However, we had an absolutely awesome experience with Kate! The communication was outstanding! In the morning, I received an update with how he did overnight as well as a video showing him eating his breakfast. “Lourdes is AWESOME!!! Teddy stayed with her for 3 nights and I think he wants to go back. lol. When I went to drop Teddy off, she gave me a tour of her house to let me know what kind of environment/setup she has. She also let me meet some of her family members who are also very sweet. While Teddy was staying with her, I got 22 pictures and multiple videos through out the stay to let me know Teddy is doing just fine. She also sent me texts throughout the stay just to let me know how Teddy is doing. During the night, she even put a little sweater on Teddy to make sure he doesn’t get cold. My family and I were going to Canada and I was super nervous because I was going so far away, but Lourdes definitely made me at ease and my family enjoyed every single pictures and vidoes she sent us. About: Up until around age 10, we had multiple cats in our home of all types and ages. One distinct example was an elderly cat named Socks who we adopted after her owner passed. Socks only liked the presence of my mom at the time but it was a great learning experience regarding the boundaries of certain animals and understanding that they are all worthy of love even if they might not show that love back right away! I now have had a small Tortishell cat named Nyx since 2022 and often cat sit for our friend who has a large formerly outdoor cat of which breed she is not entirely sure.

About: I have had animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with always having a dog in the house and then about 3 years ago I adopted 2 cats. I have 1 year old dog and 2 cats in my home. I often dog sit my friends elderly pup along with my parents coworker trusting me to look after her cats while shes away. I am very trustworthy and reliable. I work full time and am typically available anytime after 3 on Mondays, anytime Wednesday, and after 5pm Thursdays/Fridays. I have every other weekend off, so some weekends may vary with times available. You need to be able to trust them and I promise to take care of your dog with as much love and care as I take care of my own. I have 4 cats, so you pup MUST be good with cats. I work from home everyday so I am able to take care of potty breaks as needed and provide attention and playtime throughout the day. Building trust with an animal is etremely important. I am careful to keep an eye on body language so that I know when an animal wants more or less attention, needs to go for a walk, or needs to play. My own dog has been trained to walk on a loose leash by my side and does not pull. I've had plenty of experience walking shelter dogs who had no training though, so I can handle quite a bit. I regularly interact with my cats depending upon what type of interaction they want. I have two cats who love to play with toys on strings, and two other cats who prefer to be showered with pets. I am a believer that if you pay attention the animal will let you know what it's boundaries are.
