About: I've been caring for dogs and cats for over 25 years, and I've been an animal lover all my life. I'm a long time volunteer for animal rescue organizations, and have fostered several dogs over the years. These experiences have provided me with a great deal of education about animal care, as well as expert contacts when I need advice. I have experience with puppies as well as senior dogs, and dogs with separation anxiety. I believe all dogs deserve a loving home, and that includes a sitter who treats them like family when they can't be with their family! And all cats deserve a personalized mix of love and independence. I'm currently home full-time, so my schedule is very flexible. My availability will mostly depend on my other pet care commitments. I'm looking forward to filling more of my days with doggos, taking walks, playing in the park, and snuggling on the couch! My home and vehicle are both geared towards dog-friendliness and safety. Pets are allowed on the furniture, I have several dog beds, space for separate feeding stations, car seatbelt harnesses, and a lift harness. I have a large fenced patio, and my neighborhood is quiet and walkable. I also have access to a small, private dog park in my complex and a large, public one nearby. If your pet has a specific schedule or needs, I'm happy to accommodate them.

About: Animals have always been my passion and your pet's well-being will always come first. I work in a very timely manner and am proactive to let you know about how your pet is doing! I am in the process of becoming a certified dog trainer and spend 30+ hours volunteering at the animal shelter. I have open availability for the summer and would love to help care for your furry companion! My schedule is Sunday - Saturday, with earliest appointments at 8AM and latest at 8PM. Caring for pets in your home requires trust and respect. I keep to the main community areas of your home - this generally includes the living room, kitchen, and backyard, as well as access to one bathroom. I will assume any other place as off-limits unless otherwise specified. Supplies such as leashes, collars, harnesses, treats, etc. that you provide will be returned back to their original location at the end of my stay. Keys can either be left in a hidden lock box or on my person - I take care to properly label and safely store any keys to ensure they are returned when needed.

“Emily is incredible! She has been walking our 2 (big) dogs for about 2 weeks now and the boys are loving the walks. Emily is very alert to all their needs and is even helping to train them along the way. Booking with Emily was super easy and she always responds quickly to any/all messages. I would definitely recommend her services! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

I also experience with caring various exotic reptiles, I have a few reptiles ( Chamleon, bearded dragons, crested geckos and Pac-Man frog). I have a adorable frenchie named Oreo and two beautiful tabby cats Ruffles and Fishsticks. I offer reliable, compassionate pet sitting, walking, and playtime tailored to your pet’s personality and routine. I’ve worked with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments, including senior pets and those with special needs. You can count on me to provide regular updates, photos, and peace of mind while you’re away. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet—I’d love to get to know you and your pets! Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I enjoy being active and spending time with animals. I have a flexible part-time schedule that allows me to do morning, midday, and evening visits during the week, as well as weekend care when needed. I typically set aside time each day for dog walks, drop-in visits, feeding, and playtime, and I’m comfortable working around specific routines that pets are used to. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, I might be able to help you out! Caring for animals is something I genuinely look forward to—it adds joy and structure to my day, and I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible to help pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I take time to understand each pet’s needs—whether it's feeding schedules, medication, walks, or favorite toys—and provide consistent care, attention, and affection. I always make sure pets get plenty of exercise and playtime, and I keep the home clean and tidy, especially around feeding areas and litter boxes. I also provide regular updates, photos, and notes, so pet parents can feel at ease knowing their pets are happy and in good hands.

“Sumaira is always on time and I know I can count on her to take good care of my fur babies. While walking my Siberian Husky another dog that was unleased attacked my dog. Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”

Cheryl L.
“It was always hard to leave my small, medically-complex doggo. But I was so quickly put at ease when she was in Cheryl’s (and her sweet pup Emma’s) care. In the pictures Cheryl sent, my girl clearly felt safe and comfortable. She did great with meds and was kind, flexible, and great with communication. Highly recommend!”

Rachael R.

“Rachael is an amazing dog walker and sitter for my black lab Winston. He’s been walked and cared for by Rachael since he was just a tiny puppy (he’s now 2 years old). She visits multiple times a day to take Winston out of his crate, feed and walk him, as well as spending some time playing and exercising him. He’s always happy when Rachael comes around, especially on last minute calls!”

Taylor C.
“Taylor is responsible, reliant, and truly puts all her effort into things she cares about. She works hard to reach her goals and stays persistent in the face of adversity. Taylor owns two cats, both that she adopted and gave a loving home to. When she takes care of her pets, they always come first and are her number one priority. I would absolutely trust Taylor to watch over and care for my pets, and I wouldn't be surprised if they got a little attached to her too.”

Robyn K.
“Robyn is so much fun to work with and hang out with. She is a real pet lover and wonderful with animals. She would be perfect for this job!”

Alyssa R.
“Alyssa is by far the most responsible, thoughtful and kind dog walker ever. She has been house sitting for us since 2012. Our dogs love her and obey her very well. She is very responsible with our dogs and follows our instructions to the tee for walking, feeding and locking them.in kennels, etc. She is also very respectful of our home and a great problem solver and critical thinker. When we were abroad and she was staying at our home, she had to troubleshoot getting our heater fixed. She set it all up and arranged for the heater to be fixed in our absence. We love Alyssa.”

Kayla D.
“Kayla was my neighbor for many years until she moved out and got her own place. I am a teacher and during the summers, my family and I would travel for long periods of time. Sometimes a month, sometimes a month and a half. She was always the first person we asked to pet sit for us. We had two dogs, two cats, and one of the years we had fish too. Kayla watched our pets like they were her own. We were able to go on vacation without worrying about our animals because we knew they were in good hands. Additionally, when we came home from our vacation, their food and water was full, liter boxes clean. It's too bad she's moved away but I would recommend her to anyone.”
