About: As the VP of a dog rescue and senior shelter volunteer for many years, there isn't an animal I don't feel comfortable handling. From young puppies to seniors, to active dogs and dogs that need patience or positive reinforcement training, I am here to help! I am currently a part of the Department of Education reduction in force, so I have a flexible schedule mornings through mid-afternoon, Mondays through Fridays. I will follow whatever instructions you provide for your dog. If you'd like your dog to get some socialization, I am happy to include our personal dog who is incredibly dog social and tolerant. Please message me if you are interested in that at no extra charge. I am experienced with dogs that are not dog social as well, in addition to reactive dogs and dogs that are wary with people. Really, anything you and your pup need, I am here to provide.

About: I have grown up with dogs from a young kid and they have always been a constant in my life. My kids always had at least 2 dogs in the house and even though they are gone, I still loving pets around. I specifically like to take care of small to medium dogs, senior dogs, and dogs that are house trained. I am very excited to start this journey on Rover and meet and take care of your dogs. I am retired and am at home full-time which gives me the availability to fully cater to your dogs. I like to go on walks in my neighbourhood and spend time in my fenced in backyard. I have a fenced in backyard with plent of room to play and run around. I also have a very walkable neighbourhood and have an extra room for your pet to have their space.

Your dog will have plenty of play time with my dogs in my fenced in yard, daily walks, and I enjoy training basic commands and leash walking. *Note: I am not the right fit for dogs who need to be the only dog in the sitter’s home. As a dog owner myself, I empathize that it truly sucks that you can’t just text your dog to ask how they’re doing when they’re in another person’s care. I work from home M-F with a flexible schedule that allows for plenty of yard play and neighborhood walks. Because my work hours are different each day, mid day dog walking is not possible for me unless you live in the Hyattsville/Bladensburg/Riverdale area of Maryland. Communication, safety, and advocating for your dog’s needs are of utmost importance to me. For example, my dog loves trail runs, hikes, and trips to the dog park. Should your dog enjoy any of those activities, you can trust that I will be attentive to their needs and advocate for them in different environments. If you’re not sure but want me to try, I’ll be attuned to your dog’s cues and respect their communication. I will not push them past their limits - they need to know I have their back. I have one large and one small crate should your dog be used to crate sleeping or in the process of crate training. Let’s discuss what your dog needs to feel comfortable when we connect.

About: I have 2 dogs for 4 years now! I don’t have them anymore since my boyfriend has them right now in a different city. I miss having pets in my life and loves having dogs or pets even if they are crazy sometimes. I have trained my dogs to leave pedestrians alone and have patience and I believe I have a good leadership that dogs will follow. Let me take care of your dogs while I also get to know them!! I can take care of each dog to their own needs and personality and like and take care of them, as well as having my own relationship with them as well. I can walk them 2 times a day and around 3-4 potty breaks. When I wake up, during the afternoon(after class). After dinner and before going to bed. I also live really close by to my school and I only have 2 classes a day so I will be able to run back and forth from my house to where I need to be I can play games with them through toy and/or treats to boost their confidence and patience, as well as following directions from humans. I will also provide comfortable place for them if they are staying in my home. Giving them nice and comfortable bed, making sure they always have water, feed them, having owners clothing on their bed for comfort…and anything the owner asks for. I can walk them 2 times a day with 3-4 potty breaks everyday.
