About: Previous experience of several cats and dogs. Currently mum to a 7 year old jackawawa. Old hand-reared previous puppies when their mother abandoned them so happy with any age. I work part time so can fit in around my routine easily. I am free weekends around my children's visits. Happy to discuss any availabilities. I have experience of fenced gardens, and both crating/not crating. If needed, my dog can be a friend during your time away too and he is friendly and laid-back.

This includes regular feeding times, walks, play, and any specific care instructions the owner provides. I make sure to keep their environment clean, comfortable, and familiar—whether that’s refreshing water bowls, cleaning up after walks, or tidying pet spaces. I also send regular updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pet is happy and well looked after.

About: I have been an experienced volunteer dog walker with The Cinnamon Trust for nearly 15 years and during that time have had long-term commitments with five local dogs and their owners, walking most weekends and some evenings. I also regularly dog-sit for my family and friends with a variety of different breeds and ages, including puppies. I also currently have two rescue cats and have experience in administering medication and grooming long hair. Over the years I have had many cats, including kittens and the most I have looked after at one time is three. I regularly look after our neighbour's house while they are away. I am also a homeowner so would take the responsibility of looking after someone else's home very seriously, including jobs that need doing like watering plants, taking out the bins and tidying up after myself. I don't have any children so have limited regular weekend commitments and can be flexible during the week as I work from home a few days a week. I have my own car. I would want your pet(s) to feel as happy and comfortable as possible while I'm with them so would only accept a booking if I could ensure that I can keep to their routine and carry out the owner's wishes fully. I cannot have pets at my home as my two cats would not take kindly to any visitors but am happy to stay over in a pet owner's home, carry out drop-ins and do as many dog walks as needed in terms of frequency and length - I know the local area very well and really enjoy getting out in nature with a four-legged friend!

We got daily pics/videos and came home to a very happy kitten, and a very tidy house. We would absolutely recommend booking Chantelle!”

About: I grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes from puppies to “grumpy old men”. My wife, Morgan, couldn’t have dogs growing up due to a family allergy, so she took to dog and cat sitting instead. Unfortunately we’ve decided it’s not quite the right time for us to have our own dog, but thought what better option than looking after others’ when they aren’t able to. We look forward to looking after your fluffy family member while you’re busy or away. We are both active and love a good walk in the countryside if that’s something your dog would enjoy. We will happily reinforce your training commands and approach if that’s something that’s still in process or if your puppy is testing things as a “teenager”. Both of us are home majority of the time and we have a lovely big shared yard and lots of love and cuddles to give. I am home most of the time, traveling occasionally for work and my partner works from home 95% of the time making us very flexible! Your dog’s safety and comfort is the most important to us. We will treat your dog like an extension of our family. Please let us know if there’s any questions or anything to make you more comfortable. I’ve been doing this for over 3 years now and still love it as much now as I did then I stick by your routine. They come to work with me if possible and are with me all the time. Find they are more relaxed in their own homes

About: I’ve always loved animals and just graduated from University with a degree in Zoology! I have had my own dog and looked after many of my friends alongside other dog walking. I also enjoyed volunteering at a cat shelter for 3 years when I was younger. Currently at university and working but very keen for pet sitting, visits and walks whenever I can! I’m very active so keen to get outside and into nature. I have a flat in Edinburgh centre but would be extra careful when leaving and entering the flat.
