly broke my heart—she was with me for so long and gave me so many wonderful memories. I also spend a lot of time with my family’s dogs—a brown Labrador, a German Shorthaired Pointer, and a pair of Boston Terriers—and I always make sure to play with them whenever we’re together. Back in high school, my mom, sister, and I volunteered at our local humane society. We cleaned kennels and litter boxes, played with the animals, and gave them the affection and company they needed. About: I’ve my little bestie since I was six years old sadly I moved away from my family and I do not live with any of my dogs anymore. Her name is Lola (a dachshund ) she came to make my life full of happiness when I was 6 years old.I could not image my life without her, after a couple of years we got Lola a sister Penny she’s a mixed dachshund and doberman and two years ago we got the third one Camila another dachshund. Lola is a senior dog now she’s about to have 20 years old with us, thanks to my three dogs I know how to take care of a puppy or young dog like Camila who is 1 year old, mid-age like Penny who is 5 years old and senior like Lola. Animals in general mean the world to me it breaks my heart and horrifies me how wrong humans can be to those who would give their life for us. I’m very active love going for walks, and would love to have furry friend company to spend my day or a couple if need. I’m currently a designer college student about to graduate I have a flexible schedule and live very close to my classes so I will be home most of the time. I live in a house with a really big backyard, I have a cat called Arlo that lives with me, he’s very friendly and easy going. My classes are mixed so I have at least 2 hours between each and I end my days around 2:00 pm with the break between. About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over,paw, other paw,high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). I also dog sat for my boyfriend's coworker who had an older pointer who had a seziure not only did I comfort the dog but I called owner asap then vet, I then called off of work. Just because it's not my animal doesn't mean I will love them any less. But the take away from all that is I have a lot of experience in the animal department. I'm currently working part time and have a lot of free time on my hands and love being around animals . I only work wensday-saturday the other days I'm free. But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.

About: Whether it’s potty-training the family dog or teaching a hunting dog to retrieve, I’ve been around them for pretty much my whole life. I currently travel for work so it’s just kitty and me for now, but I love helping whomever I can to take the best care possible of their furry family! About: I have had pets since I was a kid. I had dogs, cats, birds, fish, lizards, Guinea pigs. I currently have a husky now. I have a big heart for animals. I will help take care of any dog/cat. I am available after 3pm weekdays due to work and all day on weekends. If I can’t come for whatever reason, such my son being sick or an appointment, my boyfriend is able too. My dog is crate trained and he goes on walks daily. I will be able to take your dog out on walks and let them run in the backyard, if you have a fenced in yard. I will feed them and play with them and keep them stimulated.

About: I enjoyed taking care of other pets, I can’t have my own pet as I travel once a month I take care of my daughters 4 cats and 2 dogs often, and my friends 2 deaf dogs quite often I work at RIT, prefer to take care of pets near RIT , off Bailey Rd/Lehigh/East River area All my life, I always have dog and/or cat until 4 years ago. I miss having dog and cat. Taking care of other people s dog and/or cat gives me that joy! I have took care of various kind of dogs pit bull, lab, jack Russell , beagles, etc I am a very flexible person, cancellations will not be a problem & I am also a very reliable person. 😊 I take them for walk in the morning, afternoon, and after dinner. I also take them to backyard, to let them run! I do play with them. I like to make them feel at home while they are here I have no pets, have full fence! “Julia was great with Diamond. She made my pup feel at ease during her walks. Julia communicates well and is very responsive to questions or doubts you might have. She kept me informed during every walk and sent many photos and videos. She's also flexible with her schedule, I had to move diamond's walking times about a half hour and Julia was totally fine with it. Very responsible young lady. About: Hi there! My name has since changed to *Romeo* as I am queer :) Ive had experience with all sorts of animals since I was a young! My heart however has always lied with dogs. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! I’m very relaxed, quiet, and easygoing, but also spontaneous and go-with-the-flow should your dog get the zoomies! I live with my girlfriend who is a veterinary technician with over 15 years of experience. Ours is a loving home, with a large, securely fenced yard. Our top priority is to keep your dog safe, feeling comfortable, and relaxed, just as they would be in their own home. I offer boarding, walks, in home visits, and more. I am comfortable giving meds, preparing special diets, and caring for puppies as well as seniors. I used to train and show dogs when I was younger, and can help get your puppy off on the right foot with house training. Dog sitting is my only job, and my flexible schedule revolves around that. I can be available at any reasonable time for pick-up and drop off appointments. I'm home almost all of the time to be with the dogs, only leaving to run brief errands when necessary. All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.

“Remi is an anxious dog, but after this boarding experience, I noticed a big difference. He was much calmer when I picked him up, and it did not take him days to de stress like usual. When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”

About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. I work part time, only 3-5 hours a day at a shop a few minutes from my house. Other than work and quick errands from time to time I’m home full time otherwise! I have a huge backyard that is not fenced in, however your pet would have full on leash supervised access to the yard! I have an older cat who gets along very well with other animals.
