About: Hi, I’m Em! I live by the sea with my incredibly sweet and friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Olive. I can offer you the kind of care I provide my own dog - which is kind, patient, fun and responsible! I have completed a Canine Emergency Response course and carry a dog first aid kit with me when not at home, and have been able to help other people’s dogs in a crisis. I am calm, caring and vigilant. I will treat every dog as the wonderful unique characters they are, taking the time to get to know them and respecting their preferences. I am a good communicator and will be as flexible and helpful as I possibly can. I want you and your dog(s) to have a great experience so that they bound up to me in excitement - that’s what makes it worthwhile! I work from home most of the week and usually have quite a bit of flexibility to work around your needs… Weekends are also possible with notice! In front of my house is a big lovely park, and behind my house is the beach - a doggie heaven! Inside my house there are some stairs to get up (I can carry dogs under 10kg if needed) and then my house is free for the dogs to explore. I have it set up so there are no plants or items that can be chewed, and I have an abundance of dog beds and toys. The dogs are welcome on my sofas and beds as they wish, and I have a shower and bathtub with specialist dog products should they need a refresh! I have cooling fans and open the balcony doors in the summer, and in the winter I have heated blankets and heaters. There are high quality treats should they be allowed - but will follow any instructions for feeding carefully. I provide toilet breaks and walk my own dog 4 times a day (20+ mins a time) which is roughly every 5 hours, but I can adapt to another dogs routine if needed!

About: Both Tom and I have been around dogs all our lives and absolutely adore them. We live with our 2 lurchers, Lionel and Bodhi in Folkestone. I have a qualification in Pet First Aid and Dog CPR, and experienced in administering injectable medications. I am fully insured by Protectivity. We have extensive experience with senior dog care, sighthounds, and are used to looking after dogs of all sizes and personalities. We are fortunate to live in close proximity to the Kent Downs, and the beautiful Kent countryside, near lots of woods and walking distance to the coast. We love to get out in the fresh air as much as possible and would welcome your furry friends to come with us. There are also plenty of dog parks near our house, and we have booked private fields for dogs in our care, so they can really have a good run and play off lead. We only take up to two dogs at a time, as long to ensure they get sufficient supervision and snuggles. Walks can be solo or with our boys (who walk very well on lead). Lionel and Bodhi are very loving, friendly boys, with very different characters! Lionel loves everyone and wants to play. Bodhi is more laidback and is happy to watch playtime from the sofa! Both are good at sharing toys and snuggling. As with most sighthounds, after a short burst of energy, they love to snuggle up for the next few hours! Caring for animals is my priority, dog sitting and walking is my full-time focus. I live with my husband, who mostly works from home and has a flexible schedule. Depending on your preference, we can either go out together on group walks with our dogs (2 adults, plus one or two of our dogs, with your dog), or I can take your dog(s) on a solo walk. Whatever works best for your dog. Your dog will be with humans the majority of the time they are here, receiving love, care and attention. A typical day for us, We usually wake around 6am, have cuddles with our dogs and feed them their breakfast. Then we head out for our early morning walk (usually 1 - 2 hours). After that our boys tend to sleep til lunch time. We usually have then playtime, followed by more napping. We then take a second walk before or after their tea. Then toy time and tucked in bed around 9pm. As we have 2 lurchers our garden is very secure with high fences. There are comfy sofas in both rooms on the ground floor, plus dog beds, plenty of room to relax. If you like your dogs to be crated at night, there is room to add these. Our dogs sleep in one room, your dogs would have their own doggy bedroom (ground floor). We also have a room on the first floor for dogs that need a snug quiet space of their own.

About: Derek and I have only ever had rescue dogs, not puppies. We appreciate they have had a rough start and need time and patience and lots of encouragement to feel safe and comfortable. We have do looked after multiple friends dogs over the years and have decided that we could help others to have a decent break/work/holiday knowing that their loved furry friend is in capable, safe care. We have rescued older dogs as they get overlooked. We have had to house train kenneled dogs - it’s been a challenge!! But worth it 🤩 I am currently available daily and will have plenty of time with your doggo. My husband works from home so there is always someone around. Walks in our local woods and playtime on the garden will be frequent. Chill time is also important. Dogs are allowed on the sofa so will feel welcome if that’s their thing😊 We have a secure fenced garden. We have a 13 year old Parsons terrier- Steve - he is chilled and loves dog company. We have a lovely wooded walk close by which is shady on those hot days. I will be happy to send pics/ updates of your pooch as often as you feel will be helpful to ensure you are also happy your dog is happy 😊 we can arrange that when we meet. Our home becomes your pets home for the duration of the stay. We will discuss your preferences so that we can maintain the routines/ boundaries that you have in place for your dog. About: Iv owned dogs for over 30 years and have had the honour to work with them for the past 16, I have experience with most breeds being a dog groomer and owned many myself over the years. I have fostered over 100 rescues in the past 4 years also and am experienced in nervous, elderly, young and dogs needed extra care. I can administer medication including injections if needed. I have worked in boarding kennels before and have been boarding dogs myself for the past 10 years in my own home, where all dogs are welcomed into my family and treated as one of my own. I own two grooming salons where any boarding dogs can come with me, where they can meet other dogs, be in my company all day and will only be left if I need to pop to the shops, dogs are my life! And I spend all day everyday caring for my own and everyone else’s! I have two fully fenced gardens with over 100ft to run around in, I have 6 small rescue dogs myself that your dog can meet and play with. The gardens are accessible all day every day during the summer and at regular intervals in the winter depending on the weather. They are all brilliant with other dogs and are used to different dogs staying in our home. All dogs are allowed on my furniture! I always say to visitors “find a spot the dogs arnt sitting on” I also have indoor gates used as extra safety to avoid any escapees!

