“My dog Maisie was with Tamsin for 3 nights. When I picked Maisie up , Tamsin said that she had no problem with her for those few days whatsoever. Tamsin, seems to be a natural in looking after animals. After I took Maisie home, she settled back immediately. So that confirms to me that she was very well for in Tamsin’s home. I have no hesitation in recommending Tamsin to any dog owner whatsoever. I certainly will be using her in the future, that’s if she isn’t booked up of course. Kind regards, James.”

“Selma took time to get our rescued young GSD used to her by arranging two meet and greets. He was immediately relaxed in her home environment and with the calm energy Selma projects. Such a relief to find such a lovely lady to trust with our dog. Thank you!”

“Denitsa was brilliant with our lovely and lively teenager Finn - great communication and some brilliant videos and photos sent during his stay. Would definitely recommend!”

“Stephen looked after our 18 month old Cockerpoo Lottie for just over two weeks. This is the third time we've used him as Lottie really likes him and appears happy and content in his care. Stephen has been personable, flexible and reliable in all our dealings with him.”

“Kerry and her partner were nothing short of incredible! Rory had the best time with lots of snuggles and enrichment activities. With it being so warm Kerry made sure to keep all the doggies in her care safe at all times and walked Rory at times where it was safest for him! We got updated throughout the day so we could keep up with what they were doing and we were never felt uncertain of where he was or what he was up to. Kerry also accompanied Rory to our wedding and was a brilliant chaperone to him! Kept him hydrated and in the shade so he could perform his best for the photos! Kerry, you are amazing! Thank you so much for looking after our little boy 🥰”

“Thank you so much Lorna, we felt so comfortable leaving Clemmie with you. Lorna was great for Clem’s sit, we did a meet and greet walk beforehand and we instantly knew Clem would be in good hands. Clem needed to see the vet during her stay and Lorna took her for us and cared for her so attentively. We will 100% book again. Thanks for all the photos and Clemmie’s presents, we are very lucky we found you!”

“I honestly couldn't recommend Emma enough 😀 she looked after our lovely little cavapoo puppy Chase, who had a lovely time especially all the play time he got with gorgeous little olive ❤️ Emma made him feel so welcome and loved as if he was her own 🥰 we felt so relaxed knowing he was in good hands as emma keeps you updated and sends lots of pictures and video's which is amazing as we got to see all the fun he was having and all cuddles he was getting. Chase can be very fussy with his food and doesn't tend to eat much, you sort of have to feed him to get him to eat and Emma sat there and feed him a few times from her hand. She really is just incredible with dogs and we cannot thank her enough 😊 Highly Recommend, will definitely use Emma again as chase felt so comfortable, loved and well looked after ❤️”

“Dilla has stayed a few times with Sylvia now, but on this occasion over night for the first time. Sylvia as always was very accommodating, lots of walks and play time and kept us updated. Thanks so much!”

“Delphine was great, literally save us from a 8 hours trip to take my baby to my local cattery, as he couldn't go with us in the shuttle. “Christine and her husband are both very warm and friendly people who welcomed Barney with open arms. He was very happy to run straight up to them for a fuss, and clearly felt right at home. I received updates from Christine while we were away, and when we arrived to collect Barney he was very much part of their home, and you could tell he was very happy there. Christine was very careful to follow our care notes, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. In fact, I've made a second booking!”

“Olivia looked after Otto again for a couple days. It was great Otto really enjoyed being there and knew when we were arriving where he was going.. Olivia is very good with him and has a calming influence which Otto responds to. Great communication and photos throughout his stay and would recommend. Thank yo.”

About: I've taken care of cats for my friends, when they go on holiday. From kitten to 15 years old. Feeding, grooming, and changing litter trays. I looked after 3 cats together for upto 2 weeks. I enjoy a cuddle, whilst watching films, I also enjoy helping them play with their toys.

“We’ve hit the jackpot with Mads! Luna adores her and can’t wait to snuggle up on her lap when she visits. We love the regular updates and photos Mads sends and coming home to a relaxed and contented cat speaks volumes. We can’t thank Mads enough!”

“Charmian is brilliant. She handled Thor perfectly, and was an absolute blessing as we went away on holiday. She checked in on Thor twice a day including giving her medication (getting her to take a pill, and wrangle her for some ointment placing), and sent photos daily. She was super attentive, lovely and I would highly recommend Char. Thor and I will be absolutely booking again.”

“Rachel looked after our 3 super clingy cats for a week and she was an absolute dream! She clearly loves cats and cats love her. She really went above and beyond making sure they all had sufficient attention and snuggles (and believe me, that's a challenge with our three clingy cats). We got daily updates about the cat shenanigans and communication was a breeze! We were able to enjoy our holiday and not worry, it was wonderful. She looked after our house beautifully as well and even brought in our recycling bins we had forgotten to tell her about. Highly recommend and we'll be sure to book her again in the future!”

