About: I grew up around animals. I have taken care of my own dogs, cats, rabbits and fish throughout my life. I have also taken care of friends pets when they’ve gone out of town. I am comfortable with large and small dogs, cats, and caged animals. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time for your pets. I have a 4yr old who is comfortable around animals and I am available for boarding if your animal is comfortable with men, women, and children. I live on a quiet street in an apartment and look forward to walking with your dog at my home or yours. I am comfortable working with multiple kinds of collars and leashes.
“We left our two small dogs with Alex for a three day weekend. This is the first time our dogs have not been with us and without any exaggeration, we could not have hoped for a better experience! One of our dogs has separation anxiety issues. Within a short time of being left there Alex had him relaxed and having fun playing and feeling comfortable in his unknown surroundings. We did leave both of them with Alex for a short three hour dog sitting session a few days before so it wasn’t totally unknown, this may have helped a bit. But Alex is a bit of a dog whisperer himself, and is very in tune to the dogs condition and needs. They gave us wonderful updates with videos and photos, as well as texts, keeping us up-to-date on what activities the dogs were involved with at the time. Which was very reassuring. They provide a wonderful environment for the animals.”

Additionally, I have also raised two dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. We had to say goodbye to our beloved, old shitzu this past year. Our kids (12,10, and 5) are really missing having a dog around and we thought this would be a great next step for our family. Feel free to reach out with any questions! Oh boy where do I begin?! It was hard looking for a service or individual that I actually felt I could trust with my fur baby. I was anxious during the process then I stumbled upon Debbie. We set up a meet and greet and minutes into the meeting I knew I had found our new dog sitter. Her home is warm and welcoming, she was warm and welcoming and I could tell that she was a genuine dog lover. I expressed my concerns about leaving him in general and she assured me that she would take such great care of my baby.
