Such a lovely person! I feel so comfortable leaving my beloved dog with Wan Jeung. She has a very calming, positive, and reassuring presence. My dog, Doris, loves her already. Wan Jeung is an exceptionally kind individual. I feel confident entrusting my dog, Doris, to her care due to her calming and reassuring demeanor. Doris has already taken a liking to her.

About: I’m a responsible, caring, and trustworthy person who has always had a special love for animals. Growing up, our home was always filled with dogs and cats, so caring for pets has been a natural and important part of my life from an early age. Since I was a child, I’ve also loved helping our neighbours by walking their dogs and spending time with their pets. I’ve always enjoyed being around animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Today, my husband, our children, and I absolutely adore animals. We believe pets are part of the family and deserve lots of love, attention, patience, and care. When your pet is with me, you can feel confident that they will be treated with the same kindness and affection I would give my own. I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, whether that means walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or simply keeping them company. I would love to welcome your furry family member and make sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. ❤️🐾 I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to looking after pets. I’m able to give them lots of attention throughout the day, take them for regular walks, play with them, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Because I’m home most of the time, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods. I genuinely enjoy having animals around and would be happy to make them part of my daily routine. 🐾❤️ We have a garden with secure fencing, so pets can enjoy some outdoor time safely without the risk of running away. I always take safety very seriously and will make sure your pet is supervised and cared for while staying with us. You can have peace of mind knowing that they will be in a safe, secure, and loving environment.

About: I've always loved dogs and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I provide a safe, caring, and reliable service, treating every dog as if they were my own. I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds, including energetic puppies and older dogs that need a slower pace and extra patience. I'm happy to stick to your dog's normal routine, including feeding schedules, administering oral medication if required, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. Being active means I can provide long walks and engaging exercise for high-energy dogs, while also understanding when a quieter, gentler approach is needed for senior pets. I'm reliable, punctual, and know how important communication is, so I'll keep you updated with messages and photos while you're away for complete peace of mind. My priority is making sure your dog feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for, so you can relax knowing they're in safe hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I enjoy being active and make time every day for walks, outdoor exercise, and spending time with dogs. This means I can provide regular walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I understand how important it is to keep pets on their usual routine, so I'm happy to follow your dog's normal schedule, whether that's early morning walks, medication, meal times, or evening cuddles. I have a flexible schedule and always make sure the pets in my care receive the time, attention, and affection they deserve. For me, looking after dogs isn't just a job—it's something I genuinely enjoy, and I treat every dog as if they were part of my own family. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, my priority is making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved while keeping to their normal routine. I take the time to get to know each dog's personality, feeding schedule, walking routine, and any special requirements before their stay. I provide plenty of exercise, playtime, mental stimulation, and, of course, lots of affection. Fresh water is always available, and I make sure pets have a clean, comfortable place to rest. If I'm caring for your dog in your home, I'll respect your property as if it were my own while maintaining your pet's usual routine to help them feel settled. I'm also happy to administer oral medication if needed, provide regular toilet breaks, and send photo and message updates so you know your pet is happy and well looked after. I understand how much pets mean to their families, so I treat every dog with the same care, patience, and attention I'd give my own.