“Xiaowei Looked after our cat very well. She send us an update everyday which made us feel more comfortable being away from our home. We would ask her again to look after our Sox.”

“I'm so pleased with the care that Amber took of Mog. I felt so reassured and would definitely book with her again. Mog was well looked after and fussed over with lots of nice photos and updates. The area that Mog uses in the kitchen was also nice and clean and tidy.”

“Marie was great. She came and met Miso before the planned pop in. She clearly has a love for dogs. She followed Miso's lunchtime routine and sent updates during and when she had left. Miso was left tired and settled from an hour of playing and fuss. Would definitely recommend”

About: Hi, I’m Em! I live by the sea with my incredibly sweet and friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Olive. I can offer you the kind of care I provide my own dog - which is kind, patient, fun and responsible! I have completed a Canine Emergency Response course and carry a dog first aid kit with me when not at home, and have been able to help other people’s dogs in a crisis. I am calm, caring and vigilant. I will treat every dog as the wonderful unique characters they are, taking the time to get to know them and respecting their preferences. I am a good communicator and will be as flexible and helpful as I possibly can. I want you and your dog(s) to have a great experience so that they bound up to me in excitement - that’s what makes it worthwhile! I work from home most of the week and usually have quite a bit of flexibility to work around your needs… Weekends are also possible with notice! In front of my house is a big lovely park, and behind my house is the beach - a doggie heaven! Inside my house there are some stairs to get up (I can carry dogs under 10kg if needed) and then my house is free for the dogs to explore. I have it set up so there are no plants or items that can be chewed, and I have an abundance of dog beds and toys. The dogs are welcome on my sofas and beds as they wish, and I have a shower and bathtub with specialist dog products should they need a refresh! I have cooling fans and open the balcony doors in the summer, and in the winter I have heated blankets and heaters. There are high quality treats should they be allowed - but will follow any instructions for feeding carefully. I provide toilet breaks and walk my own dog 4 times a day (20+ mins a time) which is roughly every 5 hours, but I can adapt to another dogs routine if needed!
“Hugo’s second stay, now building up to his first overnight stay to build his confidence away from us even further. Steve is a very knowledgeable dog minder and Hugo is obviously comfortable around Steve.”

“We booked Jazz to look after our sausage whilst we was working in the area. Jazz was very friendly and responsive so we immediately felt comfortable leaving Frankie with her. When we came to collect Frankie he was extremely happy and it was evident he’d had a great time with Jazz! Thanks so much - would highly Recommend.”

About: Both Tom and I have been around dogs all our lives and absolutely adore them. We live with our 2 lurchers, Lionel and Bodhi in Folkestone. I have a qualification in Pet First Aid and Dog CPR. I am fully insured by Protectivity. We have extensive experience with senior dog care, sighthounds, and are used to looking after dogs of all sizes and personalities. We are fortunate to live in close proximity to the Kent Downs, and the beautiful Kent countryside, near lots of woods and walking distance to the coast. We love to get out in the fresh air as much as possible and would welcome your furry friends to come with us. There are also plenty of dog parks near our house, and we have booked private fields for dogs in our care, so they can really have a good run and play off lead. We only take up to two dogs at a time, as long to ensure they get sufficient supervision and snuggles. Walks can be solo or with our boys (who walk very well on lead). Lionel and Bodhi are very loving, friendly boys, with very different characters! Lionel loves everyone and wants to play. Bodhi is more laidback and is happy to watch playtime from the sofa! Both are good at sharing toys and snuggling. As with most sighthounds, after a short burst of energy, they love to snuggle up for the next few hours! Caring for animals is my priority, dog sitting and walking is my full-time focus. I live with my husband, who mostly works from home and has a flexible schedule. Depending on your preference, we can either go out together on group walks with our dogs (2 adults, plus one or two of our dogs, with your dog), or I can take your dog(s) on a solo walk. Whatever works best for your dog. Your dog will be with humans the majority of the time they are here, receiving love, care and attention. A typical day for us, We usually wake around 6am, have cuddles with our dogs and feed them their breakfast. Then we head out for our early morning walk (usually 1 - 2 hours). After that our boys tend to sleep til lunch time. We usually have then playtime, followed by more napping. We then take a second walk before or after their tea. Then toy time and tucked in bed around 9pm. As we have 2 lurchers our garden is very secure with high fences. There are comfy sofas in both rooms on the ground floor, plus dog beds, plenty of room to relax. If you like your dogs to be crated at night, there is room to add these. Our dogs sleep in one room, your dogs would have their own doggy bedroom (ground floor). We also have a room on the first floor for dogs that need a snug quiet space of their own.
“Buddy had such a lovely time he didnt want to come home! Meet n greet helped calm the anxiety of someone new looking after buddy, felt very reassured and recieved updated during his day with Sylvia. Would reccomend!”