Most likely a good morning walk before breakfast, another around lunchtime and an evening stroll around the block. Obviously in extreme heat or torrential rain I will be a little flexible. I don't mind a muddy dog as long as your dog doesn't mind a bath! I have a fenced garden and he /she will be able to spend as much time outside as they chose or ask to go. They are welcome on furniture and I am happy for them to sleep upstairs with me. I just want them to feel safe and loved whilst they are here.

About: I have been a trusted home pet sitter over the last 15 years , and often walk or do daycare for dogs as well. I have been introduced to most of my regulars by word of mouth recommendation. Im experienced with anxious pets as well as those with basic medical requirements. I love hanging out with all animals, and cant have my own in rented accommodation. I have recently ended a role and I'm applying for new roles so I'm incredibly flexible. Happy to be asked at short notice and will make the best efforts to accept the the request. I enjoy playing with cats and dogs, keeping them entertained and giving lots of affection. Happy to go on big walks or shorter walks depending on what specific dogs may need.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my home since I was a small child alongside guinea -pigs, rabbits and chinchillas. Since living on my own (10yeard) I have had recue cats in my home and often looked after friends and family's animals by house sitting or walking them. For the last 2 years I have fostered dogs from the Charity Dogs Trust and have had basic training in grooming, giving medication and basic behavioural recognisition. I am most experienced with reactive dogs and those with anxiety. I currently work from home and only recently moved to Folkestone so I am looking to have some companionship and floofy cuddles during the day. Plus living opposite the beach there are loads of beach side walks and what better friend then a doggo to take with me. I have a flat with a roof terrace as well as access to the beach and no other pets currently so your fur baby will have a safe, quiet environment. I do have a crate if needed but usually let the floors on the sofa or in a Doggy bed. I drive so can pop into your home to pick up a pet if needed for walks or check ins. My neighbours don't have dogs either so reactive dogs should be happy too.

About: I am exactly who I would want to leave my dog with or have my dog walked by as I put dogs in front of humans 😂 My small Munsterlander is 4 now and I’ve had her since a pup, we’ve recently moved back to the UK from Spain and I’m out with her on big ball playing walks 4/5 times per day as she is super active and I need the outside time too so I thought this would be perfect for me to get a bit of pocket money and be around my favourite animals at the same time. I have trained my girl since a pup and understand all aspects of dog training and how they operate in general so I’m happy to have dogs off the lead although at the same time happy to walk them on a long lead :) Walking wise I’ll have mine with me and she’s off the lead running chasing the ball in the local fields etc so any dog can join in and we’ll have a great time if you want me to have your dog overnight I’ll make it so they don’t even want to come back to you which is exactly what I would expect and hope for if I was to leave my baby! How will I do that? 🤔 I’ll make sure they have the best walks ever so we’re all chilled for cozy cuddle time and I’ll cook up something meaty for them super nutritional and make sure they sleep right next to me by the bed :) I actually do nothing all day everyday apart from look after my best mate (Maddie in my photo) since I’ve moved back here to the UK I find myself out 4/5 times per day with my dog so would be the exact same to look after another doggy :) There is no escape as we’re in a flat so no safety concerns in that sense this also encourages me even more to make sure once my doggy has chilled for a couple hours we’re back outside playing again as there isn’t a garden.

About: I have had pets all throughout my life growing up. I have owned dogs for over 19 years and am used to looking after pets - mainly dogs, but also chickens, horses and cats. I currently work part-time and in a role where I can be mainly based at home. I live in an old house surrounded by lovely gardens and three acres of fields. I am close to many country walks and St Mary’s Bay beach is only 10 minutes drive from me. All dogs, like us humans, are different. Some prefer to be left in peace and quiet and others like company, some are very energetic and others are less so. How I care for your dog is entirely dependent on their preferences. And I have enough space in my home for them to roam quite freely and the great outdoors with fenced fields are merely seconds from our back door. I have enough space in my home to have 3 extra dogs with their own room.