About: Hi, I’m Michelle — a warm, friendly animal lover based in Canterbury. I live with my German Shorthaired Pointer, Otis, and two cats, Brownie and Peanut, so I’m very used to a busy, happy home with different personalities and energy levels. I’m new to offering dog care through Rover, but I bring years of real‑life experience as a dedicated pet owner. Living with both a high‑energy dog and calm, independent cats has taught me how to create a relaxed, safe environment where animals feel comfortable and understood. My approach is gentle, reliable, and calm. I’m easy to communicate with, and I’ll always make sure you feel updated and reassured while your dog is with me. I currently have plenty of flexibility in my week, which means I can offer reliable support for your pets. I’m available for walks, drop‑ins, and spending quality time with your animals. I live with my GSP and two cats, so I’m used to supporting pets with different needs and personalities. We have a safe, fully walled garden where dogs can relax and explore securely. I’m happy to separate animals when needed, and I can crate dogs safely and kindly — Otis used to be crated, so I’m very familiar with this. I follow your instructions closely and make sure your pets feel comfortable, secure, and well looked after. I enjoy taking dogs on both long, scenic walks and shorter, interesting routes depending on what suits them best.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have had a cat throughout my life, so animals have always been a bit part of my life. My grandparents also used to regularly dog-sit, which meant that I grew up around lots of different dogs and loved caring for them. I’m a genuine animal lover and would treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m responsible, patient and attentive, and would love the opportunity to care for your pets. I’ve recently completed my BSc in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation, so I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. My degree has developed my responsibility, attention to detail, and understanding of health and wellbeing, all of which I feel are valuable when caring for animals. I’m available throughout the week and at the weekends and am happy to work around your pets usual routine. I have a secure, fenced garden and a friendly cat at home, and am used to having animals around. I’ll always take the time to understand your pets individual routine, personality, and will follow any instructions you provide carefully. Your pets safety and wellbeing will always be my priority, and I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, care and affection while they’re with me.

About: Derek and I have only ever had rescue dogs, not puppies. We appreciate they have had a rough start and need time and patience and lots of encouragement to feel safe and comfortable. We have do looked after multiple friends dogs over the years and have decided that we could help others to have a decent break/work/holiday knowing that their loved furry friend is in capable, safe care. We have rescued older dogs as they get overlooked. We have had to house train kenneled dogs - it’s been a challenge!! But worth it 🤩 I am currently available daily and will have plenty of time with your doggo. My husband works from home so there is always someone around. Walks in our local woods and playtime on the garden will be frequent. Chill time is also important. Dogs are allowed on the sofa so will feel welcome if that’s their thing😊 We have a secure fenced garden. We have a 13 year old Parsons terrier- Steve - he is chilled and loves dog company. We have a lovely wooded walk close by which is shady on those hot days. I will be happy to send pics/ updates of your pooch as often as you feel will be helpful to ensure you are also happy your dog is happy 😊 we can arrange that when we meet. Our home becomes your pets home for the duration of the stay. We will discuss your preferences so that we can maintain the routines/ boundaries that you have in place for your dog. Husband Derek works from home so there is always someone around

Sophie is a lovely young lady and she was confident around my dog from the moment she met him. I've not used online services such as Rover before so I was a little trepudatious as to whether I had made the right decision but felt as Sophie was local to where I was staying, I would be able to extricate Merlot should I find this kind of service wasn't right for him. I need not have worried, from the start I had reassuring messages from Sophie and my confidence grew in her. From the moment I met Sophie she welcomed Merlot with an open door and arms, she was very keen to listen to all I had to say about Merlot and literally opened her home to him. Her home is clean and inviting and she allowed Merlot the opportunity to check out his environment with no words of caution and no restrictions, which assured me he was going to have a home from home experience and that Sophie was ready to give him the love and care he deserved while in her charge. I had no doubt I could put my trust in Sophie. We experienced difficulty communicating due to the centre of Canterbury having the lousiest WiFi and text connections (I was aware of this years ago and it hasn't really improved) and Sophie was very patient, letting me know she'd not received replies from me. All in all I was reassured Merlot was being well looked after and this enabled me to enjoy and immerse myself in my weekend of singing workshop. On my way home I stopped off to walk Merlot and spoke to a fellow dog owner and gave recommendations for Sophie and Rover's services. I will recommend to family and friends throughout the UK and I would like to thank Sophie so much for enabling me to have such an amazing weekend xxx

I recently booked an overnight stay for my boy Tate, and it was his very first night away from us. Although there were a few challenges from him, the communication throughout was excellent and really put us at ease. She treated Tate like an absolute king Lab, patient, caring, and completely dedicated to making him comfortable. It was clear he was in safe, loving hands. I didn’t hesitate to book back in, and I’m genuinely grateful for the kindness you and your family showed him. Highly recommended.