“Nelly had a wonderful day with Anette. I had plenty of photos and videos throughout the day to keep me up to date on their day. I could tell she was extremely well taken care of and I wouldn't hesitate to book Anette to mind Nelly again. Thank you!”

“Bessie was well looked after by Lorna and her husband they took her for walks, gave her home made treats and even gave me a little bag at the end with more of the treats and some photos Thank you for taking such good care of my girl :)”

“I was very lucky to find Christine and that she was available to look after Lollie. It was short notice and really helped me out whilst I attended a funeral & family gathering. Lollie can be sensitive but I knew immediately Christine and her husband would be kind and gentle with her. Lollie was as happy as I’ve seen her going to someone she doesn’t know. Photos of Lollie were sent to reassure she was absolutely fine. Thank you so much.”

“Can’t recommend Victoria & family enough. We were visiting the area for a couple of nights & needed dog care for one of the days so we could explore without worrying about leaving Noodle alone all day. Victoria looked after Noodle very well, kept us updated & looks like he had a great time. Thank you ☺️”

“Ceri was amazing with our 6 month old cocker spaniel on his first ever day of daycare! She took him out for walks and to play and sent regular updates and photos. Odin came home happy and tired 😁 I would highly recommend Ceri and will definitely ask her to look after our boy again.”

About: I am exactly who I would want to leave my dog with or have my dog walked by as I put dogs in front of humans 😂 My small Munsterlander is 4 now and I’ve had her since a pup, we’ve recently moved back to the UK from Spain and I’m out with her on big ball playing walks 4/5 times per day as she is super active and I need the outside time too so I thought this would be perfect for me to get a bit of pocket money and be around my favourite animals at the same time. I have trained my girl since a pup and understand all aspects of dog training and how they operate in general so I’m happy to have dogs off the lead although at the same time happy to walk them on a long lead :) Walking wise I’ll have mine with me and she’s off the lead running chasing the ball in the local fields etc so any dog can join in and we’ll have a great time if you want me to have your dog overnight I’ll make it so they don’t even want to come back to you which is exactly what I would expect and hope for if I was to leave my baby! How will I do that? 🤔 I’ll make sure they have the best walks ever so we’re all chilled for cozy cuddle time and I’ll cook up something meaty for them super nutritional and make sure they sleep right next to me by the bed :) I actually do nothing all day everyday apart from look after my best mate (Maddie in my photo) since I’ve moved back here to the UK I find myself out 4/5 times per day with my dog so would be the exact same to look after another doggy :) There is no escape as we’re in a flat so no safety concerns in that sense this also encourages me even more to make sure once my doggy has chilled for a couple hours we’re back outside playing again as there isn’t a garden.
About: Dogs are a big part of my life. My partner and I always have at least one dog in our home! I love to play with them, train them and care for them. I have been through all stages of dog lives from their very first steps, and opening their eyes to saying goodbye to the precious four legged pal. Dogs are my great love. Seeing them enjoy their time on a good run, jumping up from joy with the muddy paws after an early morning swim in freezing cold water is great fun. Muddy puddles after a long walk on the Warren or around the Martello tower and a smelly car.... All stored in "best day ever" folder in my mind. I love it and want to give some of that to you and you four legged friend. I will take your furry friend on amazing fun adventures in and around Folkestone Hythe and Ashford. Happy Walks Happy Dogs! I am available during the day but also at all these less common hours when you need that help with your pet. I do early morning/late evening walks if that’s what you and your pooch need. Young puppies are much welcomed by Butter our Labradoodle. They will be safe and cared for at all times with Butter and mummy Boo. I am a walker and carer by nature. I try to accommodate the needs of every dog I meet and care for. As a start I would come and meet you, to get to know you and your furry baby. If you choose me to be part of your pooch's life I will go for a one-to one walk getting to know your pouch better. Over time I will learn what suit them best, what locations and company they like and potentially introduce them to other dogs I walk. I am DBS checked, Insured and as said reliable loving and caring.
“Pippa loved the time she spent with Laura and was excited to go back the second day. We received regular updates and videos of Pippa playing, which helped us relax after leaving her for the first time.”

