About: We always had family dogs! I also had my own dog for couple of years. I have experience with foster dogs. And here friends rely on me when they travel in warmer places!!! Currently I’m working from home so I have plenty of time for hugs, games and walks! I’m really flexible! Also tired pup is a happy puppy so I love long walks! My partner and I leave in 1 bedroom flat in leith walk! Many parks nearby! We will both make sure your dog gets extra love during your time apart! I strictly follow parents’ rules in terms of schedule and food! No treats unless you want to!!

“Thanks Bronagh and Kathryn for taking great care of our cat last week. She clearly enjoyed her time with you as i could tell from the pictures. Thanks for the good communication too.”

About: I have grown up with dogs, and my previous dog suffers from anxiety and calcifications meaning i am used to shy/anxious dogs and administering oral medication. Used to training reactive dogs as well. My family's last dog ended up blind and confused when he got old, so I also have some experience with special needs. I absolutely love going on walks and cuddling, doesn't matter if the dog needs to walk/play for hours or just a short 30 min walk, I am up for anything. I have no preference in terms of breed or size, my last dog was a Dachshund and I now have a staffy, but have looked after large dogs such as Great Danes and Boxers before. I am currently studying from home, so I am able to play/go out with the dog at any time. If your dog has certain times they are used to go outside/get food medications etc this will not be a problem. I live right next to a park so can easily go there to walk/play. Also have an unfenced garden if they just need a quick trip outside. With my own dog I am used to letting her be on the sofa/bed etc, but if this is something your dog normally isn’t allowed they will have a pillow they can lounge on. Just let me know what is/isn’t allowed and I will look after your dog anyway you want

“Allyson has taken fantastic care of Nausy! We've come home to a very happy and well fed cat. Allyson was communicative, kept us in the loop of when she was visiting and leaving, and left us very funny and cute photos and updates. Thank you again!”

About: With over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, including rescuing and fostering strays, I’ve developed a deep love and understanding of canine needs. I work from home, which allows me to provide your dog with constant attention, companionship, and timely care throughout the day. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to treating every dog like family. Whether it’s a playful pup or a senior dog needing extra TLC, I adjust my approach to suit each pet’s unique personality and needs. I’m experienced with feeding routines, basic training, and administering medication if needed. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I strive to create a calm and loving environment where they feel truly at home. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I work from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, walks, feeding, and lots of love and attention throughout the day. I usually start my mornings early with outdoor time or a walk, and I can easily adjust my day to match your pet’s needs, whether that’s a midday walk, medication schedule, or just extra cuddle time. Weekends are also open, so your pet will never feel rushed or left out. As an in-home pet sitter, I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for your beloved pets. I understand the importance of maintaining their routine and surroundings to minimize stress while you’re away. Safety First: I adhere strictly to your pet’s established schedule, including feeding times, walks, and any medical needs. I ensure that all doors and gates are securely closed and that your home remains as you left it. Building Trust: I believe in open and honest communication. Before any booking, I offer a meet-and-greet to get acquainted with you and your pet, discuss any specific needs, and answer any questions you may have. During the sitting period, I provide regular updates with photos and messages to keep you informed and reassured. Respecting Your Home: I treat your home with the utmost respect, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout my stay. I follow any specific instructions you provide regarding household routines or pet care. Emergency Preparedness: I am prepared to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently, with access to your preferred veterinarian and emergency contacts as needed. Your pet’s well-being and your peace of mind are my top priorities. I strive to provide a nurturing and secure environment, ensuring your pet feels loved and cared for in your absence.

About: For the last 19 years of my life dogs have been an important part of it. They are not “ just animals” for me, they are family, dogs are living creatures deserving of love, care and respect. I have experience with small to medium big dogs. Ive had taken care of puppys to senior dogs. I know how to walk them, give medicine if needed. My schedule is pretty flexible at the moment mostly free on afternoon and evenings, for long walks, also can take care of them on weekends if needed and requested in advance. I currently live in a flat so i could take care of small- medium sized dogs here but happy to watch out for bigger in their own homes.

About: I am Giulia, I live with my partner and our corgi Mortimer in a flat in the heart of Edinburgh. We are close to The Meadow (if your buddies love to meet new friends), Holyrood Park (if they prefer a more peaceful and calm park) and to a small park just behind the flat, perfect for a wee walk. Mortimer is very friendly and always happy to spend time with new dog friends :) I have always had huge love for animals and especially dogs. Since I was younger I volunteered at my local shelter back in Italy, taking care of dogs and walk them. This experience has been very important to me, I had the chance to learn how to approach many dogs with different personalities, and also with no-longer-puppies with trust issues. It has been years since we started dog boarding and walking and it has been a great experience. We will do our best to provide a loving home for your furry best friends while you are away! We want to keep your dog's routine as much stable as we can, providing as much cuddles, exercise and play as he/she needs! :) I can't wait to know your furry fellas! I work full time but I have a flexible schedule and can work remotely if needed. I usually give my dog a long walk/play in the morning and after work, and a shorter one at lunch and before going to bed. My flat is close to The Meadow (if your buddies love to meet new friends), Holyrood Park (if they prefer a more peaceful and calm park) and to a small park just behind the flat, perfect for a wee walk.