Cherri was excellent with my Dog Arnie - She responded really quickly to any messages I sent, arranged a meet and greet which put my mind at rest as she is located in a lovely village with amazing walks 5 mins from her house. I am sure if Arnie could talk (although he is very vocal as Cherri found out !) he would say that he had an amazing time being pampered, fed and walked for the days he was there - was definitely a home from home experience - I would have no hesitation in booking Arnie in with Cherri again in the future.

About: I've grown up around cats from when I was a kid, my first being a Bengal named Toto. As a kitten he was as chaotic as you could imagine, but mellowed as he got older. I now havey own fur baby named Nova, who I have had since she was 11 weeks old. As well as growing up with cats, I also grew up with a whole range of animals from dogs, rabbits, hamsters to large farm animals. Before moving to Kent 3 years ago, I lived in North Yorkshire when I worked at a boarding kennel and cattery looking after many different people's wonderful pets. I later moved on to becoming a Zoo Keeper and specialised in feline care. I have always been an animal lover and will take any opportunity to look after or play with any animal no matter the species, so I am happy to pet sit other animals such as rabbits, birds, fish, reptiles, etc.

About: When I think back on my childhood, on growing up, on all stages of my life, there has been one constant, a cat! Or multiple cats more likely. Whether it be my own, neighbours, family, friends, or even those at the rescue centre I volunteered at, I have always experienced life with cats around me. Therefore, you can rely on me to keep your own beloved feline safe, especially due to my experience volunteering with RSPCA Hersden cat rescue centre where I would deal with a variety of tempered cats each visit, from those hostile because they were scared, to those so friendly they would cause havok when trying to clean. Due to this, I have high standards of care for your pet/s, and will ensure that they are happy, healthy, and loved like family.

About: My love for cats started when I was a child. One day, I found a sick little kitten and brought him home. I took care of him, helped him recover, and watched him grow stronger. From that moment on, I developed a very special love for cats. I have always loved animals in general and have never been able to hurt them. I believe every animal deserves kindness, patience, love, and gentle care. Throughout my life, I have had two cats of my own, and I loved them both very deeply. They were truly part of my family, and caring for them brought me so much happiness. I would treat every cat in my care with the same love, patience, and respect that I have always given my own pets.

About: I am sometimes known as the Crazy Cat Lady as I am Cat Mum to 6 beautiful cats. I have a gorgeous tortie, called Teddy who has been part of the furmily for over 12 years. Soon after her adoption from Cats Protection followed black kitties, Sally, Bella, Jack, Freddie and Caleb. Unfortunately, we lost Caleb in October 2022, and whilst we weren't ready to take on another furbaby, late November, Elphie fell right into the palms of our hands, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Not only have they left pawprints on our hearts, we've also had many rabbits, and currently have three who keep us busy! We also have an adorable hamster, who likes to tease Elphie at night. I have previously worked as an Animal-Assisted Therapy Practitioner, with my rabbits, but have since moved onto another venture. Animals are still very much a huge part of our life. They complete our heart and live on in our soul. You can find out more about me and my furrmily on my Facebook blog.

Meet beau as part of a meet and greet with my dogs. My dogs have a few issues that could be off putting to some (one is reactive to dogs and the other is very old with disabilities) - but nothing was too much trouble! Both the dogs were instantly at ease and beau is clearly a natural with dogs and an animal lover. Exactly what you want from a dog sitter! Will definitely be using for dog sitting in the future - thank you!

About: I’ve always loved cats and have plenty of experience looking after them, from confident little lap-seekers to the more independent types who like to supervise you from a distance like you’re the help. I’m very comfortable around all personalities and routines, and I take pride in making sure each cat feels safe, relaxed, and cared for in their own space. Whether that’s feeding, playtime, cleaning up after them, or just keeping them company, I’ll always follow their lead and make sure they feel at ease. Cuddles are always on offer… but only when they decide it’s time. I’ve learned that most cats don’t so much “warm up to you” as they eventually decide you’ve been promoted to acceptable background furniture status — which I consider a win every time. I also have experience cat sitting for family and friends, whether that’s popping in for regular visits to feed, clean and check in, or staying a bit longer and becoming a temporary “new feature” in their territory while their humans are away. I’m used to quickly picking up each cat’s routine and adapting to what they need, so things stay familiar and stress-free for them. I’m reliable, calm, and attentive, and I understand how important it is for cats to stay in their familiar environment with minimal disruption. Your cat’s routine is my priority, and I’ll make sure everything runs smoothly while you’re away.

