“Matthew looked after our 12 week pup Fred at last minute which we were really grateful for. We felt very comfortable leaving Fred with Matthew as he updated us regularly during his stay, sending us pictures and updating us about feeding etc. He also stuck to our requests in caring for Fred which was great in terms of keeping him in a routine. We came home to a very happy and relaxed pup and will certainly be contacting Matthew in the future to look after Freddie :)”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, having grown up with two cats, Tiger and Jet, who we got when I was 10. Sadly, Jet passed away after a year, but Tiger lived a long and happy life, reaching the grand age of 18 before passing in January 2024. These days, I’m the proud mum of two Spanish rescue dogs - Bobby, who joined our family in January 2024, and Juan, who we adopted in October 2024. They’ve completely changed my world and taught me so much about the joys (and realities!) of full-time rescue dog life. Back in high school, I did work experience at a cattery and kennels, and for over 10 years I’ve lovingly cared for my best friend’s retired racing greyhounds - Lady, Reuben (her son), and now Honey - whenever they go on holiday. I still dog sit Honey to this day, and I love her so much - she is part of my family and I’m part of hers! I’m fun, kind, reliable, and I genuinely prefer animals over people. Whether it’s cuddles on the sofa or long walks in the fresh air, your pet will be loved like one of my own. I work remotely from home, so I’m always with my two boys. They get at least three walks a day, plenty of cuddles, tasty treats, and lots of chill time while I’m in meetings or working at my computer. I know how important routine, love, and companionship are for pets - because I live it every day. I live in a cosy flat with a small balcony that has a tall glass wall. My two dogs love spending a bit of time out there, but I’ll only allow guest dogs on the balcony if their owners are happy with it - and I’m more than happy to supervise them at all times for safety and peace of mind. Inside, your pup will feel right at home. I have a crate available if needed, plus plenty of soft dog beds to snuggle up in. The sofa and bed are absolutely not off limits - comfort is key, and cuddles are always welcome! I do prefer looking after dogs in my own home, as my dog, Juan, is a nervous rescue and doesn’t feel comfortable in unfamiliar environments or around strangers. That said, he gets on brilliantly with other dogs and loves having a furry friend or two around! I’m also happy to pick up local dogs to join us for walks or toilet breaks - since we head out every day, it fits naturally into our routine. And with enough notice, I may be able to dog sit overnight in your home without my two dogs, as long as my partner is available to stay with them while I’m away.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old, whether this has been with the dogs I have grown up with or helping out other family members and friends, leading to looking after my own ball of fluff. I am very caring towards any animal I see and get the chance to meet and will ensure that any need (or want!) will be met with a high standard of care. My days I have scheduled are my days off from work, so whatever I have booked in for the day, I will be in no rush to get your dog back on the hour! The walk is for my enjoyment as much as your lovely pets! In a pet owners home, I will follow all instructions that are asked of me, I will ensure your home is looked after and is as clean as when I entered it!

About: Hi, I’m Evelyn! I work fully remotely, can always be in to look after your pet. I grew up with four family toy size poodles and one Maltese from they were 8-week old until 16 to 18-year old. So, I have full-age dog care experiences for small size doggies. I'm also very active and organised, so I arrange time and to get out for a walk with pet. And to keep my pet with regular rules that can reduce their anxious. Although I haven't had a chance to own a cat myself. But I have experiences taking care and play with friends' cats. I'm a total animal lover and it makes me VERY happy to hang out with dogs and cats! Having spent so long with them, I understand their body and eye languages and respect them as a human being. I am flexible to be a regular sitter if you have long-term needed. Let's arrange it then can keep your pet feel comfortable and calm, they won't to change home so often when you absent. I am a home based employee, your pet will be with me in the flat and I will arrange my spare working hours to bring them out for toilet and regular walk. The apartment with lift, and I never let a dog stay home or go out alone. In the flat, there are no sharp surfaces or dangerous steps. Your pet and me will spend our time in public area (kitchen and Living room) of flat. My office space is also locating in the living room, so I am able to see and hear them all the time.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since high school and walked dogs daily during university. I grew up with cats at home and dogs at my grandparents’ place, so I’ve been around animals my whole life. Currently, I have a very flexible schedule as I’m working on my dissertation, so I can easily accommodate pet sitting into my daily routine. Most of the time I work from home, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets. Occasionally, I need to go back the lab, but I’m usually free after 3 PM, and I can plan my lab visits around the pets’ needs if necessary. Whether I’m looking after pets at my place or the owner’s home, I always try to make them feel as comfortable and happy as possible. I stick to their usual routine — like feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special care they need. I also make sure the space is safe and cozy for them to relax in. Plus, I like spending quality time with them so they don’t feel lonely while their owner is away!

About: I am offering my services of care and attention towards your pets and property. I am DBS certified and looking to also do my Level 3 Canine behaviour course and dog first aid. During a house sit I will be with the animal all the time to make sure everything runs smoothly. I’ve been a dog walker for 6 years now, mainly looking after my brother’s 6 year old spaniel from puppy. I also walk and feed a 1 year old red Labrador. I also do regular check ins for my friend’s Beagle. I hope this is the start of a long dog walking journey and career. I’m currently working part time whilst finishing my Masters. I am hoping to get a full time job Monday-Friday in the next 3-4 months but will still be available on weekends to walk dogs. In your environment I will make sure the pets are securely and safely looked after following dog owner requirements e.g. crates, food portions and medication. I prefer not to let the dog off lead until I have seen how the dog is with recall and I will definitely not let your dog off lead if it has no recall or is reactive. I am happy to work on techniques to help this too. I prefer not to use is leads that go round the dogs nose.
