“Matt was super friendly, helpful and responsive and took excellent care of our dog, Evie, over a long weekend away. We received lots of updates and photos and could tell she was having a great time - thank you, Matt!”

About: I previously had a husky for ten years who had no recall and was reactive, so I’m used to walking dogs on leads and hiding behind trees if needed! 🙈since I lost my husky last year I’ve looked after friends and family dogs at weekends which have ranged from spaniels to labs to Hungarian vizla. I love having a dog in the house and like to make sure they feel at home and give them lots of attention and walks. I currently work full time in the week so can only offer weekend stays. When I’m home at the weekend there’s nothing more I enjoy then going on dog walks. I have a fully enclosed garden and no pets in the house so any dog would get my full attention and be safe and secure. My garden backs on to fields a plenty for a good place for an adventurous walk.

“Ruth was brilliant with my old girl, she's needs regular medication for a heart problem and it put my mind at rest knowing Ruth was giving it to her as prescribed, Belle had lovely walks with Ruth and I was sent regular photos and videos, she looked very content and happy, I've already booked Belle in with Ruth for next year, we had a relaxing holiday knowing my girl was being very well looked after, thank you Ruth”

About: I have decades of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities - including puppies, seniors, and dogs with behavioural challenges. I'm confident looking after reactive dogs and understand how important calm, consistent handling is in helping them feel safe and supported. I use positive reinforcement and always take things at the dog's pace. I'm currently at home full-time, so l'm able to give dogs plenty of attention and consistency throughout the day. I live on a large piece of land, which gives dogs space to explore, relax, and enjoy time outside in a safe, natural setting. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine — from feeding and enrichment to quiet time and structured training. I'm happy to follow any routines your dog is used to. Dogs in my care live alongside my own four — two Border Collies, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and an Alaskan Malamute. They’re all used to sharing their space, so visiting dogs are welcomed into a relaxed, structured home environment. There’s plenty of space inside the house, including quiet areas if your dog needs time to themselves. You’re very welcome to bring their crate or bed to help them settle — I’m a big believer in keeping things familiar and comfortable. I supervise all interactions closely and can separate dogs when needed, especially during mealtimes or rest periods. My home is also surrounded by a large amount of safe, secure land, giving dogs lots of opportunity for calm outdoor enrichment throughout the day. I follow any routines or instructions you provide and always prioritise each dog’s safety, wellbeing, and comfort.

“Hannah is a superb and we would highly recommend her to look after your dog. We had never used Rover before and it was a last minute panic after being let down by a dog sitter. Hannah immediately made us at ease before meeting. She and her partner are very welcoming on arrival and any worries about leaving your dog with strangers disappears completely, leaving in the safe knowledge that they care about ensuring your pet is happy and safe. We received daily updates and pictures and have no doubt our dog had an amazing stay. We will be booking Hannah again for our next holiday. Thank you ?”

“I am so grateful to both George and his mum for looking after our dog Beau whilst we were away. She’s clearly had a busy week and it’s been so reassuring to know such caring, animal lovers who clearly look after other peoples dogs like they are their own. It was our first holiday since having Beau and it was so important to find the right pet sitter, I would highly recommend George, thank you again so much, Von & Tony”

“Shadow had such a fun time with Holly and Pickle! He was given lots of love and attention, had his need for company at all times absolutely met and went on lovely walks in the forest (including a splash in the river - his idea of perfection). Pickle was clearly a great playmate and Shadow came home tired and relaxed. Perfect! Lovely area, great communication and photos. I've booked another stay for Shadow already and would 100% recommend Holly to other dog owners.”

“Kristen was very patient with Treacle and made her feel welcome. I appreciated the daily updates and photos that showed she was having a good time. I have recommended Kristen to other dog walkers, and would have no hesitation leaving Treacle with her again.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters? I only care for one family’s dogs at a time—no mixing, no stress. Your dog gets exclusive attention, a calm environment, and all the comforts of home. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or quiet companionship, they’ll be treated like part of the family in their own private retreat. A true home away from home. I can provide as many what’s-app updates and photos as you require. I work full-time, but from home, so your dog will have company throughout the day. I may need to pop into the office for a few hours once a week, so your dog should be comfortable being left for up to 3 hours. I provide two walks a day and plenty of cuddle time in between. I’m available for dog sitting Monday to Sunday, whether you need day care, a couple of days, or longer holiday cover. I only ever care for one family’s dogs at a time, so your pup gets my full attention in a calm, home-from-home environment. I ask that dogs are fully toilet trained, friendly, and love a snuggle as much as I do! I offer pet care in my own home, where I live with my long-term partner, Tom. We have a secure, fenced garden for safe outdoor time and plenty of space indoors for your dog to relax. I tailor care to your dog’s preferences, happy to crate them in the evenings if that’s what they’re used to, or let them snuggle up on the sofa if they prefer. I’ll admit, I’m often guilty of morning cuddles in bed, it’s a cosy way to start the day! Walks are part of our daily routine, and I’m happy to walk your dog on or off lead, depending on their recall. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, happy, and completely at home while they’re with me.

“Loki stayed with Charlotte and Her partner for the weekend and I think he had the time of his life! I'm 99% sure he didn't want to come home. They took such great care of Loki, took him for regular walks and kept us updated every day. He made friends with their lovely dog Aeva and their cat too ;) I look forward to booking them again in the future. 100% recommended!”

“Charlotte was awesome from beginning to end, she sends fast and clear communications and made the whole setup process very easy. She was calm and confident with our dog and I left her house feeling 100% sure that our dog was safe and would be well looked after. We'd definitely use Charlotte again and would recommend her to anyone.”

“I am so grateful to Karen for looking after Millie for me for 2 days. Millie is only 17 months old and can be a little nervous. But Karen is an absolute natural with dogs. She is lively and bubbly and so clearly loves dogs. The moment I met her I knew Millie was in safe hands and would be very happy. I have no hesitation in recommending Karen to anyone looking for dog lodging in the Gloucester area”

“Ella is AMAZING. It was our first time leaving our 5 month old collie and we were quite worried about how he would adjust seeing as always had at least one of us around. Ella put our minds at ease straight away. She sent lots of updates and photos throughout each day to show how Sven was getting on and went over and above to make sure that his experiences was as enriching as possible. She even went out of her way to help him overcome his fears of ponies (without us even asking) and teach him some new tricks. We know that Sven can be a handful at times and it sounds like he was somewhat hyper for most of his stay but Ella was very understanding. She's extremely professional and knowledgeable, and gave us lots of great tips that we'll be using on Sven's training going forward. She was also very accommodating when our flight was delayed and we had collect him a bit later than originally agreed. Thank you Ella and Pita!!”
