About: We always had family dogs! I also had my own dog for couple of years. I have experience with foster dogs. And here friends rely on me when they travel in warmer places!!! Currently I’m working from home so I have plenty of time for hugs, games and walks! I’m really flexible! Also tired pup is a happy puppy so I love long walks! My partner and I leave in 1 bedroom flat in leith walk! Many parks nearby! We will both make sure your dog gets extra love during your time apart! I strictly follow parents’ rules in terms of schedule and food! No treats unless you want to!!

About: I am Giulia, I live with my partner and our corgi Mortimer in a flat in the heart of Edinburgh. We are close to The Meadow (if your buddies love to meet new friends), Holyrood Park (if they prefer a more peaceful and calm park) and to a small park just behind the flat, perfect for a wee walk. Mortimer is very friendly and always happy to spend time with new dog friends :) I have always had huge love for animals and especially dogs. Since I was younger I volunteered at my local shelter back in Italy, taking care of dogs and walk them. This experience has been very important to me, I had the chance to learn how to approach many dogs with different personalities, and also with no-longer-puppies with trust issues. It has been years since we started dog boarding and walking and it has been a great experience. We will do our best to provide a loving home for your furry best friends while you are away! We want to keep your dog's routine as much stable as we can, providing as much cuddles, exercise and play as he/she needs! :) I can't wait to know your furry fellas! I work full time but I have a flexible schedule and can work remotely if needed. I usually give my dog a long walk/play in the morning and after work, and a shorter one at lunch and before going to bed. My flat is close to The Meadow (if your buddies love to meet new friends), Holyrood Park (if they prefer a more peaceful and calm park) and to a small park just behind the flat, perfect for a wee walk.

“Very grateful to Daniel for helping with my pup Levi at short notice. He was great with Levi and with me as I can be a bit nervous leaving Levi as he’s a bit shy! Thanks Daniel 🤩”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats in my home for more than 10 years. And I am also a professional equestrian rider and horse-keeper for 7 years. I am good at taking care of those big friends. I am a trustable pet sitter, especially for those big dogs. I am currently a student. During the vacation, I am available for whole day. If you need the dog walking and drop-in visits, please contact me at least one day before. My living place is not available to keep your fur babies. But, I am available to take the drop-in visits and dog walking. I have ten years experience to take care of your dogs, offering foods and waters, playing with them, and staying with them

“Bronagh and Kathryn were absolutely amazing with my kitty while we were away visiting family. I felt so secure knowing she was safe with them, and they sent regular updates and lots of photos to keep us in the loop!”

About: With over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, including rescuing and fostering strays, I’ve developed a deep love and understanding of canine needs. I work from home, which allows me to provide your dog with constant attention, companionship, and timely care throughout the day. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to treating every dog like family. Whether it’s a playful pup or a senior dog needing extra TLC, I adjust my approach to suit each pet’s unique personality and needs. I’m experienced with feeding routines, basic training, and administering medication if needed. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I strive to create a calm and loving environment where they feel truly at home. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I work from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, walks, feeding, and lots of love and attention throughout the day. I usually start my mornings early with outdoor time or a walk, and I can easily adjust my day to match your pet’s needs, whether that’s a midday walk, medication schedule, or just extra cuddle time. Weekends are also open, so your pet will never feel rushed or left out. As an in-home pet sitter, I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for your beloved pets. I understand the importance of maintaining their routine and surroundings to minimize stress while you’re away. Safety First: I adhere strictly to your pet’s established schedule, including feeding times, walks, and any medical needs. I ensure that all doors and gates are securely closed and that your home remains as you left it. Building Trust: I believe in open and honest communication. Before any booking, I offer a meet-and-greet to get acquainted with you and your pet, discuss any specific needs, and answer any questions you may have. During the sitting period, I provide regular updates with photos and messages to keep you informed and reassured. Respecting Your Home: I treat your home with the utmost respect, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout my stay. I follow any specific instructions you provide regarding household routines or pet care. Emergency Preparedness: I am prepared to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently, with access to your preferred veterinarian and emergency contacts as needed. Your pet’s well-being and your peace of mind are my top priorities. I strive to provide a nurturing and secure environment, ensuring your pet feels loved and cared for in your absence.

About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember - whether it was caring for our beloved Family pets growing up or stopping to greet every dog that I meet in the street. What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my commitment to providing personalized, attentive care that goes beyond feeding schedules and walks. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality, habits, and needs - whether that means sticking to a specific routine or simply offering extra patience and affection. With a strong track record of reliability, clear communication, and genuine care, I make sure pet owners feel at ease knowing their animals are safe, comfortable, and truly cared for in their absence. This isn’t just a job for me, it’s a responsibility and passion I bring to every visit. If you’re looking for someone who you can rely on, truly loves animals and treats them like family, I am that person. I am currently working full-time but I am able to look after your pet when needed during weekends. I will be available from 1900 on Fridays, through to Sunday evening. Whether you need an energetic walk, short day visit or night stay, I will be able to help during this time. My flat is situated next to the Meadows in Edinburgh. Although we do not have our own private garden, we step outside the front door and the Meadows is right there. We also do have a small patch of grass gated at the front of the building. If your pet does not require walking, there is also plenty of space inside to keep your pets safe and secured.

About: For the last 19 years of my life dogs have been an important part of it. They are not “ just animals” for me, they are family, dogs are living creatures deserving of love, care and respect. I have experience with small to medium big dogs. Ive had taken care of puppys to senior dogs. I know how to walk them, give medicine if needed. My schedule is pretty flexible at the moment mostly free on afternoon and evenings, for long walks, also can take care of them on weekends if needed and requested in advance. I currently live in a flat so i could take care of small- medium sized dogs here but happy to watch out for bigger in their own homes.

