“Abby is a cheerful person who is able to keep us updates on our cat's progress with photos and videos sent. As we missed our cat a lot during our vacation, I think it's good to have a CCTV in place next time so as to view our cat frequently.”

“Jasmine was wonderful with Rags staying with him overnight. He was happy and content when we got back and I got lots of photos while we were away. 5 🌟 Will be having her back again!”

About: I have owned dogs, cats, fish and birds over my life time and have some experience handing farm animals and home pets (rabbits etc) I have just completed a 2 year full time Equine Management qualification and am looking for work I am presently flexible 7 days a week during working hours. I do not have a car, so I would preferably be working in walking distance of Canterbury City Centre. I would look after the pets in which I am taking care of respectfully and safely, as well as to the owners home. I am happy to help with training, walks and feeding times or any other extra necessary jobs for your pet.

About: Hello fellow animal lovers! I have had animals throughout my life (mostly cats, dogs, and fish) and can't get enough of them! I am a cat momma to two wonderful kitties who are my world and I’d show your animals the same affection. I’m originally from the USA and moved my cat, Franklin, to the UK with me three years ago. We adopted another kitty, Tessa, in December 2024 and I couldn’t have asked for better cat siblings. Before moving to the UK, I worked at an animal rescue charity in California and spent most of my time in the cattios soaking in the kitty snuggles. I helped with a range of jobs, from feeding, cleaning litter trays, to administering medication injections and pills. I’ve got loads of time for animals, so let’s chat about your animal care needs while you’re out of town! I’ve been caring for other people’s animals, both in house care and drop in visits, for over a decade. I can provide various duties from cleaning litter boxes, to administering medicines, and of course play time! I’m available throughout the summer and have access to a car. I’m also happy to water plants and gardens as needed and will ensure your house is well looked after while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends and I assure you, your animals will be in good hands so you can leave town stress free! I’m happy to provide drop in visits in the morning and evening. If you live farther away, the morning visit will be a bit earlier so my husband can use the car to get to work. If you’re within walking/ cycling distance from my house or office (I work in Canterbury city centre), I can stop in as and when needed. I finish work Monday-Friday at 5.30pm and will be free to visit with your animals then. I am free most weekends or happy to plan my weekend accordingly. I would follow the pet care instructions you provide to care for your animal so that they continue their normal routine and don’t get stressed out while you’re away.

“Richard is great with my two rescue dogs, Peggy and Winston. They’re still settling in and Winston can be nervous in new situations, but have very quickly settled with Richard. He’s friendly and reliable, and accommodating at short notice. Highly recommended.”

About: I've had pets ever since I was as young as age 7. I started out with goldfish in a small aquarium. Owning pets when I was young helped me to grow into a more empathetic and compassionate person. I also used to have pet guinea pigs, and now I have a cat. Having these mammals has allowed me excellent opportunities to form bonds with animals early on, and practice for bonding with future pets. I also attended Hadlow College Canterbury for 3 years and did animal care courses. I worked with goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs in their outside yard. In their indoor area, I also worked with small rodents, reptiles and even amphibians. For all of those animals, I was given training on how to clean them out, how to handle them, give them the right amount of food, and how to perform a health check. Qualifications acheived: •Foundation in animal care •Level 1 diploma in animal care •Level 2 diploma in animal care I am highly flexible and can fit pet care around my normal daily routine. This is throughout both weekdays and weekends. I am able to to late evenings or early mornings should you request. I have cat toys and scratching posts that are provided for my cat to be stimulated. I feed him twice a day, once in the morning with nuggets and once in the evening with a sashe.

