About: Diploma in Pet Sitting and Dog Walking. I currently reside with Dolly the miniature pinscher, who is a rescue with one eye, with my 9 yr old son. Before Dolly, I had a Jack Russell named Rocky whose confidence outweighed his stature. I have taken care of dogs, cats, horses and small furries in my years and treat them as family not just pets. I work full time but work from home half of the week. I am flexible with my working hours and can take lunch breaks when it is needed. I have a fenced back garden and am just a short hop from lots of local parks surrounding the River Stour. Any dogs in my home are welcome on sofas and beds and cuddles are free. Our flat provides a calm and secure home environment with fully hard floors throughout living spaces. Our building features a fenced, communal garden that is completely set back and secured away from any roads where your dog can safely enjoy some fresh air and supervised play. Although we have use of a garden, we both love to walk and are happy to provide as many walks a day as your dog requires to ensure your dog is happy, stimulated, and gets plenty of exercise. We will be fully focused on giving your dog individual attention and enrichment. Ryan and I always supervise playtime, both inside and outside the home. We also strictly follow all feeding, medical, and routine instructions provided by you, ensuring a seamless and worry-free stay.
About: I'm a lifelong pet owner, including horses, cats and - most notably - dogs. I've raised and cared for three dogs from puppies through to old age, plus adopting one rescue dog. These have been Alsatians, Welsh Collies and (we think!) some kind of Whippet/ Saluki cross. I've also got plenty of experience with a range of other breeds through friends and family. I understand that the most important thing for your own and your pet's happiness is to support your care and training approach, and am committed to working with you to keep everyone's tails wagging! I work flexibly from home, so can generally be very flexible in terms of availability. The only day with limited availability is a Sunday, due to family commitments, but otherwise can work around your schedule. Within your home, I would look to maintain a normal routine as much as possible to minimise any impact on your dog. I am happy to dispense medication, as well as feed, entertain and walk. I can also water plants and provide basic care for other pets if required. I understand and respect that this is your home, and would look to return it to you in the same condition it was in at the beginning of the visit.

About: Hello there I’m Nicola, a caring and highly experienced dog walker/ sitter serving Canterbury and surrounding villages. I only look after solo pets and those from the same household. My 'speciality' is reassuring nervous dogs (as well as anxious owners!) I can be flexibly with my availability; whether you need regular weekday walks or occasional pet services. I work fully remotely so make a great daytime companion (I am a part-time researcher/ advocate for refugee rights). I have had rescue dogs throughout my life, including "failed" police dogs and elderly dogs. Previously, I fostered Romanian rescue dogs, ahead of helping them find their forever homes. I already have some regular dog walking Clients but have recently gained capacity to take on more work (I am new to Rover). I am now also available for pet sitting whether at my home or yours. I have an enclosed garden, and my home is located a short distance from public footpaths and fields. After saying goodbye to my beloved fur-son last year I do not currently have pets myself (still too bereft!) I have a primary school aged child who is very used to dogs of all ages and sizes (but this would need to be considered ahead of overnight stays my home).
