About: I was born and raised to love dogs. I grew up in a household that bred Rottweilers and I could not be anymore grateful for the lessons of love and care for animals it instilled in me. I began caring for other's pets when I was in high school. Over a decade later I have had experience in short and long-term overnight care/house sitting, day-visits, walks, and some medication administration for pets of all ages and sizes. I have a special spot in my heart for senior pets and giving them the extra love and care they deserve. I know that every home and pet has unique needs and ways to be taken care of. I believe with clear communication I am able to approach each new pet care situation with confidence that we can both feel when you leave your loved ones in my care! I am currently just working part time and have lots of flexibility/weekend availability. I love to take early morning walks with dogs, especially given that it's summer I keep the heat in mind and have availability during the cooler hours. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly enjoy caring for pets with all different personalities, ages, and needs. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life, and once I was old enough, I rescued, raised, and trained two puppies of my own from just 8 weeks old. That experience taught me the patience, consistency, attention, and responsibility that go into giving an animal the care they truly need.I’ve also had the privilege of caring for my parents’ senior Great Dane, who weighed approximately 130 pounds and was diagnosed with cancer. As he reached the later stages of his life and became unable to walk on his own, I helped provide the extra patience, attention, and hands-on care he needed to remain comfortable and feel loved. That experience taught me that caring for an animal isn’t always about the easy or playful moments—it’s about being there for them through every stage of life and making sure they always feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m not a “one-size-fits-all” sitter. Every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to understand what makes each pet feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. Whether they need plenty of exercise and playtime, a consistent routine, extra patience and attention, or simply some companionship while you’re away, I’m prepared to give them the care they need. I work from home Monday through Friday until 4:30 PM, which gives me the flexibility to provide pet care before and after my workday. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and overnight care outside of my working hours, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s individual schedule and needs. When I’m caring for your pets in your home, my priority is keeping them comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine. I take the time to follow their usual feeding, potty, walking, medication, playtime, and bedtime schedules so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’ll give them plenty of attention and companionship, while also respecting their space and personality. Since I work from home, I’m able to spend a lot of time with them throughout the day when I’m not working, rather than simply stopping in for a quick visit. I’ll also keep your home clean and cared for, and provide regular updates so you know how your pets are doing. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, relaxed, and well loved in the comfort of their own home.