About: I Just Want to Hangout with Your Pet! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I’m currently full time at home! My husband works from home and my children now attend school full time. I have so much spare time and would absolutely love to start caring for pets! I do have a 1year old male Shih Tzu ! He is absolutely adorable! He is my best friend. He is so good with other dogs and cats. Walking is in our daily routine. I ensure he gets plenty of fun walks having fun in the mud! I understand how to deal with behavioural issues with dogs. I’ve always had dogs and been around dogs since my childhood. I can confidently deal with their meals and toileting. Trained all my pet dogs. Although I haven’t had cats as a pet. My sister and mum owns a cat. I’m good around cats and understand their mentality and know when to give them their space! I have a large garden front and back. My back garden is fenced and absolutely no way out for escape. My home is my pride. I live in a clean new build 4 bedroom spaced home. There is a massive green space surrounding my home so walking is absolutely priority and easy!

“Natalia came to look after my two little fluff balls. Natalia kept us updated through out and sent pictures of Molly and Finbar to let me know how they were doing. They loved having her look after them. Would definitely use Natalia again. Thank you Natalia!”

About: I have grown up with dogs in my family all my life and have my own dog Rosie who is an old Frenchie. She is getting on a bit so I am looking forward to walking and caring for other more active dogs. I’m very relaxed around dogs and enjoy their company. I am good with all ages of dog. I have a young daughter and I’ve set up my own business so I’m looking to earn some extra income alongside this. I’ll communicate quickly to help you make arrangements that suit you. I am a very considerate and attentive person and will look after any dog or cat in my care responsibly. If they have special dietary needs or other requirements I can cater to them. I know lots of good local walks to take them on to burn off energy. When doing house visits I will treat your home with care and make sure your pet is comfortable and has everything it needs. I am fully covered by insurance for professional dog and pet care.

About: Hi & Thanks for viewing my profile. ☺️ I’m Sangeeta (G as in Guitar). I’m a full-time creative who works from home in Canterbury and I absolutely adore animals. Prior to lockdown, for many years I lived and worked in New York City, transferring back to be close to family in London to during the pandemic. I’ve had three dogs & three cats since childhood, learning a lot from a very young age to become a very experienced talker, walker, carer & trainer of both cats & dogs. I’m very intuitive and appreciate first-hand each pet/s unique personality and traits. I take great care to make sure they feel safe, comfortable and at home with me; making space so they can spread out as well as snuggle up close beside me. Typically, care includes, feeding, walking, bathing and giving medication, as well as extra snacks and dedicated playtime. For clarity, my recent absence was sadly due to the loss of my beautiful little songwriting partner and Boycat Kai a few months ago. He was Maine Coon rescue, who climbed into my arms at just 8 months old and flew 1st class with me from Manhattan back to the UK. I’m grateful we lived a wonderful life travelling the world together, making music and mischief until his peaceful transition last December, as I held him in the very same embrace, 17 years on. I’m not yet ready for another furbaby of my own, but caring for animals and having them around brings me so much joy and peace, I’m ready now to accept new clients and bookings. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to arrange a meet and greet. I sincerely welcome the opportunity to meet you and perhaps for your pet/s to stay as my guest. 🙏🏽 I look forward to hearing from you and wish you well in the meanwhile. Thanks. Sangeeta ⭐️ I work from home and have a lot of flexibility. Depending on what you need I'm sure we can make it work. I’m always open to a meet and greet so that our pets have socialised and become comfortable before they come to stay. Your pet will most likely be my only fur guest during their stay; therefore have free rein and my full attention. ☺️ I’m very vigilant - animal safety comes first. If you do wish to leave your dog or cat with me, know that I have a fenced garden and live in a bungalow with plenty of space for safety, comfort and quiet. Our schedule during their stay, is organised around their comfort and well-being as the priority. I love sharing updates and happy moments, so you’ll have plenty of photos and videos each day and throughout their stay, or as you prefer.

