About: I've had pets since I was a kid, cats and dogs, so I've taken care of them as kittens and puppies, and in old age, administering medication, giving them injections, putting medicine in their food, drops in their ears, feeding them and giving them water as well as treats, baths, taking them for walks, bringing them to the vet and playing with them. I also have about 10 years of experience with other people's pets as a house-sitter and dropping in them to play with them and walk them. I have 3 cats of my own, so I do take care of them daily, but I am free Monday-Sunday as a house-sitter and drop-in. They were sweet, patient, and really understanding of my dog’s behavioral needs (positive reinforcement, taking new things slowly, etc.). I felt safe knowing that my dog (and also elderly cat) would get plenty of cuddles and attention! Ren also took wonderful care of the house.
Emily has been doing drop-ins visits for our chickens for a few years now, and she occasionally house sits our small zoo of dogs, cats and backyard birds. She does an incredible job every time! Rebecca was so kind, gentle and my pup got such good care while I was away. He has epilepsy., so I have been really picky on who I leave him with and often just opt to drive so I can take him with me! Rebecca was such a great communicator, clean, respectful and really responsible for feeding times and medications. He really took to her, which says a lot about who Rebecca is. Sterling was an excellent sitter. He took care of our cats, dogs, horses, and aquarium while we were away over the Thanksgiving holiday. He sent us pictures and updates of our pets and was great with our four month old puppy who is a handful and still in house training mode. Our Great Dane is on allergy and heart medication and Sterling handled that too. He wasn’t afraid to ask questions if he needed information. Karen's communication was excellent from the first contact all the way through the end of the visit. She problem solved when I dropped the ball on clarifying my wifi info and was a wonderful comfort for my cats. Karen really went above and beyond when she discovered mice had gotten into my cat food.
