“Martin enjoyed his walk with Martha. Lots of sniffs and today, lots of wees! He cries when Martha leaves but will probably be asleep soon dreaming about his lovely walk. Martha is so good with him.”
About: I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, and genuinely enjoy providing the combination of exercise, enrichment, and calm companionship that helps pets feel settled while you’re away. I have particular experience with rescue dogs, including former street rescues, and with terrier breeds ranging from Airedales to Patterdales, but love pets of all shapes and sizes. I understand that some pets need a little extra patience, structure, or confidence, and I’m comfortable working with individual quirks, behavioural needs, and reinforcing existing training routines. Alongside dogs, I’m also experienced caring for cats in their own homes and am happy managing multi-pet households with different routines and personalities. My approach is always to meet each animal where they are, helping them feel safe, relaxed, and secure in their familiar environment. Whether your pet needs long walks and playtime or simply consistent, reassuring care, I aim to provide a reliable and calm presence so both you and your pets can feel completely at ease. I'm available for pet sitting or boarding 6 days per week all day and overnight. I'm also available for shorter walks throughout the day on weekdays and long walks on weekends. In your home I can provide care 24/7 with frequent toilet breaks and walks that align with your pets needs. Also happy to work on training, play or snuggle up on the sofa whatever your pet likes to do! If you are boarding your pet at mine I have a fully fenced garden and one friendly medium/small dog. We are a child free household and me and my partner live here.
“Paul took exceptional care of Bono over the Christmas and New Year period, and we could not have asked for a better carer. While his main role was walking Bono, he also went above and beyond by being attentive to our pets at home while my wife and I were travelling. He was kind, reliable, and genuinely invested in making sure Bono was happy, safe, and well exercised, and it was clear from the start that Bono absolutely loved him. His regular updates gave us complete peace of mind, and he treated our home and pets with great care and respect. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet carer.”

About: I have two dogs of my own and have looked after my friend’s dogs for long periods. Have trained two dachshund puppies from 8 weeks including crate training. I have even fostered an anxious dachshund, who became much more chilled and relaxed in my presence. I’m currently working from home and am able to look after your dogs whilst in my home, as I have two of my own. I am able to let them out for toilet breaks regularly and play/walk with them on my breaks. I have a high fenced garden and high fenced garden gate. The front door is not left open. Our home is minimalistic and clean with a big basket of toys
About: I've taken care of pets throughout childhood (we owned two cats) and have been around dogs for a similar amount of time. My extended family always had dogs, from Jack Russell's and Cockapoos to Labradors. I loved them all and enjoy getting to know their individual personalities. I'm home most of the time, occasionally I have to be away in London. I would be able to travel local to Whitstable / Herne Bay and care for your dog as needed (walks or daycare). Or alternatively I can offer daycare at my home. There is a large garden at the back that dogs love to explore! I'm often in the back patio working so I can keep and eye on them. There are no other pets here so they will have all the space (and attention...) I know a few good walking spots in the local area. If there is a preferred route or grounds you'd like me to take your dog, please let me know.

About: I've grown up with dogs and cats and adore them all. I live in Herne Bay with my partner, so we'll both be available to care for your pet! I'm currently studying accounting, and my partner works part-time as a taxi driver and studies personal training, so there'll always be one, if not both, of us available for you and your pet! We live in a flat - while it's without a garden, we're a 2-minute walk from a large park. As for caring for pets in an owner's home, we are both very tidy and respectful.
“Katie is always absolutely fantastic while taking care of Bono during my work trips. She regularly shares lovely updates and photos from their walks, and it is clear that Bono thoroughly enjoys her company. Katie is extremely kind and reliable, and I could tell Bono felt comfortable and happy with her from the start. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of him — highly recommended!”

About: Hi, I’m James. My wife Heather and I love animals and having both grown up living with an array of pets, dogs, cats, birds (ducks&chickens, budgies) Lizards and tortoises. All companions are loved and admired. Resultantly, from our vast experiences, with different kinds of companions and personalities, we can recognise behavioural traits and understand what it is your boy(s) or girl(s) want / need. We had our own girl (Ellie, as seen in the pictures) unfortunately illness took her so we no other animals at home. So your furry friends will have our undivided attention. Heather, is home all day and we have access to a garden. We live less than 20ft from the sea so your furry friends will have the beauty of the sea to enjoy on walks as part of their daily routine when staying. We look forward to be able to look after your beloved family members. Heather is free and at home all week and able to provide the daily care your friend deserves. Daily walk, ATTENTION, food and drink. However, I return from work approximately 6pm (Tuesday-Saturday) when we would then go for an evening walk before dinner and bed. We believe it is important to build trust with your furry friend by joining in with them with the activities they love. The atmosphere within our home is very relaxed. We believe that our furry friends need a strong routine and a loving environment to thrive. We have an array of both physical and mental stimulating toys so they’ll never be bored.
About: Caring, experienced sitter who treats your pets like family. I follow their routine and support training to keep them happy, relaxed, and loved while you're away. As a freelance video editor working from home, my schedule is incredibly flexible. I can work from anywhere at any time, which allows me to fully adapt to your pet’s needs. Whether it's popping in for visits, staying overnight, or keeping your furry friend company throughout the day, I can easily adjust my workflow to provide attentive and consistent care, giving you peace of mind while you're away. I’m also quite active, so walking is already part of my daily routine and it’s always better with a four-legged friend by my side. I have experience managing multiple cat-sitting jobs at once and know how to balance my time to ensure each animal gets the attention they deserve. I'm happy to follow your pet's usual schedule and routines to help them feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free in your absence. I'm confident caring for pets with different personalities, ages, and needs, whether they require active playtime or a gentle, quiet presence. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze in. It’s a meaningful part of my lifestyle and something that brings real joy to my day. Whether I’m staying in your home or welcoming your pet into mine, I aim to provide care that is thoughtful, reliable, and tailored to your pet’s comfort. In a pet owner's home, I always respect your space and privacy, using only what is needed and ensuring everything is kept tidy and clean. I take pride in leaving things better than I found them. I follow all instructions carefully, as they help ensure your pet’s routine stays consistent and everyone has peace of mind. I’m happy to offer overnight stays, whether for a single night or several weeks, and have already done this for a number of cat-sitting clients. When pets stay in my own home, they get plenty of walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. I live in a flat, but I provide regular walks and quick pee breaks as needed to make sure they are comfortable and content. Regardless of the setting, I believe pet care is about more than just feeding and walking. I spend real quality time with each pet, whether that is playtime, brushing, or simply being a calm and reassuring presence so they do not feel lonely. I send daily updates with photos or videos depending on your preference and am always happy to go the extra mile. That might include watering plants, taking out bins, collecting post, or even feeding a friendly hedgehog in your garden.
“Suzie has been walking Dolly for a few months now and I cannot recommended Suzie highly enough. Dolly loves her. Suzie is very conscientious, always on time, any problems she lets you know straightaway.”
