About: Having lived on a farm, and owning various breeds of dogs from a small boy. I have plenty of experience to care for your furry family member Pet care is my full time passion, so I am available 7 days a week for boarding, and i have plenty of time for walks, play and sofa chills. I have a fenced secure back yard, with ample fields surrounding for countryside walks and river swimming. Your Pet will be accompanied by my 2 dogs Bonnie (Springer Spaniel) & Eric (Old Tyme Dorest Bulldog), both very loving and friendly. Available for home drop ins too.

“So glad I've found Marek. He's very easy going and flexible and Jake, my dog, on his second day already was happy to stay and he is a shy dog. Would thoroughly recommend ☺️”

“Our Archie had an amazing time, he loves walking and will walk for miles. Amber is so lovely and accommodating with Archie. We are so grateful for Amber's time in looking after our Archie”

“Lucy and her daughter did a fantastic job of looking after Eevee, they took heaps of photos to keep me updated and very respectful of my home. My 4mo pup had been well tired out ? Thank you!! Will book again for sure!”

“We left our two dogs today with Esther and her husband and cannot recommend them highly enough. They have been so helpful and patient with arranging everything and Layla and Poppy warmed to them immediately. We were a bit wary of leaving Poppy with anyone new as she can get anxious very easily but the pictures they sent to us showed how happy they both were. It was really good to get updates from them throughout the day.”

“Michael took great care of Bonnie I don't think she missed us at all! Would definitely recommend Michael with confidence. We will certainly ask him again to look after Bonnie for us next time we go abroad.”

About: I've been around dogs longer than I can remember, but my official experience started at Bleakholt doing the volunteer dog walking before eventually dogsitting. My expertise of canines lies mainly in senior dog care and bigger breeds, but does not exclude younger or smaller dogs. I can administer oral medication, and apply lots of affection to those who want it. I have a fenced in back garden for those dogs able to stay with me, I absolutely love dogs and look forward to meeting your furbabies! All new dogs will require one night of boarding before staying for longer than three days.(Please ensure you have filled out the summary and added a picture of your furbabies before contacting me, thank you!) If visiting your home, I'd need the times to work around school hours (unless of course it's the holidays), which would be after 8-9.15am for the morning, and 2.40-4pm for the afternoon. Anywhere between those times would work wonderfully during the week. If your dog is able to stay in my own home, the times don't apply. I have to be picky about which dogs are able to stay in my own home because I have two young children (1 year old and 6 year old). I do have a fenced back garden where they can go for space/to do their business, and if allowed I may take them to the local cafe for a puppychino. (This is a cream drink with dog biscuits mixed in.) If they can tolerate children but not for too long I can seperate them to the back of the house (a small room, the kitchen, and constant access to the outside fenced back garden.) There's always someone in the kitchen so your furbaby wouldn't be alone! As for if I'm visiting your home, I'm more than happy to follow any instructions you leave out. Whether your dog comes to mine or I go to yours, please do tell me about any quirks, fears, what they like and what they don't so everyone has a happy time.

About: Hi! We’re Ami and Ben, a dog-loving couple based in Rawtenstall. We recently lost our beloved 17 year old Yorkshire Terrier Archie and while we’re not quite ready to bring another dog into our lives full-time, we deeply miss the joy, companionship, and unconditional love that dogs bring. That’s why we’ve joined Rover, to share our hearts and home with your pup and give them the same love and care we gave our own. We both work flexible hours and enjoy spending time outdoors, going on long walks, or just cuddling up at home. Whether your dog is active and playful or prefers lazy snuggles on the couch, we’re happy to adapt to their unique personality and needs. We know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is safe, loved, and treated like family while you’re away — and that’s exactly the kind of care we offer. We’d love to meet you and your furry friend! We have a flexible work schedule, so we’re available most days—including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Just reach out with your desired dates—we’re happy to accommodate! Our Home & Safety: Your dog’s comfort and safety are our top priorities. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac with minimal traffic and have a large, fully enclosed garden where dogs can safely play, relax, and explore. Our home offers a calm, secure environment, and we’re always nearby to supervise. We understand that every dog is unique and has their own personality and needs—whether that’s extra cuddle time, space to decompress, or a specific routine. We’re happy to discuss any special requirements to make sure your pup feels right at home.

