About: I have had dogs for over 23 years with having 3 Springer Spaniels, I have always been kept active. Since taking early retirement I am at home all day with no dogs as ours sadly passed last year. I have all the time and attention to welcome your fur baby into our home. I have a large garden, totally secure and close to the beach, where I love to walk dogs. I know from my own experiences of having our own dogs looked after while away, how much you miss them and need reassurance that they are happy and look after, just like they would be in your own home. I am happy to give medicine if required, I have no other pets or children and a non smoker. I have put that I will accept large dogs however my preference is nothing over 25kg. I am now retired and at home all day. I Live with my husband who is also a dog lover and enjoys dog walks. Your dog will not be left on their own as my husband is happy to look after them while I pop out to the shops. Your dog will get 3 walks a day if required and plenty of play in the garden, I have a large secure garden and live on a quite road, a few minutes from the beach. Having dogs for over 20 years, our home has always been a home for dogs, including cuddles on the sofa. We do not have many visitors or any children at home. If your dog is nervous of new people we would be happy to not have visitors during their stay. I would walk your dog on the lead at all times. Our last springer was a rescue and quite nervous of other dogs, therefore if your dog is nervous you can be reassured that we are use to dealing with this. All our springers have lived a long life, therefore use to dealing with senior dogs. Since retiring I have volunteered at the Dog Trust for 5 years, which has given me more experience with working with different breeds.

I am also available to do house visits in which I can let out your pooch, feed and provide some company for them. Or pet sit in which I care for them for a prolonged period of time, duties would then be discussed with owner. We live less than 20ft from the sea so your furry friends will have the beauty of the sea to enjoy on walks as part of their daily routine when staying. We look forward to be able to look after your beloved family members. Heather is free and at home all week and able to provide the daily care your friend deserves. Daily walk, ATTENTION, food and drink. However, I return from work approximately 6pm (Tuesday-Saturday) when we would then go for an evening walk before dinner and bed. We believe it is important to build trust with your furry friend by joining in with them with the activities they love. The atmosphere within our home is very relaxed. Later on my family got Scooby(Black Mouth Cur Great Dane mix), and Daisy(Pit Terrier mix). I currently have a flexible schedule during the day 6AM - 10PM (unless overnight stays are required). Let me know what time works best for your cat's meals/medication schedules. I offer a quiet loving home for my own cats, including toys, scratching pads, hiding spots, and plenty of loafing sites for them to choose from. I always try to make time to play with them each day so they stay sharp and healthy. They sleep every night in our bed and eat in the mornings and evenings. When we are away for a day, we use a food dispenser that is set on a timer. I prefer scheduling an initial meet and greet to discuss specific needs and give them a chance to become familiar with me. I am comfortable with administering medication, changing litter, and cleaning any accidents that may happen. I always take note of every special request for the pet/home and make sure to review everything with the pet owner.

I have even fostered an anxious dachshund, who became much more chilled and relaxed in my presence. Being a vet student has some perks as I've learnt about animal behaviour and welfare as well as how to properly care for your animal. Growing up I've had a variety of animals from fish and guinea pigs to dogs cats and horses many of which have been rescues, so am confident in my ability to deal with different animals with different temperaments. I understand the importance of routine, exercise and companionship, and I strive to create a safe loving environment for every pet I look after. I am also a qualified dog first aider and work as a small animal veterinary hospital so I have hands on experience working with poorly pets and pets with increased needs which reassures you your dog is in safe hands. As part of dog walking services, walks can be from 30 minutes up to an hour and a half dependent on the indivdual dog's needs and as discussed with owner. Off lead walking is dependent on how comfortable the owner is and how developed the dogs recall is, this however will be discussed with the owner. I am also available to do house visits in which I can let out your pooch, feed and provide some company for them. Or pet sit in which I care for them for a prolonged period of time, duties would then be discussed with owner. Whether its feeding, walking, administering medication, or simply offering cuddles I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m currently working part time across the road from my house so am close by so will have plenty of time to play with your pups etc. I will take them on walks and enrich them or just give them a cuddle if they need it. I like to understand what kind of personalities I’m looking after prior to understand how to best care for the animals

My extended family always had dogs, from Jack Russell's and Cockapoos to Labradors. I loved them all and enjoy getting to know their individual personalities. About: I have had dogs for over 23 years with having 3 Springer Spaniels, I have always been kept active. Since taking early retirement I am at home all day with no dogs as ours sadly passed last year. I have all the time and attention to welcome your fur baby into our home. I have a large garden, totally secure and close to the beach, where I love to walk dogs. I know from my own experiences of having our own dogs looked after while away, how much you miss them and need reassurance that they are happy and look after, just like they would be in your own home. I am happy to give medicine if required, I have no other pets or children and a non smoker. I have put that I will accept large dogs however my preference is nothing over 25kg. I am now retired and at home all day. I Live with my husband who is also a dog lover and enjoys dog walks. Your dog will not be left on their own as my husband is happy to look after them while I pop out to the shops. Your dog will get 3 walks a day if required and plenty of play in the garden, I have a large secure garden and live on a quite road, a few minutes from the beach. Having dogs for over 20 years, our home has always been a home for dogs, including cuddles on the sofa. We do not have many visitors or any children at home. If your dog is nervous of new people we would be happy to not have visitors during their stay. I would walk your dog on the lead at all times. Our last springer was a rescue and quite nervous of other dogs, therefore if your dog is nervous you can be reassured that we are use to dealing with this. All our springers have lived a long life, therefore use to dealing with senior dogs. Since retiring I have volunteered at the Dog Trust for 5 years, which has given me more experience with working with different breeds.

“Sophie is a lovely young lady and she was confident around my dog from the moment she met him. I've not used online services such as Rover before so I was a little trepudatious as to whether I had made the right decision but felt as Sophie was local to where I was staying, I would be able to extricate Merlot should I find this kind of service wasn't right for him. I need not have worried, from the start I had reassuring messages from Sophie and my confidence grew in her. From the moment I met Sophie she welcomed Merlot with an open door and arms, she was very keen to listen to all I had to say about Merlot and literally opened her home to him. Her home is clean and inviting and she allowed Merlot the opportunity to check out his environment with no words of caution and no restrictions, which assured me he was going to have a home from home experience and that Sophie was ready to give him the love and care he deserved while in her charge. I had no doubt I could put my trust in Sophie. We experienced difficulty communicating due to the centre of Canterbury having the lousiest WiFi and text connections (I was aware of this years ago and it hasn't really improved) and Sophie was very patient, letting me know she'd not received replies from me. All in all I was reassured Merlot was being well looked after and this enabled me to enjoy and immerse myself in my weekend of singing workshop. On my way home I stopped off to walk Merlot and spoke to a fellow dog owner and gave recommendations for Sophie and Rover's services. About: I am a flexible dog walker, with patience and 1 - 1 care. Perfect for dogs who are a little bit more challenging and need more attention I currently have 1 regular dog who I walk minimum 3 times a week in the morning. I would love to extend my care to more dogs to walk! I live in a doggy friendly house with a large enclosed garden. Id be able to offer regular walks and have loads of fields in my area. I have no dog equipment so you would need to provide bedding or crates if need.
