“Lucy really put mine and my partner’s minds at peace whilst we went on our first holiday together since adopting our cat (Pablo). We chose for him to stay with her at her flat. I was nervous to leave him as it was the first time I’d been away from him for more than one night, but I needn’t have worried. Lucy handled him beautifully, kept track of what he was eating and even had him happily cuddling up with her in the few days that we were gone. She was very forgiving when he decided to meow all the way through one of the nights, which is unlike him but we soon figured out the reason! She also accommodated us when my phone broke during my holiday and managed to get photos and videos to my partner instead. One of my new favourite photos of him is one that she took! Pablo came back very happy, safe, and with better litter habits (something we have struggled with!). Thank you so much Lucy!”

About: Whilst I have been in the pet sitting game for long, I’ve recently been taking care of two dogs over the last two months along with my girlfriend. The feeling of always having a little buddy by your side makes me feel warm and comforting, and I always love playing with and teaching them new things. My partner on the other hand has had pets since she was a child and grew up alongside dogs her whole life. She has plenty of experience training them, and understanding dogs in order to give them the best environment. We can take them on regular walks, feed them on time and play many games with them. We love to maintain the hygiene of dogs, by cleaning them, feeding them the right food, and ensuring they stay healthy so they can live their best life. We love cuddles and love giving them our attention so we would be delighted to have the opportunity to petsit. As I work from home I would be able to take care of them every single day and give them full attention. My partner is working at the moment (8-4) but once she finishes work she has all the time in the world to pet sit aswell. Whilst we live in an apartment, there will be plenty of space for the dog to run around and play with their toys. Additionally, have a really nice and peaceful area surrounding us where we can take them on walks safely. We have already established many different routes which are safe and open for the pet to roam around and take a walk.

About: Myself and my boyfriend Toby are both animal lovers and have had plenty of experience caring for pets. Toby has owned dogs since he was a baby, particularly the border collie breed. He has experience feeding, walking and giving dogs medication- we have both looked after an elderly jack Russell in our current flat. Esme has owned cats throughout her life and loves all animals. We are young professionals who are looking for some furry friends to keep us company. We love the outdoors and going for adventures in green spaces and think a dog would be the perfect companion. I (Esme) work 9-5 as a community nurse, but I am free past 5pm and in the morning for walkies. Toby works from home everyday so can watch over your pups and provide regular toilet breaks. On the weekend we are both available. We have a spacious two bedroomed flat where your pet will be free to roam. Our flat has direct access to the terraced where they can be assisted. During the day, we would make sure to go on walks around the greener areas of the city so they can go to the toilet, sniff and get regular exercise. We particularly love walks around Castlefield and peel park.

“Mohammed was very thorough in asking questions about Mehlu's daily routines and habits before confirming the booking. He wanted to ensure he could handle Mehlu properly. I had informed him about Mehlu's resource guarding issues, and he carefully noted all the precautions needed. When I picked up Mehlu on the last day, I could tell Mehlu was reluctant to leave Mohammed! This shows how well they bonded during the stay. I will definitely book Mohammed again for Mehlu's future pet sitting needs.”
