“One word - AMAZING! Kelly was fantastic - you could tell from the outset that her focus was on the dogs and that she would ensure they felt comfortable and loved. She persevered with our little rescue one to ensure that she felt loved and did go out for walks (even running initially as that was the only way to get her to walk). She cared for them over guy fawkes when they get really uptight with the fireworks and even extended her caring to looking after our Koi and listening to that inner voice telling her to test the water..... just as well, as the KH had dropped making the water acidic. We got frequent updates and photos, came back to two very happy and content pooches and an incredibly clean home. We have already booked two more stays and will be using her more. Thanks for allowing us to relax and enjoy our holiday Kelly, totally reassured that our precious girls were in the best of hands.”

About: Hi! I have decades of experience with pet dogs and used to train border collies. We had guinea pigs, cats, chickens and fish too. I can't have a dog right now, so adore spending time with other people's. I don't do pack walks, so your pets get my undivided attention. I have CPD courses in: Animal Behaviour & Welfare (Uni of Edinburgh, 10 hrs) Chicken Behaviour & Welfare (Uni of Edinburgh, 9 hrs) Dog Emotion & Cognition (Dale University 22 hrs) I'm a former teacher and have an Enhanced DBS check certificate (2024), so you can rest assured that your home and pets are in trustworthy hands. I can often be very flexible about availability. I do need to use your wi-fi if I do house sits for you as I work from home on my laptop. You'll want to know that someone with access to your home is trustworthy. I have an enhanced DBS certificate (2024), and recent CPD in animal welfare. You know best what keeps your pets safe, so if you have an escape artist, if your cats need to be kept inside, or if your dog's recall is a little iffy, I'll make sure to look out for that. I understand that some dogs are reactive to environmental factors and can even be snappy to humans or other dogs. I have experience with dogs like this, but it's really important that you let me know if that's the case with your pooch. I can only manage it if I know beforehand. I know how important routine is for animals, so will do my best to stick to your usual ways of doing things.

I have grown up with German Shepherds, I am used to walking, bathing and playing with them. My current dog is a beautiful miniature Australian Shepherd. I trained him with my father, he has a great temperament. Dogs are a gift, they spread joy and affection. I love interacting with my friends, families and strangers dogs. I hope to do it more through this app. I’m a teacher so during the holidays, I will have plenty of time to look after your furry friends! During school periods I will be able to look after your pups on weekends. I have a fenced garden, very secure and safe for your pups. I have a very friendly dog to keep your pup company. I live by lots of fields and great walking spots for your pups to explore. I have a crate if needed.

About: I have owned my own animals since I was a child, and grew up around all kinds of animals on a farm. I have worked professionally with horses, and as a dog groomer and walker. I currently have one dog of my own who spends 24/7 with me, and we regularly train and compete in agility. I have owned my own dogs from beginning to end of life so I’m experienced in both puppy and senior care, and everything in between. I have an enhanced DBS certificate, and I am fully insured as both a dog walker and pet sitter. I also have an up to date accredited canine first aid certificate. I work part time from home, with flexible hours, and the rest of the time revolves around my dog! So I can easily tailor your requirements to suit you and your pets. I have a small yorkiepoo of my own, who is 18 months old. She’s a lovely, friendly little dog but she does get a bit overwhelmed by big dogs, so I can only accept small-medium ones to care for. I have a large crate if necessary…although that’s in the shed at the moment as my dog is on the sofa or bed with me! Whatever your dog’s routine is, I can follow it. If they’re used to sleeping in bed with a human, or in the same room, I can accommodate that. If it’s not belting it down with rain, I go walking for at least an hour per day, often in the woods at Stourhead or similar nearby spot. If it is raining then we still go out, but for shorter walks. I have a large lawn which dogs can use. I do have 2 cats (they are used to my dog and don’t seem bothered by other dogs coming over), but if your dog is a prolific cat botherer I may not be the sitter for you.

Vanessa was friendly, professional and caring and we could immediately see that Ozzy was going to be well looked after. We had regular video and picture updates throughout his stay showing what a great time he was having on his walks in the countryside.