About: I have had animals throughout my life when growing up. I have trained a puppy of my own and looked after both my dog and cat. I have looked after other friends and colleagues pets whilst they have been on holiday. I love walks with dogs and cuddles with cats! I am confident for walking dogs and don’t mind cleaning litter trays for cats! I am currently a student at Edinburgh university and walking a dog or looking after a cat would be great for me. I miss my own pets as i am studying away from home so having the opportunity to look after another’s pet would be great! I have a flat in edinburgh currently with a communal garden i would be able to let the pet roam in. I am also happy to take them for walks multiple times a day. I would be able to visit the house many times a day if looking after a cat to ensure they are fed and have water alongside a clean litter tray.

About: This profile is both Ellen and Finley. We are two friends new to Edinburgh that love dogs! We have both had dogs in our lives for as long as we can remember! Finley has had dogs as pets since he was a kid and his family currently have a gorgeous Irish Doodle called Eddie! Ellen has also had dogs throughout her life and loves looking after them :) We have been friends for 7 years and just moved to Edinburgh in January! Finley works full time from home and Ellen is looking for work at the moment but is training to be a florist part time. We have a very warm and cosy home for your furry baby to get comfortable during these cold days and my flat is located right by Calton Hill which is perfect for a good walk whenever is needed.

About: I have been a dog (and assorted other pets) owner all my life, and have often pet-sat for friends and family. We have a beautiful matriarchal German Shepherd, who has proven to be a calming and authoritative influence on all the dogs we have looked after. Your dog(s) will be looked after as if they were one of our own, with any individual requirements paid due attention. We have a small enclosed garden, and are within 10mins of several lovely wooded areas, along with the beach and a few waterways - there is plenty of variety for long and short walks, so your baby will never be bored. We typically do a few short walks throughout the day, with one big long walk during the day to really explore and get tired out. We are more than happy to help work on improving any commands you feel need special attention. We also have a cat who sometimes comes along on walks on his harness and is extremely unbothered by dogs. Between them, the dog and cat have been wonderful in socialising and desensitising some of the dogs we know. I will consider hosting unneutered dogs and bitches in season on a case-by-case basis, provided you are happy for them not to be allowed off leash so we avoid any unwanted pregnancies! 🤗 We have a car, and would be happy to provide pick-up/drop-off if required for a small charge depending on distance and length of booking. Any questions, please let us know! I currently work from home, with time in the office as needed. As I have my own dogs, I am already well used to managing their needs around my work and responsibilities. We usually go for a short walk in the mornings before getting started, with a longer walk around lunchtime and/or in the evening depending on the time of year. I have a designated space for our canine houseguests to relax, however most of their time is spent with us in the main living space. If need be, we are able to crate them overnight, or they can sleep in the bedroom on our very comfortable doggy alcove. We also have a secure enclosed garden which the dogs have use of for any late night wee's, or if they can't handle longer walks for any reason (too young, in recovery, reactive, in season, etc.) and just need an outside space to enjoy.

About: I have always been around animals and have so much experience dealing with them. I understand the needs and can read their cues very well I work from home so would like to fill that time up looking after some furry friends. I enjoy the outdoors and love long walks I have a fenced garden and live close to a giant park which is perfect for adventure for dogs. I also have 2 cats and have been looking after dogs for most of my life so I understand how to keep them safe

Jiajun W.
“I’m writing to recommend Jiajun as an outstanding pet sitter and dog walker. Over the past several months, Jiajun has played an essential role in caring for my Labrador, Max.Every week, Jiajun handled drop-in visits with total reliability and care. Whether it was feeding, cleaning up, or giving Max some quiet company while I was away, I always came home to a relaxed, well-looked-after dog. His thoughtful updates and photos—never excessive, always just right—were a daily comfort during busy days. But where Jiajun really stood out was during walks. Max is a strong, excitable dog who tends to react to unfamiliar dogs and sudden noises. I’ve watched Jiajun manage these situations with calm confidence and clear understanding. He adapts routes based on weather, time of day, and Max’s mood—something only someone with real instinct and experience does. Under Jiajun’s care, Max has become more attentive on the leash and visibly happier after his walks.”

Siyi l.Star Sitter
“I’m incredibly grateful to Siyi for taking such amazing care of my dog, Jumi. She is truly a responsible and loving dog sitter. Not only did she provide Jumi with plenty of tasty and nutritious treats, but she also made sure that my dog felt safe, happy, and loved at home. Jumi can be quite timid and anxious around new people, but Siyi was incredibly patient and attentive to her needs. She took the time to understand Jumi’s personality, creating a calm and reassuring environment that really helped her feel at ease. It was clear that Siyi genuinely cares about animals—she didn’t just “watch” Jumi, she bonded with her. I came home to a relaxed, content pup, and I could tell that she had a wonderful time. I would absolutely recommend Siyi to anyone looking for a sitter who treats your pet like family. She goes above and beyond, and I wouldn’t hesitate to ask for her help again.”

“I know Kassandra for few years. We lived in a same block of apartment . I was looking for someone who can care for my pet when we go in holiday. I have used other people before every time when we go to pick up Nella , she was very stressed. We got to know Kassandra and asked her to look after Nella, we were worried when we were away in holiday how she is and is she been looked after fine. To put us in ease Kassandra send us pictures to show us Nella settled in well and got a lot of cuddles . When we picked her up she was happy and healthy. I highly recommend Kassandra for caring for anyone’s pet . A+++”

Zuryab A.
