About: I have taken care of and had animals in my home since I was a young child. I have had the pleasure of meeting and caring for family, friends and acquaintances' pets throughout my life; being around animals will always be my comfort zone. I am currently freelancing from home so I can be very flexible with the dates and times of bookings! Plenty of time to look after the pets. The house has a large living room and ground floor, including a large fenced grass garden for dogs to play or relax. I also give dogs the option of fresh air and play at daycare bookings if the owner permits.

About: I had maltese for over 10 years and as owner of very active dog I know how much of our attention our doggies need from as to stay fit and happy. I will love on your pooch with everything I have. I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. For almost two years I have been the happy owner of a small quadruped who brings a lot of joy to my life. I will take care of your pet as it if were my own and I any nstructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little buddy happy! I currently work part-time, which leaves me with lots of time to love on and play with your pups! As long as I know in advance, my schedule is quite flexible. When I am away from home it’s usually for no more than a few hours. More time to spend with your doggo! I will take care of and pamper your dog as he or she was my own whilst following any instructions given. I will make sure your pooch get enough physical activity and attention that allow him feel happy during your separation.

About: I spent 3 months working in rescue centres in Spain, where I handled some very difficult dogs, giving me the skills to work with slightly more dangerous dogs. I have done some vet work as well as working with all kinds of dogs on their wellbeing and rehabilitation. I work as a composer and so tend to write music most days in the morning. I love walking dogs as it gives me a break from being sat down working all day, and also gives me lots of energy which I can use on other tasks. Generally I am free most of the time and am happy to move my routine around your dogs needs. I am happy to do whatever is required for your dog to have a lovely time with me! I feel that I understand dogs needs well and will accommodate to whatever yours needs.

About: I had a dog for 10 years, so I understand the daily routines and small details that help pets feel settled. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, and keeping up with any medication or special care your pet might need. I’m patient and observant with pets of all ages. Pet sitting is my main focus right now, so I have a very open schedule. I’m available any day of the week, mornings through evenings, and can easily work around your pet’s usual routine. Your pet will get plenty of time and attention. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritise keeping their routine consistent. I’ll follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, and house rules. I’m careful about security (locking doors, gates, etc.) and will send you updates so you know how things are going. If I’m unsure about anything, I’ll ask. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable and for you to feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I’ve looked after dogs of all ages and sizes from tiny lap dogs to bouncy medium breeds, and from playful pups to gentle seniors. Each dog has their own personality, and I love getting to know what makes them happy so they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I’m confident with walks, play, feeding routines, supplements and medication, and providing plenty of attention to keep them happy and comfortable. Both of us work Monday - Friday from home with occasional trips at the office. We always plan ahead so one of us is always home with our Barbie and your dog. I hold an Enhanced DBS and Alex a Basic DBS. Our secure, medium garden has a tall fence, locked gate, and leads to a gated area. Dogs are always supervised outside.

About: I always wanted a dog when I was child, but with three younger brothers, the household was already busy enough, so it was a resounding no from my parents. I read the books of James Herriot the Yorkshire vet, collected Puppy in my Pocket toys, and pretended to look after my cuddly toys instead. Fast forward quite a few years, and my parents finally changed their minds (once we’d left the nest!), and the family welcomed Honey the Cavapoo puppy into their home in 2021. I was living at the house for the first seven months to help train her. We learnt about crate training, went through the biting stages successfully, and taught her to not pull on the lead, to sit at traffic lights, and improved her recall. She has also gone through phantom pregnancies and a hysterectomy, poor thing, so I also know how to look after a dog going through illnesses. More recently, I have been dog-sitting Arlo, a Golden Retriever, for a friend nearby. As they travel for work, they trust me to stay in the apartment with Arlo where we can play with his favourite toys and be fed according to his schedule, and also to take him for a few mini walks a day of around 30 minutes a time where he meets other friends in the park. I have realised that I miss having a dog around now that I’ve moved out of my parents’ house, and with my empathetic nature, I am thinking about pursuing a career with animals in the future. Courses together with dog-walking and dog-sitting is a step in this direction so I can learn and understand different types of dogs, while giving them the love and attention that they deserve! I’m happy to dog-sit in your home, take your pooch for a walk, or drop in to check on them or feed them. I'm currently working a few evenings a week in a pub in Greenwich, so this means I can look after your pet during the day, from the morning until late afternoon / early evening (6am - 4pm / 5pm); and on the days I'm not working, I can stay with your dog until midnight or later as I'm more of a night owl - perfect for your evenings out! I’m also happy to dog-walk or dog-sit during the week or weekends as my rota is quite flexible. With Arlo the Golden Retriever, we play with his favourite toys inside the apartment, and then go for a few mini walks a day of around 30 minutes a time because he has a lot of energy. Another dog-walker or the owner tends to take Arlo for a longer day walk at the moment. I know Arlo’s schedule for feeding, and I send my friend “pupdates”, ensuring that they know Arlo’s been looked after. With Honey the Cavapoo, I know where her vets is if necessary, I understand the tone of her barks - whether scared, for attention, or because she needs to go outside - and I design games for her like “find the treat” which keep her mind and nose occupied. We go for walks in both sun and rain (she has a little coat), and she has lots of friends who she greets excitedly. I will chat with you to understand what your dog’s routine is, and it would be good to have a meet and greet initially because introducing a new person can be a bit of a change for them.
