I have several years of pet-sitting experience caring for both large and small dogs, as well as cats. There were two times that she canceled morning of and, with that late notice, I was not able to leave work or get anyone else to take him out. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I was responsible for walking the family dog when I was younger, volunteered at a shelter walking dogs every Saturday morning for 5 years, and have owned a dog myself for the last 20 years. My current dog, Bruce, and I are a registered therapy dog team, which required a lot of training and building of trust between us. He's a border collie (though he's slowed down in his old age) that needs his daily walks and play time. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone. You need to be able to trust them and I promise to take care of your dog with as much love and care as I take care of my own. I have 4 cats, so you pup MUST be good with cats. I work from home everyday so I am able to take care of potty breaks as needed and provide attention and playtime throughout the day. Building trust with an animal is etremely important. I am careful to keep an eye on body language so that I know when an animal wants more or less attention, needs to go for a walk, or needs to play. My own dog has been trained to walk on a loose leash by my side and does not pull. I've had plenty of experience walking shelter dogs who had no training though, so I can handle quite a bit. I regularly interact with my cats depending upon what type of interaction they want. I have two cats who love to play with toys on strings, and two other cats who prefer to be showered with pets. I am a believer that if you pay attention the animal will let you know what it's boundaries are.

About: I’ve taken care of my family’s dogs since I was a pre-teen. My siblings rely on me for their dog-care when they go out of town. I love taking mine and my siblings’s dogs on walks whenever I can! I have experience from puppies to older dogs. I’m currently working part-time while I’m in grad school, so I have plenty availability most afternoons. I love to walk my own dogs as a nice study break and would love to include your fur babies! I have a fenced in yard that ensures the safety of your pets and allows them plenty of space to run sdound! My parents and I have two medium-sized dogs that love to play with others!

About: I have had animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with always having a dog in the house and then about 3 years ago I adopted 2 cats. I have 1 year old dog and 2 cats in my home. I often dog sit my friends elderly pup along with my parents coworker trusting me to look after her cats while shes away. I am very trustworthy and reliable. I work full time and am typically available anytime after 3 on Mondays, anytime Wednesday, and after 5pm Thursdays/Fridays. I have every other weekend off, so some weekends may vary with times available. When it comes to dog walking or drop ins, I am also available to stay at your home for some extra socializing and playtime for your pet. At home my dog is on his leash outside as I don’t have a fenced in yard. My cats are also free roam throughout the house with two liter boxes spread out that I clean daily. I am comfortable with both types of animals and both on leash and off leash dogs.

About: I have had cats my whole life, including my two current kitties - Barney and Peggy. I have a very caring nature, and have always loved all animals. I will treat and care for your pets as though they are my own. I am a full-time teacher, so weekends and week nights work best for me during the school year. In the summer and on school holidays, my schedule is much more open! I will care for your pets the way you would care for them yourself. I currently have a senior cat named Barney and a recently adopted orange cat of around 7 years old named Westley. They have bonded very nicely despite Barney being set in his ways. I have also had a three-legged cat named Peggy, and I loved and cared for her in the specific ways that she needed.

About: I have been around dogs all of my life and have experience dog sitting for family members and friends since I was young. I am available part time to love and care for your dog(s) and cat(s) while you are away! I have a male Malshi named Gus Gus that will be with me while house sitting or pet sitting in my own home. He gets along with other small dogs well! He loves to play! He does not come with me to drop-in visits. Your dog and I will play games, go for walks, and be best buds during our time together. I will provide basic pet care duties, such as walking, feeding, playing, brushing, and bathing if necessary. I will clean up any messes that may have occurred and make sure your dog is safe and comfortable at all times until you return home. I have availability during the week after 5:30pm to care for your precious little fur baby. I am not available every weekend but when I am, I will have open availability and can hangout with your pets all day! I treat mine, my friend’s, and family’s pets like family members. I treat them like the precious little babies that they are! We play, get treats for good behavior, take baths when there’s been a little too much fun outside, we brush, eat breakfast and dinner, and cuddle before bed time.

About: Some people say I’m obsessed with my dog and I would have to agree! I love all animals, dogs especially. I’ve had dogs my entire life and they have never been considered our pets they are apart of our family. Because dogs have been such a big part of my life, I have helped out running a doggy daycare and boarding facility. I have fostered multiple dogs and I grew up with 6 dogs! While I’m watching your pets I will treat and care for them the same way I would my own, with lots of love and attention. I have worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and with various personalities and temperaments. Separation anxiety, food aggression, possessiveness, jealously, you name it! I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pets as I am working from home and have lots of free time. My schedule revolves around the dogs I’m watching. Depending on age and physical ability a typical day would look like: Typically I wake up around 7am and take your pets for a walk! After our walk we have breakfast (he’ll usually rest until 11:30/12) at that point we will go for another walk or play session for about an hour on my lunch break, after I am finished with work around 2:30/3 we go for a hike or to the dog park (depending on the dog), then we have dinner and get ready for bed! I give each and every animals the love and attention they deserve! If I am watching your pet you can be assured that they are getting the love and exercise they need. They will be spoiled with walks, hikes, play time, treats, and mentally stimulating toys such as kongs and lick mats!

I got the opportunity to study in Europe for my last semester. I am a long time pet lover. I am detailed oriented, timely, patient, organized, energetic, friendly and very accommodating (I.e. clothing the dog, providing poop bags, treats etc.) If there is anything you need just let me know and I will do my best to meet those needs. About: PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL ANIMALS ARE KID FRIENDLY. I HAVE TWO CHILDREN AGES 9 AND 11 ! My name is Alexandra and am currently located in Rochester/Irondequoit area. I have grown up around all types of animals from cats to dogs, birds, reptiles and fish, even raising a puppy. The main animals I grew up around were both cats and dogs. In my past I have worked at an animal store and had some experience as a pet sitter also. I live with my daughter who is well behaved and also an animal lover. I presently only have two small caged cockatiel birds and am able to move them anywhere in the house if needed to provide more space or comfort for your pets. I am willing to work with other certain types of animals if interested please don’t hesitate to ask. I look forward to working together and meeting all of your animals! I am available Monday to Sunday and some holidays morning to night time (flexible schedule) and willing to work with you for extended times or days I provide a calm and quiet environment. My neighborhood is also quiet and calm when taken outside for walks or to go to the bathroom. I make sure they do not interact with other animals outside of my home and the animals I do have in my home are small and caged in a separate room where the door is always closed. I do not have any other dogs or cats and I do not board from different people at the same time.
