About: I have grown up with dogs, and my previous dog suffers from anxiety and calcifications meaning i am used to shy/anxious dogs and administering oral medication. Used to training reactive dogs as well. My family's last dog ended up blind and confused when he got old, so I also have some experience with special needs. I absolutely love going on walks and cuddling, doesn't matter if the dog needs to walk/play for hours or just a short 30 min walk, I am up for anything. I have no preference in terms of breed or size, my last dog was a Dachshund and I now have a staffy, but have looked after large dogs such as Great Danes and Boxers before. I am currently studying from home, so I am able to play/go out with the dog at any time. If your dog has certain times they are used to go outside/get food medications etc this will not be a problem. I live right next to a park so can easily go there to walk/play. Also have an unfenced garden if they just need a quick trip outside. With my own dog I am used to letting her be on the sofa/bed etc, but if this is something your dog normally isn’t allowed they will have a pillow they can lounge on. Just let me know what is/isn’t allowed and I will look after your dog anyway you want

“Bronagh and Kathryn were absolutely amazing with my kitty while we were away visiting family. I felt so secure knowing she was safe with them, and they sent regular updates and lots of photos to keep us in the loop!”

“My dog stays with her every weekend, as she is very nice and take care of my Bella very well. I used this app many times, many dog-walkers but no one can look after my dog with such a care. Thank You”

About: With over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, including rescuing and fostering strays, I’ve developed a deep love and understanding of canine needs. I work from home, which allows me to provide your dog with constant attention, companionship, and timely care throughout the day. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to treating every dog like family. Whether it’s a playful pup or a senior dog needing extra TLC, I adjust my approach to suit each pet’s unique personality and needs. I’m experienced with feeding routines, basic training, and administering medication if needed. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I strive to create a calm and loving environment where they feel truly at home. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I work from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, walks, feeding, and lots of love and attention throughout the day. I usually start my mornings early with outdoor time or a walk, and I can easily adjust my day to match your pet’s needs, whether that’s a midday walk, medication schedule, or just extra cuddle time. Weekends are also open, so your pet will never feel rushed or left out. As an in-home pet sitter, I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for your beloved pets. I understand the importance of maintaining their routine and surroundings to minimize stress while you’re away. Safety First: I adhere strictly to your pet’s established schedule, including feeding times, walks, and any medical needs. I ensure that all doors and gates are securely closed and that your home remains as you left it. Building Trust: I believe in open and honest communication. Before any booking, I offer a meet-and-greet to get acquainted with you and your pet, discuss any specific needs, and answer any questions you may have. During the sitting period, I provide regular updates with photos and messages to keep you informed and reassured. Respecting Your Home: I treat your home with the utmost respect, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout my stay. I follow any specific instructions you provide regarding household routines or pet care. Emergency Preparedness: I am prepared to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently, with access to your preferred veterinarian and emergency contacts as needed. Your pet’s well-being and your peace of mind are my top priorities. I strive to provide a nurturing and secure environment, ensuring your pet feels loved and cared for in your absence.

“Allyson has taken fantastic care of Nausy! We've come home to a very happy and well fed cat. Allyson was communicative, kept us in the loop of when she was visiting and leaving, and left us very funny and cute photos and updates. Thank you again!”

“Shea looked after our cat Zeus, who can be quite anxious around new people. To my amazement, Zeus let her pet him and give him some tlc from the start! She sent photos and updates after every visit, also paying attention to informing us about how he was doing, not just the tasks she’d fulfilled. She’s absolutely lovely, professional and very caring with our boy. I came home to a chilled and happy cat. Will look to Shea first as our cat sitter, she’s amazing. Thank you Shea!”

“Anna was so friendly and professional. She made us feel really comfortable with leaving our cat in her care. She sent updates and photos with every visit which was much appreciated.”

About: I am Giulia, I live with my partner and our corgi Mortimer in a flat in the heart of Edinburgh. We are close to The Meadow (if your buddies love to meet new friends), Holyrood Park (if they prefer a more peaceful and calm park) and to a small park just behind the flat, perfect for a wee walk. Mortimer is very friendly and always happy to spend time with new dog friends :) I have always had huge love for animals and especially dogs. Since I was younger I volunteered at my local shelter back in Italy, taking care of dogs and walk them. This experience has been very important to me, I had the chance to learn how to approach many dogs with different personalities, and also with no-longer-puppies with trust issues. It has been years since we started dog boarding and walking and it has been a great experience. We will do our best to provide a loving home for your furry best friends while you are away! We want to keep your dog's routine as much stable as we can, providing as much cuddles, exercise and play as he/she needs! :) I can't wait to know your furry fellas! I work full time but I have a flexible schedule and can work remotely if needed. I usually give my dog a long walk/play in the morning and after work, and a shorter one at lunch and before going to bed. My flat is close to The Meadow (if your buddies love to meet new friends), Holyrood Park (if they prefer a more peaceful and calm park) and to a small park just behind the flat, perfect for a wee walk.