“Jodie is amazing with our puppy! Given Ace is our first puppy, we were nervous about needing to leave him for work and about needing to use a dog walker whilst we were away but Jodie always makes a real effort to ensure we're updated and reassured Ace is doing well on his walks which is really comforting! Ace always looks like he is having the best time from our pup updates and it's clear Jodie takes really good care of him - he is always in the best of moods after! We're very grateful to have found such a great dog walker for our little guy! :)”

About: Hi! My name is Marie and I am a self employed pharmacist. I live in Folkestone with my boyfriend Brad. We both absolutely love dogs, any dog! Our combined personal experience with dogs includes puppies and young dogs, adult dogs, and also rescue dogs. I have experience administering oral medication to dogs. I am very reliable, and will treat your pet like my own whilst in my care 💛 I am self employed and have a degree of flexibility, so please drop me a request/message and I will see if I can accommodate ☺️ I understand that you may feel nervous leaving your pet’s care in another person’s hands, but I can assure you that it will be well looked after with me. Nonetheless, I am more than happy to send you regular updates and photos if you so wish :) My garden is fenced all around, making sure your dog is safe. Our house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, so there is minimal cars.
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs of all kinds – from energetic Springer Spaniels and loyal German Shepherds to gentle Labradoodles and mixed breeds. Caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life, and over the years I’ve gained experience with everything from playful puppies to older dogs who need a bit of extra care and patience. I’ve also looked after friends’ pets, including a Romanian rescue dog who needed reassurance and structure, and several house cats who enjoy company, playtime, and a watchful eye to keep them safely indoors. I currently have two senior dogs of my own, so I’m experienced with administering medication, gentle grooming, claw trimming, bathing, and soothing massages for joint comfort. I always aim to provide calm, loving, and reliable care — treating every animal as if they were my own. I currently work part time at a café, and my days there can vary, so I like to keep my schedule flexible. This means I can often fit in dog walks or pet care around my shifts. I don’t drive, but I’m based in Hythe and happy to walk or use public transport to reach nearby areas like Folkestone — I’m used to planning ahead and giving myself plenty of time to get where I need to be. For house sitting, I’m open and flexible, though I do have two lovely dogs of my own, so I’d just need to plan around their care too. I’m always happy to discuss what works best for everyone to make sure all pets are well looked after. When looking after pets in someone else’s home, I treat both the animals and the space with the same care and respect I would my own. I’m tidy, sensible, and always mindful that I’m a guest in your home. I like to have clear instructions before a stay — things like feeding routines, where pets are allowed to go, and any household rules around windows, doors, or garden access. It helps me make sure everything stays safe and secure. I always double-check that gates and doors are properly closed, keep an eye on anything that could be a safety risk, and make sure pets are comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. My aim is for you to come home to a happy pet and a spotless home.

“Daisy looked after my Blu boy, got daily updates on how he was and his behaviour, with pictures, he’s really enjoyed himself and was looked after with such care, made me feel really happy that someone could look after and love my boy as much as me! Thankyou so much! 100% would recommend daisy as a sitter! She did a fabulous job! Thankyou!🖤”

“My nervous rescue cross Mackie spent a trial overnight stay with Linda and Steve earlier this week. I am delighted to say that everything went really well, Linda and Steve were really sensitive to Mackie's "special" needs. Linda sent me a couple of updates through the stay which was very reassuring. I feel happy and confident for Mackie to stay with Linda and Steve again when we go away on our hols in a few weeks. Knowing that Mackie will be happy and well-cared for while we are away is a weight off my shoulders. Thank you Linda and Steve, see you soon!”

“Frank was well looked after and treated like a member of the family His needs were met (and then some! BBQ'd steak?! Lucky boy) I was obviously worried about leaving him but Charlie and his family did a great job, kept me updated with pics and messages and I wouldn't hesitate in using them again”

“Dilla has stayed a few times with Sylvia now, but on this occasion over night for the first time. Sylvia as always was very accommodating, lots of walks and play time and kept us updated. Thanks so much!”

“Snoop had THE BEST week with Chloe, Lucie & Willow 💖 (and loved meeting other new friends too!) He can be a bit of a handful & overexcitable when he’s out on the lead but they were so patient with him and not phased by this at all, and they have done so much with him - lots of walks & various outings (including the zoo!!!), as well as lots of cuddles 🥰 Communication was fab and all documented amazingly with photos, videos & pupdates which gave us the ultimate reassurance that he’s been so well cared for while we’ve been away! A million percent recommend for your fur baby to have their own holiday adventure! 🐾 xx”

“We had a fantastic experience with Kayleigh and would highly recommend her. Before we even booked, she took time out of her day to answer questions so we could see if we were a good fit. I was really anxious about leaving our pups but Kayleigh was just so kind & thoughtful. We could tell she really knew and understood dog behaviours and what they would need. During the stay, we got regular updates and tons of gorgeous photos, which showed the amount of care and attention that had gone into not just our pups visit, but to reassure us too. We will definitely be using Kayleigh again, from the photos we could see our pups were settled and chilled which is worth its weight in gold!”

“Our dog Zero loved being with Hannah for the week we were away. She communicated throughout and sent lots of pictures and updates which was lovely to see. It was clear how well he was looked after and he loved all the extra attention. I would definitely recommend Hannah!”
