“Zachery was a communicative and took great care of my pup. He left the house clean and tidy. I would reach out again next time I’m out of town.”

“An incredibly thoughtful, kind, thorough, and all-around fantastic dog-sitter. We hired Anthea to care for our two pups (one a young very timid yet somehow still energetic yorkie mix rescue pup, the other a geriatric parsons Russell terrier who is dealing with some doggie dementia), and she was incredible. Met both dogs where they were were at and went above and beyond in the care for the pups and the care for our home. Gave our pups lots of attention, exercise, and love; gave us detailed updates and lots of photos on how the pups were doing; and we retuned to a home in better condition than it was when we left for the weekend! The Mary Poppins of dog-sitters!”

About: I just joined, I’ve worked in Veterinary medicine for 15 years which includes Kennel/Veterinary Assistant in a general practice ,Emergency Veterinary Medicine for almost 5 years now. I am most recently since moving out west in the ER/ICU at a Veterinary Speciality. I moved from Maine in the summer of 2024 to explore more of the outdoors and meet new people. I’ve had on and off experience over many years of pet sitting mostly for my veterinary co workers pets in their homes (multiple cats, multiple dogs and sometimes a combination of both). I would love to have healthy fun experiences with your pets on their normal day and maybe learn something new from each of them. I work full time three days a week my availability is mainly for my days off but I am flexible to walks before I go into work (I work very long shifts Thursdays/Fridays/Saturdays) I have a very friendly Labrador retriever that is so easy to get along with and has always been exposed to many different types of dogs with so many different personalities I have done well to keep his social experiences positive. I also have a cat that I’ve had for 15 years I used to have three total for many years.

About: As the daughter of a veterinarian, I’ve been in a house full of animals since I was in diapers. I even learned to walk by pulling myself up on one of our Golden Retriever’s fur and letting her guide me around the house. My mother’s love for animals passed on to me as she’d bring home dogs and cats that needed special treatment and couldn’t stay in the hospital kennels at night (ie. kittens and puppies needing to feed every hour or senior dogs needing to go outside often). When I wasn’t in school, I was at my mother’s vet clinic watching the surgeries and cleaning cages. I know that pets come in all shapes, sizes, attitudes and quirks and I’d love to learn about and meet yours! I’m currently a stay at home mom with school age kiddos, 2 dog babies and 1 senior kitty (who’s still my baby). I have doctor’s appointments 2-3 times a week and need to take my kiddos to school and pick them up, but in between those hours I am free and we can definitely make something work. I am also available to stay overnight from 8pm-6am. Did someone say…WALKIES?! I’d love to stop in for feeding, playing, meds administration, walking, potty breaks or even just cuddles! Or if you need me to stay the night so your fur babies need that support, I’m your girl!

“Amanda was a fantastic house sitter and took amazing care of our dog while we were away. She was responsible, respectful, and left the house spotless. Amanda kept us updated with messages and pictures, which gave us great peace of mind. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”

“Angelique took such great care of my boy. He got sick while she was house sitting and she was great at communicating with me, went out and got him pumpkin puree to settle his tummy and even went back to her house to get a carpet shampooer to scrub my carpet. Thank you so much!”

“I don't travel much and my cat is not keen to being left alone. On top of that, my cat is moody. I have had some not-so-great pet sitters in the past, who didn't do what I paid them to do, so I was nervous about hiring someone I didn't know. Luckily, I met Skylar. She was wonderful! She tolerated my excessive concerns and put my mind to rest while I was traveling. She also handled extra chores, such as plant care, perfectly. I was nervous about being out of the country, leaving my kitty behind, but I quickly realized she was in good hands. Skylar went above and beyond! I highly recommend her. I will hire her again.”

“Juliet went above and beyond when taking care of my three pets and home. She was great at communicating and working through things with. She left my house better than we left it. She also went out of her way to remake our bed for us before leaving. We cannot thank her enough and hope to be able to use her again soon for house sitting.”

“Thank you for watching miss Zoey. You gave me peace of mind while out of the country! You’re always so reliable. Thank you so much for caring for her.”

About: I've had many pets since I was a young child. My grandparents had a farm so I've had experience with all sorts of animals. My dream is to have an animal sanctuary some day. I believe it's important to provide care to an animal in their home to limit stress and disruption to their normal routine. I have 3 dogs at home. Many of my home cleaning clients have animals so I'm exposed to all types of pets on a daily basis. Walking dogs provides exercise not only to the dog but for me as well. Providing care and a routine that the animal is used to is important to me. Communication with the pet parent is key to a successful experience with any animal.

She would be amazing for this position!”

13. Jennifer H.
“We have a very old and diabetic pit bull mix that has kept us from going out of town for awhile. We found Jennifer through word of mouth from our veterinary office. We contacted Jennifer when we had a relative pass out of town and needed to attend the funeral. She came over before we even left so that she could meet us and our pittie, Bluey, and show her exactly how we wanted things done. We felt very comfortable when we left town knowing we had left our Bluey in good hands. Jennifer would come over several times a day to feed and give Bluey her meds and then stay over through the night so she wouldn’t be alone. We are so happy that we have finally found someone that we can trust to watch our baby when we need to just get away.”
