Before dog watching, it's essential to gather key information that ensures the well-being and happiness of the dog in your care. First and foremost, understanding the dog's health status, including any medical conditions, allergies, or medications they require, is crucial when coming into a new home. It is important to have a good understanding of the animals daily routine, such as feeding schedules, portion sizes, and exercise needs, helps maintain their routine and keeps them comfortable. Learning about their behavior traits, like their temperament around strangers or other dogs, aids in anticipating their reactions and providing appropriate social interactions. Knowing their training background, preferred commands, and any specific behaviors they may exhibit, such as separation anxiety or favorite toys, allows you to create a safe and enjoyable environment tailored to their needs. Lastly, being aware of any special comforts or preferences they have, from favorite spots to sleep to preferred treats, helps in providing a reassuring and positive experience during your time with them.
A typical day
Watching pets offers an opportunity for engaging activities that keep them entertained and happy. From lively play sessions involving fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with treats to leisurely walks exploring new surroundings, there's plenty to do. Training sessions not only sharpen their skills but also strengthen the bond between pet and sitter. Cuddling and grooming sessions provide comforting moments, fostering trust and affection. By tailoring activities to suit their personalities and preferences, pet sitters ensure a rewarding and enjoyable time for the pets under their care.

Huge animal lover!
Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Julia, I’ve taken care of animals for about 6 years and I have had pets my whole life. I currently have 3 dogs, 1 is 6 years old and the 2 others are 3 year old! Growing up I had a dog and a cat as well. I love all animals and care for each of them like they are my own.
Reviews

I'm really pleased with how professional Julia is. Last minute to schedule and she helped me out. Highly recommend her!

Just knew I could be rest assured that Julia would take care of my girls and home! I came home and my girls were so chill that they didn’t bark or act anxious at all! Thanks to Julia!
Julia has watched my cat numerous times. She always gives him attention and love, plays with him, and makes sure he is fed and watered. Highly recommend!