About: I got my first pup, Toby, when I was around 12 years old and quickly fell in love with him. He’s a teacup yorkie, so so tiny but a dog with the biggest heart ever! He’s my dog so I had the responsibility of walking him everyday, making sure he’s fed every morning and given an overload of pets and love. When my grandfather passed away in 2021, my family decided to take in his sweet boy, Rosco, a big husky-german shepherd mix. Even though he was five times larger than Toby, caring for him came naturally and he and Toby were practically brothers within an instant. Sadly Ross recently passed away from doggie cancer :( Although he’s gone, his heart will always remain with me. I wake up pretty early so I’m always up in time to feed my dogs on time. I’m also very active so I like to go on walks in general so having them with me makes it a bit more fun. I am a full time student living abroad so my time with my pets has been limited to the summer and christmas holidays but when I’m home I spend 24/7 with them. I take them for drives, to parks, or even just to run errands with me. They’re never alone for long amounts of time when I’m back in my hometown. My backyard is fenced off so dogs can’t escape onto the main road. I also don’t like to leave dogs unattended for great amounts of time just because I don’t want them to feel forgotten and also just to keep a close eye on them so they don’t get up to mischief.

About: I have been a cat owner for 3 years but before that, I was experienced with taking care of my neighbour's dogs and cats. Right now My landlady has 4 dogs and I help her from time to time to take care of their needs. They are lovely and sometimes they sleep with me. I am a current master's student in advanced computer science but I am mostly free afternoons and weekends. I am experienced with walking with dogs and can make sure of their safety. I own a cat which is my life so I can understand the bond between a pet and and the owner. I only go to clients' houses for overnight stays. I also can adapt the style and or any drills that your dog gets used to it. So it will be easier for them to be with someone stranger and easier for me to bond with them to make sure they feel safe and secure

About: My family has loved animals since childhood. We had hamsters, fish, cats and dogs. Now my mother has two Dobermans and a second dog from a shelter, and my family has a cat and a dog that everyone loves. They are members of our family and I know that animals will never betray a person. I’m currently working part-time and I can help owns dogs and cat with them. I love pets and I hope that everything will good. I know how need take care of animals. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dog and cat to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

About: I have been taking care of my own 3 cats for 8 years since I was 12. They are now 6 years old and 10 years old. I can offer dog walking, pet sitting. If interested, here is an account to have a look at my lovely cats- @catsis_catsis on instagram. I am currently on holidays so I am available at any time and day. I cannot do late night dog walking. Latest dog walk would be 8pm. I have a fenced garden which can allow dogs to play in. We have doors that separate kitchen and living room. I can also walk dogs to moors and parks.

About: I have volunteered as a dog walker for The Cinnamon Trust since 2017 and have been dogsitting since 2018. I am fully insured. I am canine first aid trained, having completed a course provided by Pet Owners First Aid, and have a certificate in Animal Psychology and Behaviourism (CPD and IAP accredited). I have experience caring for dogs of a wide variety of breeds, ages, sizes, and needs. People often comment on the ease with which I bond with dogs and earn their trust. I work full-time for a local charity, but my working arrangements are flexible and I split my time between working at home and in the office. This enables me to arrange my schedule around looking after your dog. I live in a ground floor flat with my partner. There are no stairs which makes it especially suitable for older dogs or those who struggle with stairs for other reasons. It's a quiet, calm household and we have no children or pets of our own. I don't have a garden, but there is shared outdoor grassy space for toilet breaks, and I am a five minute walk from a large park. Depending on individual behaviour/requirements and your own rules, I'm happy to allow the dogs I look after in all rooms and on furniture. My priority is that they are relaxed and comfortable. I have space for a crate in my kitchen so can easily crate your dog if needed. I have a camera set up so I can check on your dog if I need to leave the house during their stay.

We were surprised and very happy that he could connect with the cat so well.”

I know that whenever I leave the four legged love of my life - 4 year old golden retriever husky cross - with her she will be cared for just like if she was with me. Most likely even better :) Sophie knows how to pay attention to dogs, how to tune into their needs and how to make sure that they won’t be homesick but cared for like on their own special holiday. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone who needs a sitter!”
