“Winnie, our Border Terrier, had a wonderful stay with Marjorie (Marnie) whist we were on holiday in France. She enjoyed lots of interesting walks with Marnie and her family which she clearly enjoyed. I know this because Marnie shared lots of wonderful pictures and videos of their adventures - which we enjoyed hugely and reassured us that Winnie was in very good hands. I can recommend Marnie unreservedly and will certainly use her again in the future.”

“Oreo had a really good time with Jamie, good with updates, plenty of pictures of walks and play dates. Jamie was fantastic, I was really worried about leaving her as it’s our first time apart, Jamie put that to rest easily on the first night with pictures of Oreo having made herself at home.”

“Alanah was amazing - our dog has a lot of special requirements and she was more than happy to accommodate them. Her communication is top tier and she even made time to have a meet and greet, a couple of weeks before the booking. Her home is so welcoming and my dog LOVED his stay there. She sent us lots of photos and kept us up to date the whole weekend. We’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Shirley built a great relationship with our dog, giving her lots of attention, taking her for long walks and even taking her to a dog agility park. She provided us with regular updates and plenty of photos and videos. I would not hesitate to recommend Shirley and we will be using her again soon.”

“Catherine is fabulous so down to earth and could tell straight away it would be a home away from home for Reggie - I was anxious leaving him for the first time and Reggie was on antibiotic eye drops/pain relief which wasn’t a problem for Catherine! She made the whole thing easy for both me and Reggie - I think he wants me to go on holiday more! Couldn’t rate high enough - Thankyou”

“Such a lovely girl and did amazing at looking after my Goose. She sent updates and took him out on regular walks. I struggle to trust people with my dog but I would definitely bring Goose back to stay with Amber. He came home so happy :)”

“Scott looked after my young cocker spaniel Riley on fairly short notice. He made time for our dogs to meet before the booking and showed us around the house. I got daily updates and photos/videos of what they’d been up to which put my mind at ease. He treated Riley like his own and he had a lovely time. Would highly recommend :)”

“Such a lovely couple that looked after my pup so well I felt at ease the whole time and could see he was living his best life ❤️”

“As this was my first time leaving Mango with anyone outside of family I was really very nervous about it. As soon as Victoria greeted Mango I could tell by her body language that she was already very experienced around Bull terriers (and they're own special temperament 😁) Very calm and welcoming but also knew not to be (for want of a better word) bullied by her. Going above and beyond wanting to know Mangos favourite fruit so she could make puppy ice pops for Mango and her own beautiful little daisy (who Mango made instant friends with, the little cutie). The little pupdates throughout the day was a great touch in calming my anxiety. I couldn't recommend Victoria highly enough. Very easy, straight forward and no nonsense lady who clearly has a passion for people's pets and I'm more than definitely going to be telling my friends & family all about what a great little service she has to offer.”

“My two dogs stayed with Elena for 1 night whilst we attended a concert. Elena provided us with regular updates along with photos and videos to put our minds as ease. Would definitely use Elena again! Thanks for having them.”

About: I've been around dogs longer than I can remember, but my official experience started at Bleakholt doing the volunteer dog walking before eventually dogsitting. My expertise of canines lies mainly in senior dog care and bigger breeds, but does not exclude younger or smaller dogs. I can administer oral medication, and apply lots of affection to those who want it. I have a fenced in back garden for those dogs able to stay with me, I absolutely love dogs and look forward to meeting your furbabies! (Please ensure you have filled out the summary and added a picture of your furbabies before contacting me, thank you!) If visiting your home, I'd need the times to work around school hours (unless of course it's the holidays), which would be after 8-9.15am for the morning, and 2.40-4pm for the afternoon. Anywhere between those times would work wonderfully during the week. If your dog is able to stay in my own home, the times don't apply. I have to be picky about which dogs are able to stay in my own home because I have two young children (1 year old and 6 year old). I do have a fenced back garden where they can go for space/to do their business, and if allowed I may take them to the local cafe for a puppychino. (This is a cream drink with dog biscuits mixed in.) If they can tolerate children but not for too long I can seperate them to the back of the house (a small room, the kitchen, and constant access to the outside fenced back garden.) There's always someone in the kitchen so your furbaby wouldn't be alone! As for if I'm visiting your home, I'm more than happy to follow any instructions you leave out. Whether your dog comes to mine or I go to yours, please do tell me about any quirks, fears, what they like and what they don't so everyone has a happy time.

“Ben obviously had a great time with Amy who cared for him very well. Really appreciated the messages and photos.”

“Emma was absolutely amazing with Elvis. She sent photo updates of her cuddling him and he settled really well with her and her dog Nash whom Elvis loved to snuggle up to. Emma also helped us out in a really tricky situation as I had accidently booked the wrong dates but this was not an issue for her and she kept him an extra day with extra cost for night which is understandable. We really don't know what we would have done without this extra service as we was still abroad at the time. I can't thank Emma enough and would not hesitate to book her for Elvis in the future. He came back so happy, and she is a really lovely and friendly person. 😊”

“Dora had a great overnight stay with Chelsea, Pongo and co and was so well cared for. It's clear the whole family love and understand dogs, and they were so accommodating and sent plent of photos to reassure me. I'm delighted Dora has a new dog-friend for sleepovers, and by the look of things, so is she. We will be back!”

About: Hi! We’re Ami and Ben, a dog-loving couple based in Rawtenstall. We recently lost our beloved 17 year old Yorkshire Terrier Archie and while we’re not quite ready to bring another dog into our lives full-time, we deeply miss the joy, companionship, and unconditional love that dogs bring. That’s why we’ve joined Rover, to share our hearts and home with your pup and give them the same love and care we gave our own. We both work flexible hours and enjoy spending time outdoors, going on long walks, or just cuddling up at home. Whether your dog is active and playful or prefers lazy snuggles on the couch, we’re happy to adapt to their unique personality and needs. We know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is safe, loved, and treated like family while you’re away — and that’s exactly the kind of care we offer. We’d love to meet you and your furry friend! We have a flexible work schedule, so we’re available most days—including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Just reach out with your desired dates—we’re happy to accommodate! Our Home & Safety: Your dog’s comfort and safety are our top priorities. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac with minimal traffic and have a large, fully enclosed garden where dogs can safely play, relax, and explore. Our home offers a calm, secure environment, and we’re always nearby to supervise. We understand that every dog is unique and has their own personality and needs—whether that’s extra cuddle time, space to decompress, or a specific routine. We’re happy to discuss any special requirements to make sure your pup feels right at home.

From the very first meet and greet, they were warm, attentive, and genuinely interested in getting to know each of the dogs and their individual personalities. While I was away, I received regular updates, photos, and videos that gave me total peace of mind. Rufus and Gus were clearly relaxed, happy, and having the time of their lives. Ami & Ben’s home is the perfect environment, safe, quiet, and with a lovely enclosed garden where the boys could explore and play.
