She has been watching and walking my dog when I'm not able to since she was a puppy. She is now over 2 years old and Sophie remains to be reliable and my first choice for taking care of my dog. She is great with all other animals as well. She is very caring, patient, playful, and enforces training and rules when necessary and in appropriate situations. I feel good and have peace of mind leaving my dog in her care. My dog absolutely adores her and gets so excited every time Sophie comes over to care for her. I highly recommend her.”

Her most recent dog, Aussie, an Australian Shepherd/Pitbull mix, was a senior dog (age 13) who recently passed from cancer. She was also born deaf, and gave Payton experience taking care of a pet with a disability. Payton ensured Aussie had the highest quality of life, even before she became sick and was becoming a senior dog. Payton also has rescued two of her current cats, one who she adopted through a shelter, and another kitten who was rescued after suffering a broken leg. She has experience caring for post-operative pet needs, administering medications, caring for senior pets, pet injuries, etc. I fully recommend Payton as a dog walker/care taker for Rover! I have first-hand experience watching her raise, rescue, love, and respect all animals, especially cats and dogs, and have full trust in her to take exceptional care of your furry companions.”

About: I have 5 years of experience as a Veterinary Receptionist. Before that I worked at a Pet Store and Boarding Kennel for 6 years. With all this experience I'm familiar on how to handle different situations. My availability is very open since I only work a part time job. I do not have children so my schedule is more flexible than others. I follow your specific instructions, like if your pet can only have specific treats due to an allergy. I make the most of your time by engaging with your baby the WHOLE visit, I won't be sitting on my phone.

“Melissa took very good care of our dog, Norbert. We received plenty of photos throughout our trip that made us smile because he always looked happy. Our house looked exactly as we left it when we got home and Norbert was very sad to see Melissa leave. Norbert really loved spending time with Melissa and we were very comfortable that he and our house were in good hands. Melissa stepped in to help us when Norbert’s previous boarding place closed unexpectedly before a trip, and Norbert seems to be much better off with this sitting situation than where he used to go. We will definitely have Melissa stay with Norbert for all our trips in the future.”

About: I have had a dog of my own since I was 12 and absolutely adore all animals. I did a decent amount of dogsitting over the 2022 summer and loved it :) I am a freshman and hamilton college but hoping to do more over the upcoming summer. I am honestly pretty open other than working 1-5 usually everyday. Besides that I am available to take care of your pup whenever it is needed :) Please just let me know what works best for you! I love to take dogs on walks and really just spend quality time with them. I really just enjoy the company and think they’re adorable :) I could play all day or watch a show on the couch with some pets depending on what they need from me!

About: I have grown up caring for animals my entire life, with a total of two dogs and two cats. My childhood dog, Bella, lived to be 18 years old so I have experience with older dogs as well. I love all animals and am excited to care for them! I am living away from home and unable to see my own fur babies, so I would love to be able to care for yours! :) I also have some experience with caring for birds (specifically canaries and parakeets) I currently have a very open schedule and will be able to do pet care all week and weekends and can communicate if that were to change! I unfortunately do not have a yard and live in an apartment with rules against pets so I will not be available for boarding at my home. However, I can definitely do any sort of drop in visits, walks, and dog/cat sitting. I am able to follow any sort of instructions on feeding etc.
