About: Hello! I've had dogs the majority of my life since I was 6; big and small. I've also been part of the borrow my doggy community for some time and have enjoyed getting to know a number of dogs (and people) through this capacity. I love getting outdoors and im out walking most days. During Covid I emBARKed (sorry couldn't resist!) on a course to further my knowledge of dogs and completing it helped me to be able to train dogs. I love all dogs, all shapes, sizes and personalities I would love to have our own again soon once life settles down a little more and I can commit the time a dog needs, so for now please let me look after your pets :D Thanks Joanne I'm currently fortunate enough to have flexibility in my job to work from home when required which can benefit you and your doggo. Just let me know your needs and ill see if I can work around it :) My house offers a spacious high-fenced back garden along with a large grassed area directly across the road which is used by several local pet owners. I'm also lucky to have the Clyde Gateway just on the doorstep of my house so frequently go along there with or without a four legged companion. Our house comes with alot of love and the odd treat or squeaky toy for a good dog :) I have a 2 year old daughter who is also a little dog obsessed - she has a toy dog that every dog (even ones we are passing in the buggy) has to see while she shouts 'Doggy! woof woof!' She is good around dogs and I want her to learn how to appropriately interact with them from a young age.

“Lucy has been a god send to us and our kitties. The constant photos/updates totally put our mind at ease while on holiday and from the pictures you could clearly see both our cats loved her and felt so comfortable. We will definitely ask Lucy to cat/house sit for us again. Can’t recommend Lucy enough!”

I create a safe, welcoming environment tailored to each pet’s needs—whether in my home or yours. At my place, pets enjoy a clean, hazard-free space with plenty of attention and affection. “Jokha was brilliant with my cat Roxy. Roxy's an older, very attached cat and I worry about leaving her in the care of others but Jokha put me at ease right away and Roxy loved her visits! She kept me updated with lots of pictures and was so friendly, polite and warm in all our communications. I would highly recommend her and would rebook with her any time I need cat care! Thanks Jokha :)”

The fact she is working from home is a very high advantage and you can be sure your pet will be in good hands and she will care for his needs. About: I started dog care in 2021 and have since looked after a variety of breeds and temperaments, from shy rescues to high-energy puppies. A nervous Yorkie, a lively Golden Retriever, a sweet Dachshund, a reactive Staffy, and a water-loving Springer Spaniel have all shaped my experience and taught me how to adapt care to each dog’s unique needs. I enjoy taking dogs to the park on a long lead to sniff, walk, and run around, and if they enjoy fetch, I’ll bring along a ball launcher. I can also practice basic training such as sit, lay, and recall. My freelance work as a gym instructor gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of energy for walks, playtime, and enrichment. Skills & approach: • Comfortable with both shy/nervous and reactive dogs • Experienced with puppies and basic training • Can administer oral medications (pills/liquids) • Respectful of owner routines and house rules I treat every dog as if they were my own, giving them the right balance of exercise, training, play, and affection to make sure they feel secure and cared for. As a freelance gym instructor, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit pet care naturally into my day. I’m usually free in the mornings and afternoons, which makes me a good fit for walks, playtime, or drop-in visits when most pets need company. I ask for a time window for drop-ins so I can plan around transportation and keep things running smoothly. I’m also happy to adjust to your pet’s usual routine, whether that’s early morning walks, or midday play breaks. My goal is always to keep their day consistent and stress-free, while giving you peace of mind that they’re safe, cared for, and not left waiting. I know it can feel daunting to have someone new come into your home, so I always make respect and trust my top priorities. I follow your instructions carefully to keep routines consistent, whether that’s walks, feeding, medication, cleaning, or enrichment activities, so your pets feel secure and cared for while you’re away. With shy or independent cats, I give them the space and patience they need; with playful or energetic dogs, I provide exercise, training, and stimulation to suit their personality. My approach is always to meet pets where they’re comfortable, so they feel safe, happy, and understood. I also treat your home with the same care as I would my own and am glad to handle small tasks like watering plants or taking out bins, so you can return to both a relaxed home and a content pet.

About: I got my first dog 4 years ago after a lifetime of begging. Oscar is a black cockapoo who i was fully responsible for since a puppy. I have also taken care of many family s friends pet including walking, day care, house sitting. I have helped friends out by training their puppy which has been successful. I have also always had cats. Now that I live in Glasgow for Uni i very much miss having my dog to keep me company, play with and join me on my long walks however he sometimes comes for week visits. I am on Placement starting the 16th September, therefore can only do walks on week nights or other services on weekends. I stay on the 12th floor in a flat by the river Clyde with lots of riverside walking available aswell as Glasgow Green a 5 minute walk away. I am very active and love going for long walks but love them even more with the company of a beautiful pup. I'd love to update you with lots of photos & videos of how you dog is getting on in my company to help put you at ease. I’m on Placement for uni so currently can only do night time walks (after 5) or other services on weekends. Im happy to do early morning walks or late night walks or drop ins aswell. I have a flat with no fenced off outdoor area but very clean and has many walks in walking distance and have my own car for any that aren’t. My flat is my uni flat meaning my dog doesn’t live with me along with no children or any other pets. I am available for home visits where i can care for your pet however you like.
