“Sullivan's second visit to Dean- and very excited as we approached the "spooky" house! Dean let me know how he was through the day- with photos- and I collected a relaxed happy pup at the end of the day. Thanks Dean”

About: I don’t just watch pets—I care for them like they are part of our family. With years of hands-on experience I take time to get to know each pet’s unique personality, needs and routines. Whether it’s extra playtime for an energetic puppy, quiet comfort for an older pet, I tailor my care to make every pet feel safe, loved, and at home 🙂 Pet care fits right into my life! I’m an outgoing person who loves being outdoors and staying active, whether it’s going for walks, playing fetch, or just enjoying some fresh air. I genuinely love spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Caring for pets never feels like work it’s something that always brightens my day! ☺️ When pets stay with me, I treat them like part of the family. They get a comfortable place to rest, regular walks or playtime, and lots of affection. I make sure they feel at home, keep their feeding routine consistent, and always provide a calm, loving environment.
About: Hello there I’m Nicola, a caring and highly experienced dog walker/ sitter serving Canterbury and surrounding villages. I only look after solo pets and those from the same household. My 'speciality' is reassuring nervous dogs (as well as anxious owners!) I can be flexibly with my availability; whether you need regular weekday walks or occasional pet services. I work fully remotely so make a great daytime companion (I am a part-time researcher/ advocate for refugee rights). If you require a pet service not explicit on my profile do get in touch, I am always open to new ideas and learning new skills. I have had rescue dogs throughout my life, including "failed" police dogs and elderly dogs. Previously, I fostered Romanian rescue dogs, ahead of helping them find their forever homes. I have cared for puppies, elderly pets and those with mobility and/ or health considerations. I already have some regular dog walking Clients but have recently gained capacity to take on more work (I am new to Rover). I am now also available for pet sitting whether at my home or yours. I have an enclosed garden, and my home is located a short distance from public footpaths and fields. After saying goodbye to my beloved fur-son last year I do not currently have pets myself (still too bereft!) I have a primary school aged child who is very used to dogs of all ages and sizes (but this would need to be considered ahead of overnight stays my home). I have 25+ years' experience caring for my own/ other people's pets, including in their own homes. As well as previously fostering Romanian rescue dogs, I have cared for puppies, elderly pets and those with health considerations. I am also highly experienced in working with vulnerable people. I hold an enhanced DBS check and my own insurance.
About: I have been fostering dogs, old, young, and sick for 5 years. We adopted our lurcher 2 years ago. He is a playful 2 year old, so I need to use treats/ and discipline quite a lot. I have had dogs growing up, and just love to be around all types of dog. I’m at home most of the time. Not currently back at work after maternity leave. I take my dog out at least once a day. So can fit something in most days! I have a fully fenced garden and gate. The house is open plan, however if you need your dog cornered off or my dog cornered off we have baby gates everywhere to help with that.
“We introduced Doris to Wan jeong because the dog carer who has cared for Doris for the first 6 years of her life has moved on. We did a lot of research, looking for a carer who would be kind, responsible and respectful of Doris's needs. Wan jeung is a warm person who clearly loves dogs. She is working hard to develop a happy relationship with Doris and is very keen to understand Doris's daily routines in order for her to feel safe and happy. We feel that we have made the correct choice placing our precious pup with Wan jeung.”

“Our dog really loved being with Olga. We had to find a sitter last minute and she responded so quickly and was so reassuring about leaving our dog with her. Very grateful for the time she gave us”

I also know very nice walks that have been all approved by my dog (fields, woods, dog parks, etc). I am happy to cater for your dog's needs, and I will adapt to your preferences. I am looking forward to meet your dogs, and go on adventures with them I am available most weekdays, from 9 to 3, and will always try my best to work around your schedule. I am always happy to discuss your needs and find a way to make it work for everyone. I have a large fenced garden, to share with my friendly senior labrador. About: I've always loved dogs and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I provide a safe, caring, and reliable service, treating every dog as if they were my own. I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds, including energetic puppies and older dogs that need a slower pace and extra patience. I'm happy to stick to your dog's normal routine, including feeding schedules, administering oral medication if required, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. Being active means I can provide long walks and engaging exercise for high-energy dogs, while also understanding when a quieter, gentler approach is needed for senior pets. I'm reliable, punctual, and know how important communication is, so I'll keep you updated with messages and photos while you're away for complete peace of mind. My priority is making sure your dog feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for, so you can relax knowing they're in safe hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I enjoy being active and make time every day for walks, outdoor exercise, and spending time with dogs. This means I can provide regular walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I understand how important it is to keep pets on their usual routine, so I'm happy to follow your dog's normal schedule, whether that's early morning walks, medication, meal times, or evening cuddles. I have a flexible schedule and always make sure the pets in my care receive the time, attention, and affection they deserve. For me, looking after dogs isn't just a job—it's something I genuinely enjoy, and I treat every dog as if they were part of my own family. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, my priority is making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved while keeping to their normal routine. I take the time to get to know each dog's personality, feeding schedule, walking routine, and any special requirements before their stay. I provide plenty of exercise, playtime, mental stimulation, and, of course, lots of affection. Fresh water is always available, and I make sure pets have a clean, comfortable place to rest. If I'm caring for your dog in your home, I'll respect your property as if it were my own while maintaining your pet's usual routine to help them feel settled. I'm also happy to administer oral medication if needed, provide regular toilet breaks, and send photo and message updates so you know your pet is happy and well looked after. I understand how much pets mean to their families, so I treat every dog with the same care, patience, and attention I'd give my own.

My experience spans the entire spectrum of the canine world, meaning your dog—no matter their size or personality—will be in expert hands. ❄️ Arctic Sled Dog & Pack Experience I have unique, hands-on experience managing a pack of working Huskies during a sledding expedition in the Arctic Circle of Sweden. This involved looking after my own team and assisting with the wider pack in extreme conditions—handling everything from feeding and harness management to understanding complex pack dynamics and high-energy behavior. 🏡 Gentle Care for Smaller Breeds While I'm entirely confident with large, high-energy breeds, I am equally experienced in providing the gentle, attentive care required for smaller dogs. On walks, my background as a fitness professional means I am alert, physically strong enough to handle large or pulling dogs safely on a lead, and fully focused on keeping your dog secure and happy at all times.
“We were a little anxious as our German Shepherd / Border Collie as he can be reactive and picky with the people he likes. He either loves you or wants to eat you. Mark suggested a pre meet and from the moment we stepped into his house we needn't of worried. Dexter instantly made new friends. On the day, Mark sent us pictures to keep us updated and showed us that he was not stressed or miss behaving and looking very chilled and relaxed. Thank you Mark”
