I have cat toys and scratching posts that are provided for my cat to be stimulated. I feed him twice a day, once in the morning with nuggets and once in the evening with a sashe.
Information Krishen B. would like to know about your pet
I have experience taking care of both a special needs dog and an elderly dog. Let me know if your dog has any special requirements or mobility issues when walking. It also would be good to know about any phobias/triggers your dog may have. For instance: My neighbours' dog Laila used to be afraid of motorbikes and church bells.
A typical day
As I am really into walking myself, I therefore am more than happy to take a dog on a longer walk should the dog prefer it. For example: If walking in the Canterbury area, I'd be delighted to take the dog(s) along the Stour Way path to Chartham which runs through the meadows and starts at Toddler's Cove Park, Canterbury. From start to finish it is indeed a very dog-friendly route with little to no traffic, just some cyclists. Incredibly scenic and there will be loads of interesting smells or scents for the dog to enjoy. As for house sitting, I am always up for pets and will happily stroke the dog or cat should they demand it. I also enjoy playing with toys: for the cats, stimulating them with their toys and watching them try to 'kill' it like they would kill actual prey never ceases to amuse me. Stimulating a cat with toys is also good because it can help to control their prey drive; reducing the likelihood of them attacking birds or scratching up your furniture. For dogs, I tend to stimulate them with chew treats/toys. My neighbours' dog, named Bilbo, used to absolutely adore chew sticks- he would bury or hide it, and then pretend he couldn't find it! Very silly and clever at the same time.

Pet care experience
I've had pets ever since I was as young as age 7. I started out with goldfish in a small aquarium. Owning pets when I was young helped me to grow into a more empathetic and compassionate person. I also used to have pet guinea pigs, and now I have a cat. Having these mammals has allowed me excellent opportunities to form bonds with animals early on, and practice for bonding with future pets. I also attended Hadlow College Canterbury for 3 years and did animal care courses. I worked with goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs in their outside yard. In their indoor area, I also worked with small rodents, reptiles and even amphibians. For all of those animals, I was given training on how to clean them out, how to handle them, give them the right amount of food, and how to perform a health check. Qualifications acheived: •Foundation in animal care •Level 1 diploma in animal care •Level 2 diploma in animal care
Reviews

Krishen looked after Millie for a few hours while we were all out for the evening. He had walked Millie before so he understood her quirks and was OK with her wanting to just doze until we returned. Very respectful of our property and would definitely use his services again.

Krishen arrived on time and got on very well with Millie on the walk. He was clearly in tune with her and understood that she would stop and sniff at irregular intervals. We've booked the next walk already.

Responded at short notice. Gave her longer than the hour Lilah had a lovely time!
Krishen clearly loves dogs and has had a great time walking our dog Emmie. She's not the easiest dog to walk, she's very stop-start, but Krishen strikes the right balance between letting her do her thing and also making sure that walks are completed. Good work, would definitely recommend.
