About: I'm a lifelong pet owner, including horses, cats and - most notably - dogs. I've raised and cared for three dogs from puppies through to old age, plus adopting one rescue dog. These have been Alsatians, Welsh Collies and (we think!) some kind of Whippet/ Saluki cross. I've also got plenty of experience with a range of other breeds through friends and family. I understand that the most important thing for your own and your pet's happiness is to support your care and training approach, and am committed to working with you to keep everyone's tails wagging! I work flexibly from home, so can generally be very flexible in terms of availability. The only day with limited availability is a Sunday, due to family commitments, but otherwise can work around your schedule. Within your home, I would look to maintain a normal routine as much as possible to minimise any impact on your dog. I am happy to dispense medication, as well as feed, entertain and walk. I can also water plants and provide basic care for other pets if required. I understand and respect that this is your home, and would look to return it to you in the same condition it was in at the beginning of the visit.
“Suzie has been walking Dolly for a few months now and I cannot recommended Suzie highly enough. Dolly loves her. Suzie is very conscientious, always on time, any problems she lets you know straightaway.”

“5 stars for Katrina and her sister!!! Really friendly, confident and very knowledgeable and considerate to Ruby. Ruby can be a bit shy but really enjoyed the walk with the girls!! Thank you and highly recommended 😁”

About: I am the pet parent of two large rescue dogs that are now getting on in years - but I’ve seen it all! I’ve been a regular dog walker for neighbours, so I’m familiar with all ages from puppy through to senior, and all personalities including high-energy breeds, reactive dogs, and those that pull. I know great local routes for doggie adventures tailored to your pet’s needs. I work from home on a flexible schedule, and am always interested in an opportunity for a brisk walk or a home visit with a furry friend. I'm often available for last minute bookings. Each dog has unique needs, and I am careful to follow any instructions specific to your pet, including reinforcing your training routines. I prioritize your pet’s safety, having completed a dog emergency first aid course. When doing house visits I will ensure your home remains secure and clean while providing personalized care to keep your pet comfortable and happy.
“Marie was prompt in getting in touch, happily popped in to meet us and Perrie and Gracie had a fab time! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Marie to anyone looking for a confident, professional, kind dog walker! Thank you Marie! X”

About: Hello there I’m Nicola, a caring and highly experienced dog walker/ sitter serving Canterbury and surrounding villages. I only look after solo pets and those from the same household. My 'speciality' is reassuring nervous dogs (as well as anxious owners!) I can be flexibly with my availability; whether you need regular weekday walks or occasional pet services. I work fully remotely so make a great daytime companion (I am a part-time researcher/ advocate for refugee rights). If you require a pet service not explicit on my profile do get in touch, I am always open to new ideas and learning new skills. I have had rescue dogs throughout my life, including "failed" police dogs and elderly dogs. Previously, I fostered Romanian rescue dogs, ahead of helping them find their forever homes. I have cared for puppies, elderly pets and those with mobility and/ or health considerations. I already have some regular dog walking Clients but have recently gained capacity to take on more work (I am new to Rover). I am now also available for pet sitting whether at my home or yours. I have an enclosed garden, and my home is located a short distance from public footpaths and fields. After saying goodbye to my beloved fur-son last year I do not currently have pets myself (still too bereft!) I have a primary school aged child who is very used to dogs of all ages and sizes (but this would need to be considered ahead of overnight stays my home). I have 25+ years' experience caring for my own/ other people's pets, including in their own homes. As well as previously fostering Romanian rescue dogs, I have cared for puppies, elderly pets and those with health considerations. I am also highly experienced in working with vulnerable people. I hold an enhanced DBS check and my own insurance.

“We highly recommend Cheri. In addition to being very professional and reliable, our dog immediately clearly enjoyed being with her. Cheri took the time to understand our dog's needs and preferences. It's great to know our dog is in such good hands. Five stars!”

About: I have been surrounded by pets my entire life! I grew up in multi-pet household, so am completely comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I recently purchased my own flat and am thrilled to finally be able to welcome pets into my warm and loving home. My work schedule means that I get Tuesday Wednesday off work so that your pet will have around the clock care, company and unlimited cuddles during their stay with me. I work in sales, which gives me two weekdays off to dedicate fully to walks, playtime, and cuddles. My partner Ryan is home on weekends to provide extra love and supervision, ensuring your pet is never lonely. We treat every pet like family and are comfortable with puppies, senior care, managing multiple pets (if from the same household) and following specific routines. We can't wait to welcome your dog (or cat!) into our home! 🐾 The safety and comfort of your pet are our top priorities. Our flat provides a calm and secure home environment with fully hard floors throughout living spaces. Our building features a fenced, communal garden that is completely set back and secured away from any roads where your dog can safely enjoy some fresh air and supervised play. Although we have use of a garden, we both love to walk and are happy to provide as many walks a day as your dog requires to ensure your dog is happy, stimulated, and gets plenty of exercise. We will be fully focused on giving your dog individual attention and enrichment. Ryan and I always supervise playtime, both inside and outside the home. We also strictly follow all feeding, medical, and routine instructions provided by you, ensuring a seamless and worry-free stay.

About: Since the age of 15 I have been caring for my own dogs. I have had a Doberman and a French Bulldog- two very different characters and both the reason why I have such a love for dogs. I cared for our dogs from 8-10 weeks old so have experience in toilet training and behaviour training. My dogs are sadly no longer with us so I now have a pet free home. I have been a nanny for most of my life and within this I care for their dogs too. I love keeping dogs company, playing with them and caring for them in any way they need or are used to. I also love finding new places to walk whether that be at the beach, woods or playing fields in the area. I also often care for my friends dogs when they are on holiday. Two of these being a Cane Corso and a Staffy. Both of which came to stay with me. One is crate trained and the other wasn't, but I am happy to adapt the care around your pets needs. As from Jan 26, I will be available Thursday-Sunday for walks & boarding also available Thursday-Sunday. Please check my calendar for weekly availability. I can also fit in pop ins and house sitting when needed. I will follow the routine you have with your pet as much as possible. If they are crate trained, you will need to provide the crate. I have a fenced garden for their use and lots of local walks so they will get plenty of exercise while here. My house is spacious enough for larger dogs. I will always be aware of safety in the summer- I will walk dogs early morning on hot days and always provide plenty of water and a cooling mat. I will love your dogs just as they were my own.
