About: I’ve been dedicated to dogs for most of my life. My current best friend, Arty was a stray and then was at shelters for a long time before I adopted him. He had issues, but I didn’t give up on him. I took him to manners class and used marker training to work through his issues. He is now a well-balanced boy. Having traveled to Portland from San Diego to visit our toddler granddaughter, we were in a bind. I have a fully fenced yard and my neighborhood has beautiful walking trails, that I use whether I am walking a dog, or just walking alone. I’m 6 feet tall and strong, and my last foster was great with people but not so much with other dogs we met on our walks, so I’m used to avoiding them, if necessary! “Cassandra and Trevor were absolutely amazing with my daughter’s dog, Leo, while she was hospitalized. He required a great deal of personal care because he does not have the use of his back legs and is missing one eye due to previous abuse. Cassandra and Trevor sent daily photos, videos, and updates, and spent a great deal of time hand-feeding him and carrying him to where he needed to go. When we picked him up, Leo was one. alert, clean, and happy little dog. Thank you so much, Cassandra and Trevor!”

“I've had Steve watch my 1 year old dog twice now and can't say enough good things about him! He is a multi-dog sitter who has been wonderful with large dog packs. Steve sends pictures and videos when ever I ask for a check in. He has been flexible with pick up and drop off. He asks all the right questions up front. Steve is my go-to sitter from now on. His home is lovely and he has a beautiful yard for the dogs to play in. Both if his own dogs are happy and so sweet to me and Jade whenever we visit.
