About: Hello all! My name is Emily. I’ve been a dog lover my entire life. When I was 9 years old we got our family dog (a Havanese) and 6 years ago I adopted my soul dog petunia rose (pitbull). I sadly lost petunia in July to cancer and helped her daily for the last 6 months. I miss being around a smiley, happy, energetic dog but also found peace In helping animals who need a little more care and kindness. If you are looking for a walker, a sitter for the day, someone to administer meds, or just sit with and give some love while you’re at work, I'm your girl. I know how protective of my soul dog I was and I understand that trust is needed when going into someone’s home and watching their baby. I can assure you that I am a trust worthy, respectful and loving person who will treat your animal as if it were my own. I can’t wait to see all the fluffy babies I get to meet! I currently work full time Monday through Friday. Tuesday and Thursdays I work from Buffalo and Monday, Wednesday, Friday I work from home. I would be available MWF after 4pm and T/TH after 630. I’m free all day on Saturdays and Sundays! I make sure to ask questions and follow directions that are left by the owner carefully. I only go into rooms I am allowed and only touch items that are a part of caring for your animal. Your home is your home and I am only there to do a job of watching after your child! About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! I currently have a senior cat named Barney and a recently adopted orange cat of around 7 years old named Westley. They have bonded very nicely despite Barney being set in his ways. About: I have been walking dogs for over 10 years as neighbors had me walk their dogs when I was young. I house and dog sit for my family. I volunteered with a rescue for two years and currently foster for a rescue that I’ve been with for about 4-5 years. I work 8-5 every weekday. I’m good at giving animals space when i know they’re scared or nervous and really make sure I earn an animals trust. I have a beautiful 2 year old baby girl. There is a chance she would be with me for walks and drop ins depending on what day of the week it is. If your pet has any habits or preferences i would like to know them (how they’re fed, favorite toy, favorite place to be pet or scratched). I work full time but have a 10 month old pitty mix at home. I’m home by 5pm every day and leave between 8/9am depending on if I have my daughter or if she’s with her dad. I have a pup of my own we live in an apartment but we go on daily walks. We like using a harness over just a collar because we don’t want to risk him slipping out of it.

About: PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL ANIMALS ARE KID FRIENDLY. I HAVE TWO CHILDREN AGES 9 AND 11 ! My name is Alexandra and am currently located in Rochester/Irondequoit area. I have grown up around all types of animals from cats to dogs, birds, reptiles and fish, even raising a puppy. The main animals I grew up around were both cats and dogs. In my past I have worked at an animal store and had some experience as a pet sitter also. I live with my daughter who is well behaved and also an animal lover. I presently only have two small caged cockatiel birds and am able to move them anywhere in the house if needed to provide more space or comfort for your pets. I am willing to work with other certain types of animals if interested please don’t hesitate to ask. I look forward to working together and meeting all of your animals! I am available Monday to Sunday and some holidays morning to night time (flexible schedule) and willing to work with you for extended times or days I provide a calm and quiet environment. My neighborhood is also quiet and calm when taken outside for walks or to go to the bathroom. I make sure they do not interact with other animals outside of my home and the animals I do have in my home are small and caged in a separate room where the door is always closed. I do not have any other dogs or cats and I do not board from different people at the same time.

There were two times that she canceled morning of and, with that late notice, I was not able to leave work or get anyone else to take him out. About: i have experience with big, medium, small and mini size dogs. i have stayed at multiple clients houses overnight, cared for dogs in my home and have experience handling dogs of all ages and energy levels. i enjoy taking pictures of your pups and providing an extra sense of security while you’re away! i work locally and have flexibility to take care of your pups throughout the day as well as taking walks, giving baths, play time etc. i have experience providing medications to all sized dogs as well as accommodating their needs based on age and energy levels. i have also stayed in client’s houses and have adapted to different schedules based on what the dog is used to. i do have a 1 and a half year old lab and bernese mix but he is very friendly and loves to play with other pups!!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. We have always had at least one dog in the house if not more. In the past 6 years I have helped my parents to puppy train twice. I love dogs unconditionally, but I am not afraid to show a little tough love when needed. I’m currently going back to school and attend a lot of local sporting events but I still make it a priority to take my dog for a walk daily. Whether we fit in a walk before I leave in the morning or in-between class and a game, I know how much she loves her walks. I also make sure to give her ample play time when I am home. I make sure that whether the pet is in a fenced in yard or not I am always keeping an eye on them when outside. I always respect the clients wishes regarding their animal being on furniture, in what rooms, and such on.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I was responsible for walking the family dog when I was younger, volunteered at a shelter walking dogs every Saturday morning for 5 years, and have owned a dog myself for the last 20 years. My current dog, Bruce, and I are a registered therapy dog team, which required a lot of training and building of trust between us. He's a border collie (though he's slowed down in his old age) that needs his daily walks and play time. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone. You need to be able to trust them and I promise to take care of your dog with as much love and care as I take care of my own. I have 4 cats, so you pup MUST be good with cats. I work from home everyday so I am able to take care of potty breaks as needed and provide attention and playtime throughout the day. Building trust with an animal is etremely important. I am careful to keep an eye on body language so that I know when an animal wants more or less attention, needs to go for a walk, or needs to play. My own dog has been trained to walk on a loose leash by my side and does not pull. I've had plenty of experience walking shelter dogs who had no training though, so I can handle quite a bit. I regularly interact with my cats depending upon what type of interaction they want. I have two cats who love to play with toys on strings, and two other cats who prefer to be showered with pets. I am a believer that if you pay attention the animal will let you know what it's boundaries are.
