About: I have worked in the pet industry for about 6 years now. I have worked at doggie daycares in St. Louis(Williamsburg Pet Hotel) and here in Kansas City(The Collar Club) I currently work at Nestle Purina as a puppy trainer. I also volunteer at Kc pet project and take shelter dogs out for dog day outs. I have experience with all size and types of dogs. My mom currently lives on a farm with ducks, chickens, 5 dogs and 4 cats. I grew up with animals my whole life and love each and every animal as they are my own. Dogs are such amazing animals and we need them more than they truly need us. All dogs go to heaven. I am currently working full time at Purina Sunday-Wednesday. I am free Thursdays thru Saturdays. I can also do walks Sunday thru Wednesday if needed. I love working with pets In their own home. The dogs are more comfortable and feel safe in their own home. I have a chow/shepherd mix that has anxiety so I am used to dogs that struggle with new people and anxiety.

“Thank you”

“Thanks so much for coming out in this crappy weather, I must have forgot to close that stupid door in my bedroom. Thanks so much for correcting my my problem!!”

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was young. In middle school my mom started my cat obsession (bathe, feed, cuddles of course, changing litter box, administer medicine) and although I still love them, dogs definitely tend to be more theatrical. : ) I have lots of patience for pups and stubborn older dogs (let's be honest, we can all be a little stubborn) (feeding, walks, baths, administering medicine, belly rubs) I have a theatrical dog named Owen (sometimes I think he was an actor in his past life) to keep your pups company throughout the day. I currently work from home full-time and have a flexible schedule. I'm able to take dog park/walking breaks, or check-in on your pets when needed. My apartment has a long walking trail (we walk in the morning and evening) and a dog park that we go to twice a day as well. *My apartment does not have any breed restrictions, I understand that some breeds get bad reps, but I was raised with a pitbull that is truly a teddy bear.* When dropping in on pets I like to ask lots of questions at first, because I want to make sure the care is consistent to their daily routine.

About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. Whether your pup loves fetch, belly rubs, or just a calm presence while you’re away, I make sure they feel safe, happy, and well-cared-for every step of the way. I am a stay at home mom so I have lots of free time and can sit or do check ins/walks anytime! I am trying to find something to fill my time and I thought this would be perfect. Your animals’ safety and well-being are always my top priority. I care for every pet as if they were my own—with patience, attention, and genuine love. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether I’m caring for your pets in your home or mine, you can count on me to be reliable, respectful, and fully dedicated to keeping them happy, healthy, and safe.

Alexa V.
“I’m writing to wholeheartedly recommend my friend Alexa as a pet sitter on Rover. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing her for 5 years, and I can confidently say that few people demonstrate the same natural connection with animals, along with the responsibility and genuine care that Alexa brings to every interaction. She has extensive hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals—ranging from dogs and cats to birds and even equestrian animals. This broad background has given her an exceptional understanding of animal behavior, routines, and individual needs. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy, a shy senior cat, or a strong-willed horse, Alexa knows how to engage with them in a way that is both calming and respectful. What sets Alexa apart is her attentiveness and reliability. She is the kind of person who will go the extra mile to ensure pets are not just fed and walked, but truly cared for—emotionally and physically. She is also highly communicative, keeping owners informed with regular updates, photos, and check-ins, which provides peace of mind when you’re away from your beloved pet. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, kind-hearted, and experienced to care for your furry (or feathered!) family member, I can’t recommend [Friend’s Name] enough. Your pet will be in capable and loving hands. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to hear more about my experience with Alexa. Warm regards, Trae R.”

“This woman is amazing! She has a lifetime of experience caring for animals big and small, from rodents and cats, to bunnies and dogs. She has a great work ethic and lots of compassion and love for animals. She has taken care of my cats for me on several occasions and she has never given me a reason to be dissatisfied. My cats love her!”

Laurel A.

“Laurel is amazing!! My previous dog walker moved and I was so nervous about finding a new one and she has exceeding my expectations!! Definitely going to keep booking with her ?”

Ellie A.
“Ellie is a great friend of mine. I can tell she loves and cares for her personal dog. She would be a great choice for a dog caregiver for you as well!”

Cortland P.
“Cortland was great with our dog, Nipsey. She is a sharpei/pit mix and loves to chase after anything that moves. The neighborhood squirrels, outside cats, and basically anything furry, have come to know her as well... Maybe not the best rapport but hey, you win some, you lose some. Cortland, was able properly handle our muscle girl with ease and grace. I'm sure if you even asked, Nipsey Girl, herself she would say that Cortland was a ton of fun and easy to love on. If you are looking for someone to watch your fur baby or just take them for a midday stroll, Cortland is the man with the plan. 6/5 stars 8/7 days a week.”

William V.
“Will has always done a great job in caring for our dogs and cats. From going on walks, feeding and watering, litterbox duties and just hanging out with all of the critters, he is willing to do it all. And they love him!”