“Thanks so much for taking care of Rosco last week :) He had a great time playing at the park. Ada's communication was great and we will definitely be contacting her again! Thanks again!”

“Chris was excellent with our 7 month old whippet puppy, Frank. Frank stayed for 5 hours and had a lovely walk in the park opposite Chris’ house and a play in his large garden. He also enjoyed the soft carpet and running up and down the stairs! Overall, couldn’t have asked for a better service provided by an obvious dog lover, 100% would recommend.”

About: I grew up with and love dogs & currently have a 3 year old Maltichon who would love some company throughout the day or overnight. I work from home 5 days a week so could look after dogs then, and overnight we could host Monday - Thursday. Occasional weekends available but would have to be adhoc in case we have plans. Dogs can roam around the house and within fenced yard. Unfortunately don't have a large garden but happy to take dogs along with Olive on walks too.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cat and now the owner 2 teens, a 2yr old cockapoo and a senior cat. I work P/T from home and walk our dog 2 or 3 times daily. We also have a large secured back garden too for your treasured pooch to enjoy. Our cockapoo is a lively, friendly boy who gets lots of attention due to me working P/T from home, he loves a fellow dog visitor. Fully fenced back garden all the way round house. Our dog sleeps one a bed and your dog is welcome too or wherever they want to.

About: Family always had a dog. Have been a proud and loving dog owner. Regularly dog sit, dog walk and have doggy sleepovers for friends & family. Love walking in all weathers and even better when accompanied by a dog. Working part-time from home so lots of time to pamper furry friends. :) Work part-time from home, semi-retired.. Flexible on days and times to walk or dog sit at home. Dogs made welcome and always easy to accommodate their needs and mine. Happy to have pets in my home. Access to garden with grass. Local area very dog friendly within close reach of great dog walks and countryside.

“Amy is so great with dogs, Lily has taken to her so quickly. I'm really happy with the service she provides. Gives me peace of mind to know Lily will be safe while I'm away. Thank you Amy!”

About: I have looked after dogs since I was 13 years old; walking, boarding and caring for. These were through my neighbours, friends and other companies. I thoroughly enjoy showing the dogs love and attention where their owners can’t and help the time pass better for them :) I am working 7 month contracts away with a period in between for rest so I have lots of free time out of my contract. There are many lovely parks around to take your fur babies and give them all the energy release they need. My garden is also fully enclosed with no other animals in the house to startle them.

“Gordon looked after my labradoodle Leia at short notice for me this week. Not only did he respond to my booking messages very quickly, he sent me frequent photos and videos throughout the day of Leia having a great time with Gordon's golden retriever Douglas. I really appreciated this and it reassured me that she was enjoying herself- it was also great to see what she was up to! Gordon was also kind enough to have Leia pretty early in the morning! Highly recommend, Leia will be back to hang out with Douglas again soon.”

About: Since I can remember I’ve always been in a family that love pets! Since a young age I’ve always helped care for the pets in my family which as been cats, dogs and rabbits. My love for my own dog (labrador) and looking after other dogs in my family as motivated me to start caring for dogs in my spare time! I have currently been made redundant which means I have a lot of free time and availability to meet any care needs you may need. I live in a lovely area with a nice fenced off garden for your dog to run around and also a dog of my own. I am also close to a lot of nice dog walking spots. I am happy to care for you dog as you would at home whether you crate them or let them sleep in bed with you they will get the same treatment in my care.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs of all sizes my entire life, and my love for animals runs deep. I have a Labrador of my own, who is truly my world, and he absolutely loves the company of other dogs. There’s nothing that makes me happier than snuggling with a pup and getting all those sweet doggy kisses! If your pet stays with me, they’ll be treated like one of the family—showered with love, attention, and plenty of spoiling. Rest assured, your furry friend will feel right at home and receive the care and affection they deserve! I’m currently at home throughout the week so I have plenty of time to give all my love and attention to your fur baby’s. They’ll have my undivided attention at all times. I have a fenced garden so your pet can be let out to play. I am also surrounded by quiet walking destinations so long walks are always available. I also have my own friendly Labrador Enzo who your dog can play with and a toy box full of toys and treats.