This was 7mth Sullivan's first 'stopover' away from home! - and it was a real home from home stay. We met Dean through the app and had a 'meet and greet' as I had a day in London planned later with a friend. I felt I could leave Sullivan with the confidence that he would be looked after and welcomed as the excited playful pup he is. Dean updated me through the day with pics showing me a happy settled pup having a lovely walk in the orchard and lounging on the sofa! Thank you Dean (and family) I was able to enjoy my day out and collected a tired but relaxed pup at the end. Excellent!

About: Hello there I’m Nicola, a caring and highly experienced dog walker/ sitter serving Canterbury and surrounding villages. I only look after solo pets and those from the same household. My 'speciality' is reassuring nervous dogs (as well as anxious owners!) I can be flexibly with my availability; whether you need regular weekday walks or occasional pet services. If you require a pet service not explicit on my profile do get in touch, I am always open to new ideas and learning new skills. I have cared for puppies, elderly pets and those with mobility and/ or health considerations. I already have some regular dog walking Clients but have recently gained capacity to take on more work (I am new to Rover). I am now also available for pet sitting whether at my home or yours. I have an enclosed garden, and my home is located a short distance from public footpaths and fields. After saying goodbye to my beloved fur-son last year I do not currently have pets myself (still too bereft!) I have a primary school aged child who is very used to dogs of all ages and sizes (but this would need to be considered ahead of overnight stays my home). I have 25+ years' experience caring for my own/ other people's pets, including in their own homes. As well as previously fostering Romanian rescue dogs, I have cared for puppies, elderly pets and those with health considerations. I am also highly experienced in working with vulnerable people.

We introduced Doris to Wan jeong because the dog carer who has cared for Doris for the first 6 years of her life has moved on. We did a lot of research, looking for a carer who would be kind, responsible and respectful of Doris's needs. Wan jeung is a warm person who clearly loves dogs. She is working hard to develop a happy relationship with Doris and is very keen to understand Doris's daily routines in order for her to feel safe and happy. We feel that we have made the correct choice placing our precious pup with Wan jeung.

About: I have been fostering dogs, old, young, and sick for 5 years. We adopted our lurcher 2 years ago. He is a playful 2 year old, so I need to use treats/ and discipline quite a lot. I have had dogs growing up, and just love to be around all types of dog. I’m at home most of the time. Not currently back at work after maternity leave. I take my dog out at least once a day. So can fit something in most days! I have a fully fenced garden and gate. The house is open plan, however if you need your dog cornered off or my dog cornered off we have baby gates everywhere to help with that.

About: I am originally from North Yorkshire and have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life; my first being a Labrador called Shawkie and a Shetland Sheepdog called Pepper. Since then, I have grown up with Border Collies and shorthaired cats. I have since moved to Kent, and I now have my own cat named Nova, who I have had since she was 11 weeks old. I have helped friends and family from a young age with walking and caring for their own dogs, and then went on to work at a boarding kennel and cattery before becoming a Zoo Keeper. I have always had a passion for dogs and cats and someday dream of having my own dog. I am happy to walk and play with any dog breed no matter the size! I love the outdoors and would be willing to walk your dog no matter the weather. I have recently picked up photography as a new hobby and I am more than happy to take plenty of photos of your dog ok their walks for you to see :) I am currently taking a little break from work due to personal reasons and am available at any time, any day of the week no matter the weather :) I have held two DBS certificates both for a school/college and for the military. Being a Zoo Keeper means I have had several years of training in animal care and safety as well as dog and cat specific care from working at a kennels. I have been trained previously in the administration of medication both oral and injections from a licensed vet while working as a Zoo Keeper so I am able to comfortably meet any care requirements you may have. I am happy to allow your dog off lead during walks, provided they are well-trained and you would like them off lead, otherwise they will be fully leaded while on walks. I do also have a fenced garden at my house for any short play sessions :)

