About: We have owned dogs between us most of our lives and currently own a lovely big Wirehaired Pointer called Wilf who is full of fun and mischief! We all love meeting and looking after other dogs and have a lot of experience in boarding and sitting dogs for family and Friends. We are new to Rover and are looking forward to meeting more dogs and providing a much needed alternative to kennels. Our dog struggled in kennels, and Rover has been a godsend, so hopefully we can provide the same personal service and peace of mind for other owners. I work from home Monday to Friday and we are both around on a weekend. Dogs will very rarely be left on their own as I would arrange meetings and shopping etc around the Dog's schedule. We live on the edge of a village and have a huge amount of walks available right out of the front door! We also have a large secure courtyard where the dogs can play and a lawn garden for them to explore. We have a large kitchen/snug where the dogs will sleep and they are also allowed on the furniture in here. Your dog would be treated just like our own whilst they are here!

“Alex looked after our cocker spaniel Sadie for one week while we were on holiday. Sadie had a great time with Alex and his family and was very well looked after. We were updated regularly with lots of photos and videos of all the fun she was having. A perfect home from home and we wouldn’t hesitate to use Alex again. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve owned dogs for over 30 years and had many other pets in that time. I would love to become your pets second best friend, and I aim to give you peace of mind that they are loved and cared for when you can’t be there. I am fully insured and have a level 3, CPD certified diploma in animal care and dog first aid, so you can rest assured that your pets will be in good hands. I’m available for walks and drop in visits during the week, and I offer longer pet sits on weekends, which can include overnight stays on Fridays and Saturdays. I only offer 1-1 dog walks, or same household groups. During drop in visits, I will give your pets my full attention- playing, cuddles, enrichment and training. I always check that they have plenty of fresh clean water, and can also feed them if needed.

“This was our first time using Rover and Tegan. We've tried our dog in kennels, she doesn't like it at all. She loves the company of people too much! Tegan has been wonderful. About: I've owned two dogs at home for over a decade, taking care of them and making sure they stay fit and healthy with regular walks. I have taken both of my dogs to puppy training and feel confident in looking after young pets. I understand that trusting someone to look after your pets and make sure they stay safe is a big ask but I can assure you I am more than capable of keeping your pets safe and entertained. I'm currently a student at the brackenhurst campus studying environmental science, as well as working as a lifeguard at the local leisure center part time. I tend to have plenty of free time in which I can drop in. At home we walk our dogs everyday despite their age since exercising is important. However at uni I do not have the luxury of seeing them often so it would be a pleasure to look after local dogs. I am able to handle dogs of any size and age. Feeding, bathing, walking and entertaining dogs are not a problem for me.

About: I’ve always had pets around me whilst I was growing up. I am experienced with epileptic dogs also as my “sister” (a French bulldog) has epilepsy and understand the importance of care and routine. I am a part time fully remote worker so am at home a lot. The school that my children attend is only a 5 minute walk away so not away from home long at all. I have a fully fenced and secure garden. We will be happy for any pet to join us on the sofa for cuddles. The upstairs is gated to help prevent any injuries.
