About: My love for pet care started about 8 years ago when I began raising and training future guide dogs. Since then, I’ve raised two dogs from puppyhood, giving me lots of hands on experience with puppy training, socialization, routines, basic commands, and caring for dogs through different stages of life. Over the years, I’ve also dog sat and house sat countless times for friends, family, and others. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with all different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or prefers relaxing and getting lots of attention, I’m happy to adjust to what makes them most comfortable. Most importantly, I know how much trust goes into leaving your dog and home in someone else’s care. I’ll treat your pup like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! *Please note pets that are used to being alone for a standard 8-5 work day schedule are best suited for my house sitting services!* I work four days a week, but am available before and after work on those days. Wednesdays and weekends offer me more flexibility for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and spending extra time with your pets. I’m always happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet’s normal routine and keeps them comfortable while you’re away! NOTE: My availability is only secured by payments made for a booking, not by request date or Meet & Greet date. I provide all pet care in my clients’ homes, where pets can stay comfortable in their own familiar environment. I do my best to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications if needed, and of course plenty of attention and love! I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I’m happy to adjust my care accordingly, whether that means lots of walks and playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply giving a more independent pet their space. I also take great care to respect your home, keep things clean and tidy, and make sure both your pets and your home are well cared for while you’re away.
About: I have a large home with a large back yard, great neighbors with great pets of their own to play with. We recently lost our dog so we have some extra space in our hearts and home. I am currently working from home and would love some company while doing so. Come join me ***Please Note: All care will be given by me only. Other members of the house may play only I currently only have cats that will completely ignore any dogs coming in. I would take directions from you on how your fur baby likes to be cared for. About: Hello all! My name is Emily. I’ve been a dog lover my entire life. When I was 9 years old we got our family dog (a Havanese) and 6 years ago I adopted my soul dog petunia rose (pitbull). I sadly lost petunia in July to cancer and helped her daily for the last 6 months. I miss being around a smiley, happy, energetic dog but also found peace In helping animals who need a little more care and kindness. If you are looking for a walker, a sitter for the day, someone to administer meds, or just sit with and give some love while you’re at work, I'm your girl. I know how protective of my soul dog I was and I understand that trust is needed when going into someone’s home and watching their baby. I can assure you that I am a trust worthy, respectful and loving person who will treat your animal as if it were my own. I can’t wait to see all the fluffy babies I get to meet! I currently work full time Monday through Friday. Tuesday and Thursdays I work from Buffalo and Monday, Wednesday, Friday I work from home. I would be available MWF after 4pm and T/TH after 630. I’m free all day on Saturdays and Sundays! I make sure to ask questions and follow directions that are left by the owner carefully. I only go into rooms I am allowed and only touch items that are a part of caring for your animal. Your home is your home and I am only there to do a job of watching after your child! I will only feed your dog what I am told to, and respect all boundaries.

I have grown up around all types of animals from cats to dogs, birds, reptiles and fish, even raising a puppy. The main animals I grew up around were both cats and dogs. I presently only have two small caged cockatiel birds and am able to move them anywhere in the house if needed to provide more space or comfort for your pets. I make sure they do not interact with other animals outside of my home and the animals I do have in my home are small and caged in a separate room where the door is always closed. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