About: I've always grown up around a range of animals, from cats, dogs, tortoises and more. Forever I have been deemed the animal whisperer of my family, and therefore have always been the go to pet sitter, dog walker, and overall one trusted to look after their pets as if they were my own. As a pet owner and animal lover myself, I understand the importance of good quality, trustworthy care for your pets, as they are truly family. My experience in dogsitting friends and families dogs on multiple occasions, walking their dogs from childhood to now, and volunteering with the RSPCA alongside work experience, paired with my passion for loving your pet as if it were my own, leads me to be a safe and reliable choice for taking care of your beloved pet! Now that I am done with my A levels, I am taking a gap year before university to save up and travel, due to never being on a plane, or even leaving the country before! Therefore apart from my part time job that currently takes up my fridays and saturdays, I have a lot of flexible free time to take up pet care duties, and hope to help others be able to relax while knowing their pet is receiving high quality care, while I can be able to save up for my travelling in future, all while enjoying the extra time with animals as someone who finds peace even with the most energetic and chaotic of pet personalities! Due to my position as a gap year student, I am unable to offer boarding at my own home, and am limited on overnight stays, restricted to Aylesham, Kent for that service unless it is a short stay within Canterbury. However when it comes to dog walking, I am flexible with any reasonable times throughout Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, thursday and Sunday, and can be booked to make multiple visits to your home to feed/play/give some love to your pet throughout the daytime! I am well knowledged on the different challenges each breed brings, and how to adapt my care to suit your dogs own personality and needs. It will be ensured that I am well informed on your pet before care is given, and due to my experience volunteering with the RSPCA I am well aware and understand animal welfare standards of care and will ensure your pet is treated the best it can be through my care.

I grew up with my doggie, Fudge. She would sit on my lap in the pram, deal with being dressed as a princess through my childhood and be the fur I cried into during the dreadful teenage years! Animals make our lives and we make theirs. Thats why as a sitter I treat your animal like they are my own childhood pup, providing love, adventure and time when you can't. I am a professional harpist so my day involves practicing my music and giving your pet lots of attention and love. My days are incredibly flexible so I can cater them to what your pet needs. I have a large paddock with lots of space for Zoomies, as well as a fenced off smaller garden to keep your pets safe. I live fairly rurally in the beautiful Kent countryside and I'm close to the beach if your doggie loves a swim!

About: I've been very lucky to have had the opportunity to meet many different pets and their families, I previously owned a house and pet sitting business in Spain for 4 years. I have extensive knowledge of caring for breeds with skin and dietary sensitivities. I’m also highly experienced with caring for rescue dogs (having had 4 rescue me over the years), nervous dogs, brachycephalic breeds, older dogs, cats and end of life care for both including administering medication and personal care. I don't have green fingers but can keep plants alive, I'm respectful of peoples property and love to clean so be rest assured your home will be taken care of as well as your pets. I love to travel, meet new people, cook, read, dance and watch films. I have two amazing adult children and a beautiful grandson. Im unable to amend my availability on the calendar so please do let me know what dates you'd be looking at for house sitting, currently unable to board. Thank you 😊 I run my own business and can work from anywhere in the world so have the freedom to be flexible and the time to devote to caring for your pets needs. I've had animals in my life since I was two years old so understand the need for patience, care and responsibility when it comes to their well being. Im happy to travel within the UK to your home and assure you I’ll take care of it as if it’s my own NOT CURRENTLY BOARDING I have a fully enclosed small garden with 7 feet walls and live near some beautiful orchards and farm land so pee breaks as and when are not a problem for boarders. Boarders are allowed on my furniture but only if that’s what happens in your home. I’m keen to keep to your pets routine and rules so would love to discuss them at a pre meet or on a video call before a sit goes ahead. I can also transport to vets or grooming appointments if these are scheduled for when you’re away. I’ll send as many/as few photos and updates as you need so you know that your pet is being cared for to the high standards I provide

