About: I am originally from North Yorkshire and have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life; my first being a Labrador called Shawkie and a Shetland Sheepdog called Pepper. Since then, I have grown up with Border Collies and shorthaired cats. I have since moved to Kent, and I now have my own cat named Nova, who I have had since she was 11 weeks old. I have helped friends and family from a young age with walking and caring for their own dogs, and then went on to work at a boarding kennel and cattery before becoming a Zoo Keeper. I have always had a passion for dogs and cats and someday dream of having my own dog. I am happy to walk and play with any dog breed no matter the size! I love the outdoors and would be willing to walk your dog no matter the weather. I have recently picked up photography as a new hobby and I am more than happy to take plenty of photos of your dog ok their walks for you to see :) I am currently taking a little break from work due to personal reasons and am available at any time, any day of the week no matter the weather :) I have held two DBS certificates both for a school/college and for the military. Being a Zoo Keeper means I have had several years of training in animal care and safety as well as dog and cat specific care from working at a kennels. I have been trained previously in the administration of medication both oral and injections from a licensed vet while working as a Zoo Keeper so I am able to comfortably meet any care requirements you may have. I am happy to allow your dog off lead during walks, provided they are well-trained and you would like them off lead, otherwise they will be fully leaded while on walks. I do also have a fenced garden at my house for any short play sessions :)

About: I've always grown up around a range of animals, from cats, dogs, tortoises and more. Forever I have been deemed the animal whisperer of my family, and therefore have always been the go to pet sitter, dog walker, and overall one trusted to look after their pets as if they were my own. As a pet owner and animal lover myself, I understand the importance of good quality, trustworthy care for your pets, as they are truly family. My experience in dogsitting friends and families dogs on multiple occasions, walking their dogs from childhood to now, and volunteering with the RSPCA alongside work experience, paired with my passion for loving your pet as if it were my own, leads me to be a safe and reliable choice for taking care of your beloved pet! Now that I am done with my A levels, I am taking a gap year before university to save up and travel, due to never being on a plane, or even leaving the country before! Due to my position as a gap year student, I am unable to offer boarding at my own home, and am limited on overnight stays, restricted to Aylesham, Kent for that service unless it is a short stay within Canterbury. However when it comes to dog walking, I am flexible with any reasonable times throughout Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, thursday and Sunday, and can be booked to make multiple visits to your home to feed/play/give some love to your pet throughout the daytime! I am well knowledged on the different challenges each breed brings, and how to adapt my care to suit your dogs own personality and needs. It will be ensured that I am well informed on your pet before care is given, and due to my experience volunteering with the RSPCA I am well aware and understand animal welfare standards of care and will ensure your pet is treated the best it can be through my care.

About: Hello there I’m Nicola, a caring and highly experienced dog walker/ sitter serving Canterbury and surrounding villages. I only look after solo pets and those from the same household. My 'speciality' is reassuring nervous dogs (as well as anxious owners!) I can be flexibly with my availability; whether you need regular weekday walks or occasional pet services. I work fully remotely so make a great daytime companion (I am a part-time researcher/ advocate for refugee rights). If you require a pet service not explicit on my profile do get in touch, I am always open to new ideas and learning new skills. I have had rescue dogs throughout my life, including "failed" police dogs and elderly dogs. Previously, I fostered Romanian rescue dogs, ahead of helping them find their forever homes. I have cared for puppies, elderly pets and those with mobility and/ or health considerations. I already have some regular dog walking Clients but have recently gained capacity to take on more work (I am new to Rover). I am now also available for pet sitting whether at my home or yours. I have an enclosed garden, and my home is located a short distance from public footpaths and fields. After saying goodbye to my beloved fur-son last year I do not currently have pets myself (still too bereft!) I have a primary school aged child who is very used to dogs of all ages and sizes (but this would need to be considered ahead of overnight stays my home). About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have had a cat throughout my life, so animals have always been a bit part of my life. My grandparents also used to regularly dog-sit, which meant that I grew up around lots of different dogs and loved caring for them. I’m a genuine animal lover and would treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. About: I Just Want to Hangout with Your Pet! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. About: Throughout my life we’ve always had dogs, cats and even reptiles- from Yorkshire terriers and beared dragons up to Boa constrictors and our current Rottweilers I’ve personally trained 4 Rottweilers (3 males 1 bitch) and had the pleasure of raising over 30 pups over the years. As with all big dogs it’s a short life and we’ve recently lost 3 of our 4 (13yrs, 12yrs and 11yrs) a great innings considering their life expectancy we lost our girl due to old age and two males due to cancer- Due to the incredible focus needed to have these breeds it’s given me and my partner great first hand experience of dealing with power, reactive behaviour and general big dog issues. We swear and live by proactive measures ensuring that we avoid tense situations and all cost and do all teaching via reinforcement and care. We spend all and every weekend exploring the uk countryside with Odin, so we’re looking to be able to care for dogs that fit into that lifestyle We live on a large boat, which is out of the water at the moment- we have safety nets and ramps set up so all areas are accessible and safe. Any dog staying with us overnight will have their own cabin onboard :)

I have a fenced garden, and I live right next to a lovely park and have woods nearby, so dogs can easily go out to use the toilet and will get regular walks. Cats have a litter tray in my large double bedroom and will have full run of the large house.