About: With years of hands-on experience, I care for pets like they’re my own. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I provide walks, play, feeding, and basic medication support. I’m patient, reliable, and skilled at creating a safe, happy environment tailored to each pet’s personality and needs. I’m currently studying part-time for my master’s degree, so I have plenty of flexibility and extra time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits throughout the week and weekends, and can adapt my schedule to fit your pet’s routine. When caring for pets in their own home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow your instructions closely, keep their environment tidy, and provide plenty of play, attention, and companionship. I’m attentive to each pet’s needs, from regular feeding and exercise to extra cuddles for comfort.

About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember - whether it was caring for our beloved Family pets growing up or stopping to greet every dog that I meet in the street. What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my commitment to providing personalized, attentive care that goes beyond feeding schedules and walks. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality, habits, and needs - whether that means sticking to a specific routine or simply offering extra patience and affection. With a strong track record of reliability, clear communication, and genuine care, I make sure pet owners feel at ease knowing their animals are safe, comfortable, and truly cared for in their absence. This isn’t just a job for me, it’s a responsibility and passion I bring to every visit. If you’re looking for someone who you can rely on, truly loves animals and treats them like family, I am that person. I am currently working full-time but I am able to look after your pet when needed during weekends. I will be available from 1900 on Fridays, through to Sunday evening. Whether you need an energetic walk, short day visit or night stay, I will be able to help during this time. My flat is situated next to the Meadows in Edinburgh. Although we do not have our own private garden, we step outside the front door and the Meadows is right there. We also do have a small patch of grass gated at the front of the building. If your pet does not require walking, there is also plenty of space inside to keep your pets safe and secured.

About: I have been a dog (and assorted other pets) owner all my life, and have often pet-sat for friends and family. I have a beautiful maturing German Shepherd, who has proven to be a great influence on all the dogs we have looked after; despite her youth, she is incredible at adjusting her behaviour to suit almost any dog. Your dog(s) will be looked after as if they were one of our own, with any individual requirements paid due attention. We have a large enclosed garden, and are within 10-15mins of several lovely wooded areas, along with a few waterways - there is plenty of variety for long and short walks, so your baby will never be bored. We typically do a few short walks throughout the day, with one big long walk in the morning or evening to really explore and get tired out. We are more than happy to help work on improving any commands you feel need special attention. We also have a cat who sometimes comes along on walks on his harness and is extremely unbothered by dogs. Between them, the dog and cat have been wonderful in socialising and desensitising some of the dogs we know. I will consider hosting unneutered dogs and bitches in season on a case-by-case basis, provided you are happy for them not to be allowed off leash so we avoid any unwanted pregnancies! 🤗 We have a car, and would be happy to provide pick-up/drop-off if required for a small charge depending on distance and length of booking. Any questions, please let us know! I currently work from home, with time in the office as needed. As I have my own dogs, I am already well used to managing their needs around my work and responsibilities. We usually go for a short walk in the mornings before getting started, with a longer walk around lunchtime and/or in the evening depending on the time of year. I have a designated space for our canine houseguests to relax, however most of their time is spent with us in the main living space. If need be, we are able to crate them overnight, or they can sleep in the bedroom on our very comfortable doggy alcove. We also have a secure enclosed garden which the dogs have use of for any late night wee's, or if they can't handle longer walks for any reason (too young, in recovery, reactive, in season, etc.) and just need an outside space to enjoy.

About: I have always been around animals and have so much experience dealing with them. I understand the needs and can read their cues very well I work from home so would like to fill that time up looking after some furry friends. I enjoy the outdoors and love long walks I have a fenced garden and live close to a giant park which is perfect for adventure for dogs. I also have 2 cats and have been looking after dogs for most of my life so I understand how to keep them safe

Siyi l.Star Sitter
“Alice took care of my dog Pudding, while I was away, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her help. Pudding has separation anxiety and usually struggles when I’m not around, but under Alice’s attentive care, she stayed emotionally stable and happy the entire time. Alice was incredibly thoughtful—she made sure Pudding was well-fed, taken on regular walks, and given lots of love and attention. What gave me real peace of mind was how often she sent me videos and photos. It was clear that she genuinely cared, and I felt completely reassured knowing my dog was in such capable hands. To my surprise, Pudding actually became very attached to Alice—she’s now one of Pudding’s favorite people in the world, right after me and her dad! I wholeheartedly recommend Alice.”

Heather B.

The dogs were obviously in love with her and I found them upon my return in excellent shape and spirits. Highly recommended.”

Ciara M.
“Ciara minded my dog Archie for a week while my husband and I were away. Archie got to go on lots of walk around the city and we got regular updates with photos of his adventures.