About: I just love animals!!! I’ve taken care of dogs of all different breeds and sizes from a very young age. I grew up with 2 dogs constantly around and as I grew I gained more responsibility looking after them. Enjoying this led me to pursue looking after other people’s lovely dogs and cats etc. I have looked after lots of animals at this point - including a Turtle while the owners were in Japan! I am caring, loving and provide an excellent service for any animal. I am incredibly attentive and have an in depth understanding of the requirements of different and animals/ breeds. My cat and dogs will testify to this along with all the happy customers I have looked after! Working from home allows me to pay far more attention to pets than I probably should! I work fully remotely as a Project Manager in Canterbury and have a flexible schedule. I am available for sitting through the day, any day of the week and also for over night stays. I would ensure whatever pet I was taking care of received the best and most effective care. To ensure this happens I would have a discussion prior to any visits/ walks to ensure your wants and expectations of my service can be met. Within this I would also want to cover any specific requirement of your pet - ie current commands and training.

About: Throughout my life we’ve always had dogs, cats and even reptiles- from Yorkshire terriers and beared dragons up to Boa constrictors and our current Rottweilers I’ve personally trained 4 Rottweilers (3 males 1 bitch) and had the pleasure of raising over 30 pups over the years. As with all big dogs it’s a short life and we’ve recently lost 3 of our 4 (13yrs, 12yrs and 11yrs) a great innings considering their life expectancy we lost our girl due to old age and two males due to cancer- Due to the incredible focus needed to have these breeds it’s given me and my partner great first hand experience of dealing with power, reactive behaviour and general big dog issues. We swear and live by proactive measures ensuring that we avoid tense situations and all cost and do all teaching via reinforcement and care. We spend all and every weekend exploring the uk countryside with Odin, so we’re looking to be able to care for dogs that fit into that lifestyle We live on a large boat, which is out of the water at the moment- we have safety nets and ramps set up so all areas are accessible and safe. Any dog staying with us overnight will have their own cabin onboard :)

About: I’m a calm, reliable, and patient dog walker who builds trust quickly with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. My priority is always to make every walk safe, relaxed, and tailored to each dog’s personality, energy levels, and individual needs. With four years of experience caring for and walking dogs, I particularly enjoy taking them out into nature. I prefer longer, enriching countryside and woodland walks where dogs can freely explore, sniff, and burn off energy in a stimulating natural environment. I often forage for mushrooms along the way, which makes each walk feel like a proper outdoor adventure. I’ll also often take photos during our walks so you can see what we’ve been up to! I’ve recently started my own business that gives me flexibility with how I structure my day and week. Much of my work naturally involves spending time outdoors and walking in nature, so incorporating dog walking into my routine feels like a perfect fit. Rather than walking alone, I can provide dogs with exercise, stimulation, and companionship while I’m already out exploring local countryside and green spaces. It allows me to combine productivity, wellbeing, and a genuine love of dogs into my daily routine. I would treat every pet as if they were my own, a member of the family. I would make sure they feel safe comfortable and well cared for while keeping to their usual routine and individual needs. Whether in my home or the owner’s home they would receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection and a high standard of care. I would also provideupdates so owners have peace of mind while their pet is with me.

Jazz is wonderfully down-to-earth, and her experience, attentiveness, and genuine care are clear from the moment you meet her. We were initially anxious, as Murphy had only ever stayed with family before, but she looked after him so well that he didn’t seem to miss us at all. As this was a first meet, we were offered a meet-and-greet prior to booking which was a great way to have our dog get a feel for the environment beforehand. She followed his routine closely and kept us regularly updated with messages and photos, which made a huge difference in putting our minds at ease. It’s such a relief to know we can leave Murphy in a safe, loving home environment. We highly recommend Jazz to anyone looking for dog boarding. Thanks again Jazz, we look forward to next time!
