My family has had dogs in our home since I was born. Growing up, I learned that taking care of a dog is a huge responsibility. I grew up with a Pug named Boomer and a German Shepherd named Kobe. We currently have a 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Molly, and a 14 year old Rat Terrier, Rooney. I have lots of experience with escape artists, as Molly is always looking for a way out of the house. I am used to opening doors carefully, as well as securing collars and harnesses so they are escape-proof! I also have experience taking care of dogs post-surgery. Both Molly and Rooney have had multiple surgeries that required us to give them pills for days to weeks after the operation. In the past I have stayed up all night to make sure they did not experience any major post-surgery side effects. I have cared for over 130 pets since becoming a Rover Sitter and am well-versed in pet care best practices. I am extremely attentive and prioritize the health and safety of any dog under my care. I also accept cats! I do not currently have any cats of my own, but I have had both indoor and outdoor cats in the past. I am happy to accept cats, whether they are indoor, outdoor, or both! I have experience caring for cats of all personalities, including those who are unfriendly or more independent.

I understand how much trust my clients put in me to treat their homes and pets with respect. I’m truly grateful for this trust and do my very best to strengthen it. I will give you the same service that I would expect as the client. I follow instructions carefully and take safety precautions to provide worry-free care. The safety of your pet is always my number one priority. I am very attentive and actively spend time with the dogs I look after. I maintain an open line of communication for easy check-ins and provide frequent updates. I also send lots of pictures!! I believe an owner can tell how their pet is doing by their facial expressions and body language. My goal is to make you as the owner feel more comfortable and confident in the care your dog is receiving through these pictures.

Schedule
I was a full-time Rover sitter for 2 years throughout nursing school, and now I am a full-time night shift RN still caring for pets part-time! I can provide nighttime drop-ins at all hours, as long as I am off from work that night. Even if my calendar shows I am unavailable, feel free to reach out anyway. I am able to accept cat care requests any day of the week if timing can be flexible. I’m happy to try to make things work!

- Before confirming a booking, I prefer to have a good understanding of your dog’s personality and needs. I’ll need to know if your dog is an escape artist as well as his/her energy level. Please also let me know if your dog needs any medications or other special care. Anything you can tell me to get a better idea of who your dog is will help a lot! I don’t really have any “dealbreakers", however I prefer pups who are potty trained and friendly! For cats, I will need to know his/her energy level and indoor/outdoor status. Please let me know if your cat will require medication or other special care while you are away. I will also need to know your cat’s personality so I can provide appropriate care! ** For the health and safety of your pet and all pets I care for, please ensure your furry friend(s) stay up to date on flea & tick treatment.
