“I was very pleased with Heather, she turned up on time and was here when I got back from my trip, and made me a cup, which was very welcome after a long drive. My cat was well looked after and my house was in good order. I couldn't ask for anything more. I will be using Heather again”

About: I've had a dog since I was nine, and honestly, I was THAT kid who begged my parents for one. Luckily, they said yes, and since then we've always had a dog in the family. While I don't currently have a pet of my own, I bring over 20 years of dog care experience from a lifetime of being around them. I'm now the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, and I'm excited to finally make the jump to doing it professionally. In addition to providing a fun and stimulating day, I'm happy to help with basic grooming needs. This includes brushing, bathing, and cleaning paws after a long, muddy walk. I'm a flexible freelancer who sets my own hours, which means I can prioritise your pet's care and be there for last-minute walks, check-ins, or feedings. I only offer in-home care to ensure your pet is comfortable and safe in their own environment. I'm also branching into cat care and would love to learn more. I'm comfortable with all the basics, including feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and providing plenty of play and affection. I love keeping up with a pet's training and tricks, and I'm happy to reinforce any commands you use. I'm also happy to bring my own snuffle mats and KONGs to help with enrichment and keep them engaged. I have experience with all sizes and breeds of dogs and am happy to take any out for a long, fun walk. I'm based in South Bucks, so I'm well-positioned to serve clients in both London and the Reading area. I'm happy to discuss my travel radius to find a good fit for you and your pet. As a remote freelancer, my schedule is flexible, which means I can provide consistent care for your pet during weekdays and weekends. My priority is always your pet's well-being, so I can schedule my work around walks, feedings, and playtime. While I do dedicate certain days to specific projects, I'm available for dog walking and sitting throughout the week, from morning to evening, and even boarding if needed. I can accommodate last-minute requests depending on the distance and length of stay. I'm also happy to discuss your needs for weekend care. The most important part of my service is ensuring your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own home. To do this, my process involves: Daily Routine & Communication: Before I start, I'd love a list from you about your pet's daily routine, including feeding times, walk schedules, and any favourite toys or commands. This ensures a seamless transition and minimises stress for your pet. I will also provide you with regular photo updates if you want to give you peace of mind. Structured & Stimulating Day: A typical day with me involves a balance of routine and fun. I'll provide morning and evening walks, with an optional afternoon walk if your pet needs it. In between, I focus on engaging activities like play sessions, snuffle mats, and puzzle toys to keep your pet stimulated. A Calm Environment: As a remote worker, I'm able to be present with your pet throughout the day, providing a calming presence. We'll have plenty of downtime for cuddles and rest, which is just as important as playtime and walks. I believe that a consistent routine and plenty of affection are the best ways to ensure your pet is happy, healthy, and secure while you're away. I'm happy to follow any specific instructions to ensure your pet's comfort and safety.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and I love animals deeply! I’ve had gerbils, rabbits, fish, cats and a dog. I’ve been volunteering at dogs trust for over 5 years and my responsibilities include walking, bonding and training the dogs. I am always the first person my friends and family contact when they need a sitter and have looked after cats, dogs, fish and reptiles, and also take care of household duties. I work hard to ensure your pets have all their needs met and feel happy. I’m currently working part time and remotely so I have plenty of time to look after your pets and provide them with what they need. I am able to handle any pet and I can ensure their safety as I have never had any issues. I am animal obsessed so I will always keep an eye on them!

About: I've been an animal lover ever since I can remember. Growing up on a farm, I've owned a golden retriever and several cats and horses. I have been pet sitting since I was 11 for family and friends and since arriving to London, I was really missing it. Since I am unable to mind a dog full time with my job, I mind other people's dogs in my spare time. I work Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 6pm, my weekends are free and I can both house sit and bring dogs for walks in that time. I am also able to do overnight house-sitting duties midweek in the London/Reading area When caring for pets in your home, I always make it a priority to follow their usual routine as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding times, walk schedules, playtime, or quiet time. I want your pet to feel relaxed and secure while you're away, so I take the time to get to know their personality and preferences. When dog walking near my home, I have access to a great dog park for pups who enjoy a bit of extra play and social time (with your permission, of course). I treat every pet with the same love and attention I’d give my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for.

About: My ex's parents had 3 Labradors and we had to look after them when they were away. Having no previous dog experience, it was a steep learning experience. Luckily she had always had dogs so I learned a lot from her about properly caring for them, keeping discipline and feeding them. My current partner Bianca is the most loving and caring person I have ever met. She has a way with people and animals that you can only understand after meeting her. She makes animals feel safe and loved. I work full time for London Underground. Currently I have a Monday to Friday, 9-5 schedule which may change in the future. My partner Bianca is an illustrator and a qualified lifestyle coach. She works from home. Together we can provide the perfect care for your pets that you love and cherish. When caring for pets in a pet owner's home, we prioritize creating a comfortable, safe, and stress-free environment that closely follows the pet’s usual routine. We always take time to understand each pet’s specific needs, including feeding schedules, exercise, medication (if needed), and any behavioral quirks or preferences. I respect the home by keeping it clean and secure, and I give regular updates to the owner—whether through texts, photos, or calls—so they feel confident and connected while they’re away. Most importantly, We treat every pet as if they were my own, with lots of love, attention, and care.

About: I have had dogs ever since I was born, which I’ve absolutely loved. I love to get outside and go walking and 9 times out of 10 I will have a dog with me, so your dog will be getting plenty of exercise! I have been walking/dog sitting other peoples dogs as well for nearly 5 years now so have had a range of breeds and sizes. I work from home with full flexibility so your pet will not be left unsupervised should it need to be, I do sometimes head into the office as and when which is 10 minutes walk away. However, if I have a dog with me and it requires me to stay then I work from home. My home is double gated, with key fob access for both the entrance gate and then building door so your dog will be perfectly safe! I have various parks around me which I walk around, usually 40-1:30hr depending on how much or little walking your dog likes. I have flexible working which means I can usually tailor my week to suit fairly easily. The office is only a short 10 min walk away as well which helps! The flat is located within a gated area, key fob access is required to gain entry. There are 2 key fob access points before being able to the flat door meaning it is perfectly safe for your furry companions

Hanna Yin Gan L.
“HannaYin took wonderful care of our labrador, Troy. As my sister-in-law, I can attest first hand that she loves animals and took caring for him with great responsibility. Troy got plenty of affection and playtime and a nice long walk, and kept us updated with photos and messages so we knew what was going on. She sees pets as family and had two dogs herself when growing up. She always had that instinct to make them feel safe, loved, and part of the family. We felt completely at ease knowing Troy was in her care. We can’t recommend HannaYin enough as we knew Troy was in the best possible hands. I’d trust HannaYin with any pet as I know she’ll give them lots of love and attention.”

Cassandra L.
“Cassie has looked after our cat, dog, and fish many times over the last few years, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly. Cassie is incredibly reliable, caring, and attentive. It’s such a comfort knowing our pets are in safe hands whenever we’re away. Any pet would be incredibly lucky to have Cassie looking after them!”