About: I’have been a dog dad for 3 years now and thanks to my dog I understood how I appreciate dogs company and friendship. I have two dogs, both girls and they are part of our family. I had them since they were puppies and I have been training them. I have experience with rescue dogs since both of my dogs are rescue and one of my dog has also a little disability. I understand dogs needs from playing, go for a walk or just respecting their solo time. Working from home 4 days per week so I can keep an eye on your pet at anytime and provide walking very often I also live near a park and grass so I can go there with no problem I already have 2 dogs at home a I already keep plants and food out of reach. I always have water bowls ready to drink and my 2 female dogs are sprayed and fully vaccinated, they also love to stay with other dogs but at the same time they are very indipendenti dogs.

About: I have been a dog (and assorted other pets) owner all my life, and have often pet-sat for friends and family. I have a beautiful maturing German Shepherd, who has proven to be a great influence on all the dogs we have looked after; despite her youth, she is incredible at adjusting her behaviour to suit almost any dog. Your dog(s) will be looked after as if they were one of our own, with any individual requirements paid due attention. We have a large enclosed garden, and are within 10-15mins of several lovely wooded areas, along with a few waterways - there is plenty of variety for long and short walks, so your baby will never be bored. We typically do a few short walks throughout the day, with one big long walk in the morning or evening to really explore and get tired out. We are more than happy to help work on improving any commands you feel need special attention. We also have a cat who sometimes comes along on walks on his harness and is extremely unbothered by dogs. Between them, the dog and cat have been wonderful in socialising and desensitising some of the dogs we know. I will consider hosting unneutered dogs and bitches in season on a case-by-case basis, provided you are happy for them not to be allowed off leash so we avoid any unwanted pregnancies! 🤗 We have a car, and would be happy to provide pick-up/drop-off if required for a small charge depending on distance and length of booking. Any questions, please let us know! I currently work from home, with time in the office as needed. As I have my own dogs, I am already well used to managing their needs around my work and responsibilities. We usually go for a short walk in the mornings before getting started, with a longer walk around lunchtime and/or in the evening depending on the time of year. I have a designated space for our canine houseguests to relax, however most of their time is spent with us in the main living space. If need be, we are able to crate them overnight, or they can sleep in the bedroom on our very comfortable doggy alcove. We also have a secure enclosed garden which the dogs have use of for any late night wee's, or if they can't handle longer walks for any reason (too young, in recovery, reactive, in season, etc.) and just need an outside space to enjoy.

About: This profile is both Ellen and Finley. We are two friends new to Edinburgh that love dogs! We have both had dogs in our lives for as long as we can remember! Finley has had dogs as pets since he was a kid and his family currently have a gorgeous Irish Doodle called Eddie! Ellen has also had dogs throughout her life and loves looking after them :) We have been friends for 7 years and just moved to Edinburgh in January! Finley works full time from home and Ellen is looking for work at the moment but is training to be a florist part time. We have a very warm and cosy home for your furry baby to get comfortable during these cold days and my flat is located right by Calton Hill which is perfect for a good walk whenever is needed.

“I’m incredibly grateful to Siyi for taking such amazing care of my dog, Jumi. She is truly a responsible and loving dog sitter. Not only did she provide Jumi with plenty of tasty and nutritious treats, but she also made sure that my dog felt safe, happy, and loved at home. Jumi can be quite timid and anxious around new people, but Siyi was incredibly patient and attentive to her needs. She took the time to understand Jumi’s personality, creating a calm and reassuring environment that really helped her feel at ease. It was clear that Siyi genuinely cares about animals—she didn’t just “watch” Jumi, she bonded with her. I came home to a relaxed, content pup, and I could tell that she had a wonderful time. I would absolutely recommend Siyi to anyone looking for a sitter who treats your pet like family. She goes above and beyond, and I wouldn’t hesitate to ask for her help again.”

“Giulia, whom I initially found advertising her pet-sitting services on Facebook, took care of my two beloved dogs for 12 days whilst I was abroad. From the first time I met her I could see that she is a genuine animal lover, she always kept me posted about the well-being of my pooches sending also pictures and videos over the phone and has shown to be a responsible and sensible person. “I know Kassandra for few years. We lived in a same block of apartment . I was looking for someone who can care for my pet when we go in holiday. I have used other people before every time when we go to pick up Nella , she was very stressed. We got to know Kassandra and asked her to look after Nella, we were worried when we were away in holiday how she is and is she been looked after fine. To put us in ease Kassandra send us pictures to show us Nella settled in well and got a lot of cuddles . When we picked her up she was happy and healthy. I highly recommend Kassandra for caring for anyone’s pet . A+++”