About: Hi im charlie i have one little boy and a chihuhua named Elsie, i spend most of my free time caring for and fussing my furry little best friend Elsie. Elsie loves an adventure, she will walk for miles and loves a challenge. Myself and Elsie know the town and surrounding areas very well and know many lovely walks. My passion for dogs started with my grandmas sheepdogs, then grew when i got my own little forever friend 4 years ago. It has been such a pleasure seeing her grow and creating memories with her and i cant wait to do that with many other dogs. In my services I will provide, water, treats and dog biscuits for your dog. I have a few local parks which are dog friendly and also a massive playing field.. which enables me to let your dog of the lead and run free if you are comfortable with me doing this. When your pet stays over for some time or the night they would have their own comfortable bed with a blanket in the dining room. I have a decent size house with two big living area down stairs, one is a dining room and then a small kitchen on the end. My dog Elsie has free roam of the house at night time and she is welcome to come upstairs. I have a secure enclosed yard at the end of the house where the dogs can go outside for the toilet, my Elsie prefers to go to the grass patch at the top of my street, I can take your dog there in the morning and throughout the day. There is a lovely park at the end of my street very suitable for dogs and a massive playing field a few streets up from that too, there I could let your dog off if we have built that trust and relationship between ourselves. I live with my partner, my 6 month old baby boy and my chihuahua Elsie. My partner loves animals and he's brilliant with our dog, he's always loved with dogs and I can assure you that your dog will be warm welcomed and made to feel at home. I am generally quite flexible with my time, I work part time and in my spare time I look after my 6 month old baby boy and my chihuahua Elsie. I am mostly available between the times 1:30-4:30 pm then available again 6:30- 8:30. I can take them with or without my chihuahua Elsie, it is totally your preference but she is friendly and probably wouldn't take much interest in your dog unless they are similar. I am comfortable administering medication, in forms like tablets or through a syringe. I am not medically trained but if it has instructions and is simple enough I would certainly have no issues doing it. I know how important it is for you and your dog to trust and feel safe with your dog walker, so i would be willing to meet up with you first before my first inital walk with your dog. I have always been very good with dogs and It is my aim to make every furry friend feel happy, loved and cared for in my care. I will keep you updated with plenty of pictures and videos, to keep you from missing your furry friend.

Rafael D.
“I am a nervous cat parent to two nervous cats, so when I needed to go into hospital for surgery there was a lot of anxiety in my household. Thankfully, Rafael to the rescue. They came to visit beforehand, and both me and my girls took to Raf's gentle and friendly approach straight away. I knew I'd made the right choice. Raf took pictures and videos every day so I could see my little babies, and when I got home the girls were so much more chill for being able to stay in their own space (they get distressed at even wonderful catteries). I struggled with caring for them the first few days after surgery, so kept Raf on until I could bend over more easily, and I really appreciated the extra hands (as did the cats for all the extra pets they got). I've even had Raf come help me with vet visits, when wrangling two cats was too much for me alone. I can't recommend them highly enough.”

Ami M.
“I can’t recommend Ami & Ben highly enough! They’ve been absolutely amazing with my two Shih Tzus, Rufus and Gus. From the very first meet and greet, they were warm, attentive, and genuinely interested in getting to know each of the dogs and their individual personalities. While I was away, I received regular updates, photos, and videos that gave me total peace of mind. Rufus and Gus were clearly relaxed, happy, and having the time of their lives. Ami & Ben’s home is the perfect environment, safe, quiet, and with a lovely enclosed garden where the boys could explore and play. Most importantly, I know my dogs were loved and cared for just like family. It’s such a relief to have found sitters I trust completely. Thank you both for being so wonderful, you’re our go-to sitters from now on!”

“We used Lindsey as a last minute replacement for our G.S.D. as my partner + myself were having a long Weekend away and not able to take Max along. We were never really anxious about the situation as Lindsey came across as being very level headed and a very capable animal lover ( she also loves cats ). On arrival back Max was well fed exercised and even well groomed (hes long haired). We wouldnt hesitate in using Her services again in the Future and would recommend highly should your Furry Friend need a temporary loving Home. Regards Chris.”
