About: Hi! I’m Jo and a huge dog lover. Growing up I had a family dog, a border terrier called Millie who sadly passed away last year. She was the best dog and loved hiking in the Lakes - she almost walked all of the Wainwrights there! She was 17 when she died so I have had that amount of time looking after her. Feeding, walking and giving her lots of cuddles! Although Millie is no longer around a lot of my friends and extended family have dogs so I’m always around them. I’m looking to fill that dog-shaped whole in my life by looking after your dog and giving it the care it deserves! I’m currently off work for the school holidays l, as I’m a teacher, therefore have a lot of free time now in the holidays! I am free to look after your dog through the week and at the weekends. However, I am only available to house sit too or take your dogs for walks :). You can fully trust that I will take care of your dog as if it were my own! I can be really flexible for the next month as I have a completely free schedule. I am more than happy to house sit and take your dog out for walks and stick to any dietary or bathing requirements.

As an athlete and experienced mountaineer, I bring exceptional physical fitness and endurance, allowing me to engage in rigorous activities like long runs or intense play sessions for high-energy dogs. My experience caring for mountain dogs in the Himalayas has honed my ability to handle dogs requiring extra stamina and attention in physically demanding environments. I’m also experienced with leash training and administering basic medications when needed.

About: Hi, I’m Nicole! I’m 29 and work as a Senior Manager at a Day Centre for adults with disabilities. I live in Dunston and can travel within a 25-mile radius — I have my own insured car, a clean driving license, and I’m DBS checked (registered with the yearly update service), so you can have peace of mind that your pets are in safe hands. I share my life with Barney, my 5-year-old working cocker spaniel, who loves meeting new friends. We spend lots of time exploring woodlands, beaches, and parks — and I’d love for your pup to join us! Because I work full-time Monday to Friday, I’m mainly available for evenings after 5pm and weekends. I can be flexible for specific times if needed. At home, I have a secure gravel garden with high fences, perfect for playtime. Dogs are welcome to make themselves comfortable — they’ll have free run of the downstairs of the house, can snuggle up on the furniture, and will be spoiled with plenty of toys, treats, and love. My home is child-free, making it a calm and relaxed environment for your furry family member.

About: I’ve loved dogs all my life and would love to love yours too! I am based in Low Fell, Gateshead. As I can’t currently own a dog due to my work commitments, I’m hoping Rover will provide me the opportunity to care for your pup as if they were my own 😊 I currently work from home part time and I am available most weekends throughout the year, I can be very flexible in providing care to your pup. My home is a secure terrace which has a gated yard, we are also very close to Saltwell park for walks. If your dog requires a baby gate/crate, let me know and we can accomodate.

Free weekends and weekdays after 3pm when I finish work. Happy to spend time with your little ones when I'm free. I give them lots of love and care and they get it. About: I love dogs and I live alone, so dog boarding provides good company for me without the commitment of having my own dog as I also like to travel. I find it easy to quickly bond with dogs and like to think I am a great alternative to kennels as I can give your dog 1 on 1 attention as I mostly work from home. They will get plenty of attention in a nice, peaceful, relaxed home with no other dogs or children. 3 walks daily. I don't have a garden, just a back yard. However, there are great walking opportunities right outside my house. I work from home most days. I have a lot of flexibility within my job which makes it easy to care for a dog at the same time. One on one, just me and your dog, no loud noises, kids or other animals. Would suit a slightly anxious dog that needs a quiet, relaxing environment, as opposed to going into kennels. I only take one dog at a time, would consider two from the same family however.

About: There’s never been a time in my life where i have not lived without pets. I grew up in a household that was pet crazy with many different pets from hamsters to horses. I have been brought up around very big dog breeds, and also small dog breeds. I moved out from my parents when i was 18 and went on to get my own two large breed dogs and four cats. The house i currently live in is very big and used to be two flats, so conveniently the house can be sectioned off into two still, meaning if your pet doesn’t want to be around mine, that is easily done. I am self employed and work when i like to, so i can fit around and requests that you need for me to take care of your pets:) I can offer many different types of services for your fur babies, whether this be taking them out for multiple walks, having a good play of tug of war with them, letting them play with my pets (completely up to you) or even bathing/ washing them. If your pet has and dietary needs or medication they need, i’m very responsible to take care of that.

About: Hi, I’m Georgia! I’ve been obsessed with animals since I was young. I lost my precious Labrador Jake in 2014 which broke my heart but it gave me a love for looking after pets, dogs especially. I’m a freelance creative from Newcastle. Being self employed, I can work from anywhere and have the freedom and flexibility to look after your fur babies. At home, I have a first floor apartment, my outside staircase leads right into my yard. In the sitters home, I’m clean tidy and will look after your pet as if they were my own!
